I missed the part with Sophia turning Debra into a frog. Was that shown on the after-show?

I seem to recall seeing Cate and Ty holding cigarettes. Cate definitely during the bachelor party episode. Saw April with a butt when she was talking to Carly at the wedding. And I remember seeing packs of cigarettes on the table at Maci's when she was living with Kyle. And in the scene when she were driving to the wedding talking about how much she had accomplished in her short life (!), I'm pretty sure Maci was holding a vape pen.

Is there any way to watch the aftershows online? I live in Canada and we don't get them on MTV Canada. They aren't streaming on the MTV Canada Website and you have to log onto the MTV US site using information about your cable provider. I love reading about what happens, but I would love to see some of it with my own eyes. Thanks!

I did a search on it and came up with articles about customers being mad at Maci since they could only purchase small sizes. They opened last Black Friday. Personally, I think the shirts are overpriced and not attractive at all. Are they trying to sell a lifestyle with "Things That Matter"? If, so what exactly is it? The clothes seem to have nothing to do with anything. I just don't get it! http://radaronline.com/celebrity-news/maci-bookout-clothing-line-controversy-teen-mom-bashed-fashion-high-prices-small-sizes/

Maci and Taylor have a clothing line. Was this already discussed? I found this article about it. They launched on Black Friday, last November. http://www.sheknows.com/entertainment/articles/1104443/maci-bookouts-new-clothing-line-is-causing-huge-controversy-photos All they sell is t-shirts. And expensive ones, at that.

Brooklinista: I have no idea why that message three-peated, but I truly mean what I said! ;)

But will she take out the gauges for the wedding? I'm sure she'll have a strapless dress. What about her ugly back tattoo? Meow!!!! But will she take out the gauges for the wedding? I'll just leave this right here. Aren't we all glad that Farrah got pregnant in the "younger part of her life"? http://www.tvguide.com/news/farrah-abraham-teen-mom-girl-boss/?rss=breakingnews&partnerid=spi&profileid=05

Was it just me or did I hear Butch ask one of the strippers for oral sex? Also, my hubby came into the room while Sophia was on screen doing something weird and he asked me, "What is wrong with that girl?"

BTW: Did anyone see this photo gallery? Sophia looks a lot more like Farrah than we thought: http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/pictures/farrah-abraham-through-the-years-2015285/45802

Say Yes To The Dress - General Discussion

Another link for you! This time about royal brides over the years. Real life princesses - and not a stripper-fairy dress among them! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3116688/The-evolution-royal-wedding-dress-Grace-Kelly-s-pale-pink-taffeta-frock-Queen-s-silk-pearls-Kate-s-lace-Alexander-McQueen-loveliest-gowns-1923-remembered.html -
Say Yes To The Dress - General Discussion

Even WyQuasia weighs in on this listicle! She is one of the brides recently who wanted to show off her ASSets. I also maintain that "WyQuasia" is a killer Scrabble word! Her parents MUST have been fans when they named her. :) -
Thank you for the clarification. I only read some of the transcript and saw a couple clip. Nothing gave me the whole story. I still feel like Farrah feels victimized for some unknown or fabricated reasons. I just don't get it.

I was so confused my Farrah, too! I wish she would just come right out and tell us what the "trauma" was in her life that so horrified Dr. Jenn. Everything she said seems very very edited - either by her or the production. Nothing really made sense. I do agree that she shouldn't be called a "porn star". She was the "star" of two videos, but she ain't no Jenna Jamison. I understand why Farrah's camp doesn't want to use the term. They don't want to make her seem like a pornography careerist. But that could very well be her path in a few years. Farrah's victimization reminds me of the Duggar girls. Those girls were interviewed and they biggest violation they felt was that someone leaked their brother's police records. Really? That's what brought you to tears? Isn't that anger and disappointment a little misplaced? How the fact that you were molested by your brother? Maybe Farrah feels she is a victim because of MTV or the tabloids. (She didn't seem too thrilled when Amber mentioned another season.) But she gives everyone plenty of ammunition with her choices. She is a very confusing lady! And the Cosmopolitan article someone posted shows that she believes she is actively pushing a feminist agenda with her life choices. Again, very strange!

I really wish we could live blog this show with everyone here. It would be so funny to read comments in real time! "Ryan, do you have anything else you want to say?" "No." Hilarious!!!!!

And what is with that???? Maci must be getting some product placement money from the Young & Reckless people. I noticed in one episode Maci and Shelby wearing the same shirt in different scenes. What???? I'd never heard of these clothes until I saw Maci and Kyle constantly wearing them. Are they popular in TN or is everyone Maci's storyline getting paid to wear them? Personally, I think they are ugly! Also, the lipstick that Maci is pimping is from a company that she has some personal connection to. The owner is Britney Chisholm and she is married to a motocross racer. So make of that what you will.

Someone else upthread mention Tyler's use of the phrase "placing for adoption". In the adoption process, one of the things you learn from your social worker is to use positive adoption language. So Tyler is using a term that Dawn probably discussed with him. As parent who has adopted, I use this term as well. When someone asks why the birth mother "gave up her baby", I reply with something like, "Well, she was placed for adoption because..." Check out this information: Using positive adoption language in your home and around your child will have a positive impact on your child’s self esteem. It is important for your child to know the love, care, and concern that went into their adoption plan. Using simple terms such as, “chose to place for adoption” can convey that care and concern. Negative terms such as, “gave up for adoption,” conveys that there was not much thought that went into the decision. It also implies that there was something wrong with the child and that is why they were “given up.” Typically, we give up things that are bad for us: smoking, drinking, gambling, etc. Children are not “given up for adoption.” The birthparents take painstaking effort to choose the parents they believe will be perfect for their child. There is a lot of love in that process, more than most can imagine. What I don't understand is the extent of Dawn's involvement in this adoption. Why is Teresa calling Dawn to tell Tyler to tell Cate that she will call? Why doesn't Teresa just call Cate when she has time? I know that Cate works for Dawn in some capacity (as a poster-child for Dawn's adoption agency), but this is a six-year-old adoption. My daughter is 3 and the last contact I had with our adoption agency was in settling up our account about a week or two after she was born. I've had no contact since. I'm assuming this is the same situation for most families who adopt. The birth mother and I have direct contact (mailing addresses, phone numbers, email address) and we never use the agency for anything. Then, again, Cate and Tyler are in a much different situation with the TV show and their connection with Dawn. One more thing: Sophia's behavior toward Simon and her mother was really disturbing! You can't even compare Leah and Sophia. Sophia behaves like a brat and no one does anything. Leah is generally well-behaved because she has someone around who will not let her get away with that. I don't think even Amber would let Leah act the way Sophia did. Sorry.
