Or course you would be anxious at this point. Who wouldn't. They should treat you for anxiety with an anti-depressant as well something to calm you, whether it be a benzo, or other less addictive options, not HPB meds. No harm in treating you for anxiety while figuring the rest out. And they have enough evidence to know something is going on. Yeesh, keep on them BSG.

WTF?! I would walk into an ED and complain of heart attack symptoms. They'll gather all your info together and run any additional tests needed. This sucks BSG!

What? 3 important questions: 1. Where are they living? (glad they made that nice nursery for Izzy) 2. Does she have REAL supervised hours to even take the test? 3. After passing the test will she still need to work under someone else? The TTH house only has 3 bedrooms, plus Grandma's room. There is no way J & D w/Iz or Anna & the M & Ms could possibly be staying there. Maybe J & D are at his moms.

Wearing PJs in the same room as a man?

I was wondering the same thing when looking at a photo of her from the side.

My thoughts too, Wellfleet. A lot of sacrifices are made when becoming a parent. I'm not sure Amy has it in her to make the sacrifices and give up her own personal spotlight.

Well the flu is still whipping my ass. Was hoping to go to work today, but still don't feel all that well. On the bright side I feel better than I felt over the long weekend.

Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events
GeeGolly replied to maraleia's topic in Counting On
I don't think they shun for sinning. I think they shun for breaking away. -
So then how about a pair of cute little short bloomers that would only show if she flashed someone. The leggings make a cute little outfit look sloppy.

It's widespread. I came home from work some years back, to find my 16 year old daughter, changing her 18 year old boyfriend's flat tire. He was absolutely clueless.

Too funny. And you can't start a story and not finish. Who are they? :)

The Duggars would have to make over $80,000 per year to be above the poverty threshold, when including their adult dependent children.
-
From People magazine: "A source close to the series confirms they could lose an estimated $25,000 to $45,000 per episode, but that amount doesn't include any of other sources of income related to their 19 Kids and Counting fame. There were 22 episodes in season 9 of the show, which wrapped up May 19 and there have been 227 episodes total." Using these facts & figures, the Duggs have made somewhere between $6 million & $10 million. They could have easily spent $2 million alone in standard living expenses during that time. That would not include added expenses like additional vehicles (including RV & bus), plane costs, unsponsored trips (like yearly ATI visits), multiple Journey to the Heart & Alert visits, multiple property taxes, etc. I would hazard a guess that the budget for the weddings was the pay they were getting from TLC, so I would think no money was made there. Maybe the Duggars are flush or maybe they're not, but the still have a household of 19 (including Grandma) at the TTH and no real income at this point. They need an income of $100,000 a year to cover basic needs. And much more to continue the expenses of owning multiple vehicles, a plane, and multiple properties. Time will tell.

Yehp, it's permed. When the older girls were younger they all permed their hair too. I think Jinger may still perm her hair as well.

I posted this in the Media thread per a conversation there, But thought it is a more fitting post for this thread because it is about finances. Their largest seasons were 3 - 6, with season 4 having the most episodes at 38. Seasons 7 - 10 averaged 20 episodes per season. Like Sew Sumi said if they had a pay increase it was on a lessor amount of episodes. According to poverty guidelines for 2015 the Duggars would have to make over $80,000 per year to be above the poverty threshold. So for a 10 year period, if the Duggars made 1 million dollars, that would put them in working class or lower middle class. From my perspective, even considering many of their perks, they have spent a large amount of their income during their years on TV. Like I said earlier, IMHO, even if they invested 2 million, it won't last long with a family of their size. And to add to the above posts, they best learn to prepare meals on the cheap and develop marketable skills.

Warm & fuzzies for Aunt Dolly and you too, MM.

I'm 53, born & raised in New England, and like Wellfleet, black and white are no-nos for weddings. I've been to weddings where both colors have been worn, but not a solid white or a completely black outfit. Not to defend Michelle but she looked like she was wearing a 1950s Nurse uniform. If she had been in an outfit like Deanna's in all white, then maybe, just maybe, I could think she might be trying to show up a young cute shapely bride. ETA, I wear white after Labor Day. (shhh)

Oh dear MP! Yikes! Maybe you need IV meds. Wishing you wellness soonly!!!!!
