  1. On the Facebook Buy and Sell group in my area, someone was selling their used wedding gown for $25,000. They purchased it new for $39,000! A few posted that an FB group really isn't the best place to sell this item.
  2. And, as far as we know, they can't see anything up close. It's must be really hard to take in the work. I still think Duff is more talented.
  3. Sorry, but cake making shouldn't require that much construction! I think Duff should have won. Buddy's cake was impressive, but I though Duff's was better and more imaginative.
  4. Nova looks especially April in that photo. (Top row, center)
  5. Seriously? Someone is going to buy nail polish "chosen" by a toddler? The name reads to me as "Nails by Ry Derk."
  6. Gok also has a better imagination with the fittings. He'll pin on sleeves, straps, embellishments, etc. And sometimes he sketches. I know he is a hired gun at the shop, but he is a stylist. I think he does a better job than the Kleinfeld crew.
  7. She was the first person I thought of too!!! Still pulling for her! Maybe she'll get a shot!
  8. Also, the shop has a great selection, but it's not as overwhelming as Kleinfeld. I feel like Kleinfeld carries so many designers and the styles tend to be very similar across brands. Remember when everyone had a stripper fairy dress in their collection? There is a different selection of designers at the British shop and you don't see ten versions of the same style and silhouette. There is more variety across the lines they carry. Kleinfeld has so many it's like more of the same over and over. Know what I mean?
  9. I hate that the SYTTD: England is buried on Sunday morning. Although, I do record it and I enjoy watching it with my Sunday breakfast. I just wish it was on Saturday nights. It's usually a nice palate cleanser from the OG SYTTD. :)

    Farrah

    Yes. Of her businesses.
  11. Meredith Viera won't get a shot because she hosts another game show? That's lame! She'd be one of the best choices. She has the gravitas and the chops. Ugh!
  12. https://apple.news/A3SSB46pGQqGD6_Ale5Fvfg The five eps he shot will air then back to guest hosts.
  13. I smell a topic title change!!!!
  14. Kylie and TKB for the final two. We see Ru gasp anytime Kylie comes down the runway. We don't usually see that with the other queens. Am I correct? I really think Kylie is going to win.
  15. Yup! Sigh.
  16. Devoin is another one trying to get a t-shirt company off the ground!
  17. Oh. My. GAWD! https://www.instagram.com/p/CR4cWOagsNC/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  18. Yeah, I thought of that. But her current show is pretty lame! And she is so much better than that. My fave female guest host was Mayim Bialek, My fave male guest hosts were Anderson Cooper and George Stephanopoulos, I'm pretty sure neither will be giving up their day jobs for the gig. I also liked Ken Jennings, after a while, and Mike Richards wasn't too bad. He has game show hosting and producing experience. After two shows, I'm still not feeling Levar Burton.
  19. What about Meredith Viera? I think she would have been perfect.
  20. Shaela's segments were so interesting to me. Really well done, except for Lisa being a little over the top. (She never used to be that way, but she has been since she's gotten much more camera time!) It was fascinating to me how Shaela felt the fabric and really "saw" the dress. And Randy's comments about "feeling" in the dress was bang on in this case. I also call shenanigans on the Atlanta bride. I cannot understand why the groom had to wear two tuxes. The first one was awful! So, not be outdone, she has to shell out money for an second dress. That being said, I wasn't crazy about her ceremony dress, but it really suited her. I tried to find a price for it, and the best I could find was that it was in the $5000 range. I liked her reception dress and I was so glad it wasn't a retread of the ceremony dress. So many of these two-dress brides on this show do that. They want a second dress but it looks so much like the first one. Why bother? As for the designer, kudos to Kleinfeld for promoting her. I looked up her line and it's great! I love Say Yes to the Dress England and I wish TLC would promote it separately from the original show. You wouldn't even know it was on unless you were watching the first hour and stayed until the end. Gok is so great with the brides and the price points are down to earth for some beautiful dresses. I loved how the one bride freaked out over a dress that was $3000 pounds. In US dollars it's over $5500. The Kleinfeld brides will spend that in a heartbeat for some stupid Pnina stripper fairy monstrosity. The VPL bride wore a thong in the end. Well, duh. That's why people wear thongs! (Personally, I can't stand them!) The bride who lost all the weight looked beautiful in all the gowns she tried and I liked all of them for her. That Gok created an underskirt on the spot for the see-through dress was amazing. Take that Randy and Monty!
  21. From one of the articles: Now, two days later, the Viacom-owned network has announced that Colbert will be returning to the network that made him famous, though this time he’ll do so as the co-creator and producer of a weekly talk show fronted by Charlamagne tha God, who’s long been one of the most influential and controversial voices in New York radio. The series, aptly titled Tha God’s Honest Truth with Lenard ‘Charlamagne’ McKelvey, is set to launch Friday, Sept. 17, at 10 p.m. So Fridays at 10:00pm.
  22. I'll bet that Comedy Central will be broadcasting the Late Show next day, or something like that.
  23. Are these spite tomatoes? Seriously, Gary looks like he lost more weight!
  24. I loved this series!!!!!!
