I wanted Garanimals in elementary school. Being the youngest of 4 I rarely wore anything new, unless my mom made it, until middle school. By middle school clothing sizes and weather appropriateness made wearing hand-me-downs less likely. By then I no longer wanted Garanimals, lol. I think we'd be hard pressed to find 10 outfits out of all of Jill's clothes that any of us would wear. I've seen a top or two I like, but not one skirt I would put on my body. I'm not even sure decent outfits could be created for Jill.

Jill says she doesn't judge women dressed differently, yet she uses the words, messy, dirty, ugly and weird. Yup, no judgement there. Oh and Jill, your bullshit story about the gruff man is telling, because y'all look more like a cult in your everyday clothing than in your matching Temu fast fashion.

Roach clip - still laughing. I don't dislike the idea of Jill's hair style on her, but her do is poorly executed. The hairdresser should have at least left out the white blonde extensions. The braids would have looked better with just her natural hair - after a trim of 3 or 4 inches. Below is Jill's hair a week ago - no bright white blonde.

Queen Elizabeth wore some sexy gowns during the beginning of her reign. And every piece of clothing she wore from robes/crowns, tiaras and jewelry, to her everyday engagement dresses were chosen so she would stand out in a crowd, be noticed - be seen. Even her umbrellas were chosen so all eyes could be on her. And even in death her hearse(?) was designed with an elevated floor and lighting so she could be seen. So while Renee can join Jill in the Fuck Yourself Closet, she (and the OG author) should get their facts straight for their women shaming screeds.

I give some of the early reality shows an initial pass because it was all so new, as with the early YouTube families. No one knew how damaging it could become. But when some were cancelled and fought to rebrand themselves, e.g. Kate Plus 8 and Jill & Jessa Counting On, hints of the damage these shows could cause to minors was slowly coming to light. From what little I know about the Franke family they shared their abusive punishments with their viewers and then the mom went off the rails into full blown abuse to the younger two. No passes now. Many reality show, YT and SM kids are adults now and have spoken out against it. Carlin and Josie Bates, prior reality show kids, are full fledged family influencers, using their kids to attract more viewers. Carlin is the absolute worst. They should know better. I truly believe if Josh's crimes hadn't come to light he and Anna would be doing the same.

I don't think they ever wanted to adopt. I think Jessa felt the need to counter all the criticism about "sins of the father". So just another FU internet.

I agree Michelle's kids love her and some may actually like her. I'm guessing many of the abuse/neglect they have identified, they have also qualified. I also believe in the world of poor family environments, the Duggar family is/was by no means the worst. That doesn't make the way the 19 were raised, right or ideal, but it does recognize it wasn't a house of constant horrors. They made a lot of choices I would never make, but that doesn't mean every choice they made was wrong or abusive.

I wear what I want too! 😊 With that said, I didn't spend a decade insinuating that most women dress like "eye traps", so I think snarking on Michelle's attire is fair game.

I have a few reasons, but mainly because the judge mentioned Josh's robust finances and JB is cheap.

Well Ben, in most marriages producing children is always a mutual decision. So yea, he's the dad, financial contributor and part of the family - carrying and delivering should allow Jessa a hard no if she wants it, but it shouldn't give her the final yes.

Tan dance tights are super thick, at least one step above everyday tights. I remember Meredith Viera saying she didn't wear underwear and wore nylons instead, with everything. Maybe she wore them as lightweight shapewear. This was long before Spanx and Skims. Maybe Michelle is wearing compression knee highs?

My take is JB&M initially thought Josh was innocent - or at least not guilty, in that he was being tried for 'a mistake he made' while downloading legal adult porn. I think they both came to realize Josh's guilt during the trial. Knowing he's guilty and keeping/getting him out of jail aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. Certainly with defense lawyers in doesn't matter and I think JB&M thought if he came home they could pray away that damn fortress - again. With that said, I'm one of the few that think Josh paid for his defense.

Give Josie bangs and she'd be Michelle's mini-me. Is Michelle wearing nylons under leggings, under a skirt?? And... why is the chair front and center? Lastly, love Jill's outfit.

Nathan and Esther: No Longer Lonely, Still Batesing Along

No words for that cotton candy dress. Why does it exist and does the bride not have honest family and friends? Glenda the Good Witch after a fight with the monkeys or maybe after walking through a car wash. -

Its against DCF policy to post pictures of foster kids on SM. -
Jill posted on May 5th about doing a bunch of stuff. One of the things was "college ministry finals event". Does anyone know what that is about?

Jeremiah & Hannah: Done Counting and Done Caring
GeeGolly replied to Scarlett45's topic in Counting On
In a world where they're one of 19 J's and one of 30ish Duggar grandchildren, I think having your own name would mean something. One of the things I like about my name is it has never been trendy but has hung on for years. I'm almost always the only 'GeeGolly' in the room, but my last agency email had more than I would have guessed. I once worked on a team with 6 women, 3 of which were Kate, Katie and Katelyn. I like the name Kate but I was also glad it wasn't my name. I think for a Duggar grandchild a distinctly different name from their cousins would be a small gift of individuality.- 991 replies

At least Ivy and the Evys won't be there, but the two Emys likely will be. -

There are endless names. For a first name I would find a name nobody used and one that isn't similar. For the middle name, no big deal. At least the Duggar grandkids won't end up in the same classroom.- 991 replies
