  1. IMO, honor isn't something one should be trained into doing. Honor is earned.
  2. For Jana? I don't think so. She was for Jason though.
  3. First and foremost from the show. Then from SM and Jana's lack of posts including Josie.
  4. I like Jill just as much as all the sisters, but I agree that she somehow became an unsnarkable hero to some followers. As far as sibling relationships, none of the sisters were all that close to any of their siblings. Some buddies became attached to their big buddy, but I think only the brothers and Joy had anything close to a friendship within similar aged sibling groups. Jana was never an introvert. She was a chatterbox who was trained to tone it down.
  5. For the last 5+ years it seems Jana has spent most of her time with Hannah, Jenny and Jordyn, as well as Joy. Maybe Anna and Laura too. Jessa has been known to hang at the TTH, so they see each other some. But in the last couple of years I think Hannah, Jenny, Abbie and JD have been her chaperones when dating Stephen, so Jana likely feels very close to them at this time. Who knows what it will look like in a year or two now that Jana lives a few hours away. Jana has no patience for Josie. Jill and Jinger don't see the family all that much so it makes sense they're not close to their sisters anymore.
  6. Holy moly, Jill's trying to get a feel for what folks would pay for cheap ass clothing and jewelry. I hope folks were honest because none of it was worth her suggested prices. And their modeling - oh goodness. They must have had a fan going and, uhm, my secondhand embarrassment has me at a loss for words.
  7. How will Bri work around that one? Or is it okay to dishonor parents who are inclusive of others?
  8. Just take note while driving and in parking lots. Currently most cars are white, black or gray.
  9. Jill did it as part of a shill, but any mention about working on one's mental health is great.
  10. I would continue venting to us for validation and support. I would also come up with a couple of phrases to say when she's being rude - something akin to, well bless your heart. A phrase that allows you to continue to express your frustration in a subtle way. The phrase is for you and not necessarily for the rude, insecure, poser. Maybe something like, by all means, take the floor, or, as I was saying before Miss Post shared her wisdom... As you and @BitterApple said an end date helps. Focus on making yourself feel better and not anything she says or does. You got this and maybe next time you'll be her supervisor!
  11. The Stews are traveling somewhere right now. Maybe New England? The lower 1/3 is still most green and the middle has not yet peaked for peeping.
  12. There are so many folks stuck it remote places in NC. I think its great MedicCrap is there with their helicopters and are actually being helpful. As someone who lived through a severe weather event, like I said in a previous post, optics matter. I went from sipping coffee and chatting on FB to homeless in a matter of minutes. Even a week later when I was back at work I was sensitive to what I saw and heard. We lost just about everything we owned, including our house, so everyday typical stuff folks do and say felt so ridiculously superficial and at times insensitive. My heart breaks for these folks who are living through this now. The physical and emotional toll is heavy and it can last for days, months, years and even lifetimes. Giving kudos to JD isn't mutually exclusive to calling him out on insensitive behavior.
  13. I didn't see the interview... Its just bad optics to be shown with any food or beverages during the aftermath of a devastating storm, other than maybe a bottle of water.
  14. I think Up canceled the Bates due to Shiny Happy People coming out. The timing lines up. About the time they were canceled was when SHP was making contact with potential interviewees. I think we narrowed down the filming time using the timing of Jill's book and matching it with her SHP interview. SHP aired in late June 2023 and Jill's book was released in September, and she began pushing it in early June.
  15. How many backyard gardens did Janelle start? Half a dozen or so? And I believe she was only successful twice. Once at Garrison's and the other time at Maddie's. I get it, even small gardens take time and effort, so really Janelle has already shown gardens really aren't her thing. Janelle should have just bought a home with some acreage and started small with a roadside stand. Then if it didn't happen she'd still have a nice piece of desirable property that could eventually be sold for a profit.
  16. Surely Jill must have watched her friends the Plaths on TV, as well as the Bates and Duggars. The words God, Jesus, pray, church, fellowship and Bible were spoken almost anytime someone opened their mouth. Prayer closets, family Bible study were openly shown. Every nontraditional behavior was explained in faith based terms. Jill is full of shit. She'd sign on the dotted line quicker than one could say Sephora. Or Apple, or Olive Garden.
  17. WTF is Jill talking about? I've seen bodysuit tops that are looser than what the sisters are wearing. A shrug or ruffles doesn't make the outfit less sluttish, it just makes it glaringly ugly.
  18. Jason and Maddie: As Hilaria Gently Weeps
  19. Goodness yes. I rode my bike all over town for hours at a time when I was little and rode even farther as a teen. My kids rode in our neighborhood within a perimeter of busier roads. They wore helmets. But these were regular ole two wheelers - no motor or engine. My brothers, as tweens and teens rode what we called minibikes, something in between what Giddy is riding and a motorcycle. They wore helmets and only rode them on a (well traveled and well known to us) dirt road and a dirt path at our summer cottage. My mom was a free range parent and even she waited until my brothers were twice Giddy's age.
  20. I just thought of something. Maybe its been brought up and I missed it. Could it be possible Kody's little willy won't, uhm, rise to the occasion? And rather than tell *Christine he just let her leave. *I don't believe anyone was getting any for a long while (except maybe Robin), even though Janelle said they were still intimate.
  21. Giddy is 6. He's riding a motorized dirt bike. He parents are so proud. I was never a bubble wrap mom, but, really?
  22. Wouldn't standing in the rain saying goodbye to Christine and Truely have clued them in? 😕😁
  23. Do we know others aren't getting perks?
