  1. I think I'm cranky tonight. Josie - the leggings - really!?
  2. Warm & fuzzies for Aunt Dolly and you too, MM.
  3. Yehp, Shut up Amy. Duggar, not-a-Duggar. How many times is she going to say that? She jumped high and wide to be driving the Duggar train in the past 2 months. Churchhoney said it best; Shut up Amy. That what Jess'a way of stamping her feet and saying "I'm marrying him whether you like it or not".
  4. I'm 53, born & raised in New England, and like Wellfleet, black and white are no-nos for weddings. I've been to weddings where both colors have been worn, but not a solid white or a completely black outfit. Not to defend Michelle but she looked like she was wearing a 1950s Nurse uniform. If she had been in an outfit like Deanna's in all white, then maybe, just maybe, I could think she might be trying to show up a young cute shapely bride. ETA, I wear white after Labor Day. (shhh)
  5. Oh dear MP! Yikes! Maybe you need IV meds. Wishing you wellness soonly!!!!!
  6. So sorry HappyFC. Hang in there kiddo. Lets all send forces into the universe to get them home safe, sound, and soon! ((((HUGS))))
  7. And in a room with the lights off.
  8. This is from the same day. The Dillard's missionary work looks exhausting.
  9. Gotta stop wearing those prairie skirts Amy!
  10. Amy probably re-gifted the mani-pedi & restaurant gift certificates. And really, when someone's life is turned upside down, the biggest gift would be not to talk about it in a national interview.
  11. Provide and demand are two different things. It would be against he law to deny admittance to any program for not having an STD screening that takes public monies. And even a private rehab could set themselves up for a discrimination lawsuit if they demanded STD screenings.
  12. I hope the Dillards have enough sense to respond. Derick has an Accounting degree and he would look foolish not to explain their expenses. Part of me wonders that if SOS is a scam, maybe the Dillards were also scammed by them.
  13. No, they can't do that. It is not their business. Medical privacy extends even when in rehab.
  14. Yes, he did. And I believe the Kelly/Michelle MOB dresses were a coincidence. Michelle mentioned the girls shopping with her and finding the dress on the sale rack. I don't think Michelle and Kelly wear the same sized clothing.
  15. Do non-hospital affiliated Midwifes do a postpartum visit? Can they check for STDs? The odds are that Anna had a home birth.
  16. Some how, and I can't figure it out, but Michelle's hair still looks mulletish. There is a shot of her with her hair blowing in the wind, and something about it doesn't make sense.
  17. Jessa & Ben will have to have an income. First like Churchhoney said, JB is cheap. Michelle has stated "Cleave and leave baby". And 1 million dollars @ 4% interest brings in $40,741.54 a year. Even if cheap JB has a couple million invested wisely, he still needs to support himself, Michelle, and the 16 still at home. If Jessa & Ben are paying utilities & property taxes, JB breaks even. I don't believe, even more so that the show's income has stopped, and there's less eyes watching, that he is financially supporting anyone other than the ones living at home. When the Mold House & McMansion were empty without rental income and neglected, the Duggars had steady income from TLC & the talk circuit, they now have neither. I think either the Seewald's have some leftover TLC money or they are panicking or are just kind of dumb.
  18. I wonder how the dress conversation went down. Ben's sister wears shorts and bathing suits, so it doesn't seem he or his family buy into the whole modesty thing. Do you think they arrived at the TTH and everyone went nuts with Jessa's knees showing? And then had poor Jana scrambling to fix the problem?
  19. So, one might think that a young couple expecting their 1st child would be worried about how they're going to make ends meet and would be scrambling for decent employment. They can't be that frontally lobed naive at this stage. Curiouser and curiouser.
  20. Well, for the time being I think we should take this as a Chex Mix warning. For real, cuz stranger things have happened.
  21. I'm not sure what they make at these appearances, but in would need to be in the thousands per show to even come close to say, $30,000 a year, which could possibly meet the Seewald's living expenses. At a $1000 a pop that would be 30 appearances a year, and they aren't anywhere near that in numbers for this year. I'm curious to what they are paid, considering who they are and what they represent.
  22. I really think the Duggars are clueless as to what is appropriate attire for any occasion, other than a bride wears a wedding dress. What they wear to any event often seems wrong. Flip-flops to help on a farm, denim tops to a wedding, street clothes for jammies, etc. They are so Gothardized that as long as it's modest it is okay.
  23. I'm kinda, well not kinda, I am med-phobic. I don't shun modern meds, and I even take some. The med-phobe is part of my anxiety disorder. I'm not anti modern medicine at all, it has literally saved my son's life on 3 occasions. But personally I find it easier to use home remedies first. I agree with Wellfleet and think preventative health measures is definitely the smart way to go.
  24. Chalkboard quote "THE WHIP OF THE LAW IS BROKEN ON HIS BACK!!!!!!!" I really should buy a Religion for Dummies book, so take this question with a grain of salt. Could that quote be Preacher Bin's attempt at referring to the lashing of Jesus?
