  1. Yes, I think even the way old Chloe was made up indicated that this was more than 20 years into the future. On the one hand, I'm glad Chloe lived a long life with Trixie and Rory, but on the other, it's also sad to imagine her spending all those decades parted from Lucifer. On a separate note, I did wonder at some of Rory's actions, as the way she behaved in present day read somewhat younger to me and seemed more in fitting with her actual appearance.
  2. I started crying at Lucifer and Maze's goodbye and the assault on my emotions continued all to way to Trixie and Dan's conversation. While this was very obviously a wrapping up episode with all the one-on-one heartfelt conversations, I treasured it. I think it was also useful to have the catharsis of this one with the various characters before one final episode that was This also made me realize how invested I've also become in the other characters and relationships on the show. Overall, I found this to be a highly satisfying penultimate episode.
  3. The producers talked about this in an interview with TVGuide. "The idea is that the last remaining [magic of Lilith's immortality] brought her back to life. And now that it's spent she does not need [the ring to survive] it. One of the things that's important to us is always wrapping up a season arc, and so much of that was planting that seed in the first half of Season 5 so that it could pay off [in the finale]. That story has been told, and now it's just a beautiful ring."
  4. Yeah. Kind of bummed to hear about a mid-season premiere, but I also think it has to do with need for more post-production (CGI, etc). The show looks good, and I guess that takes time. I can live with the delayed premiere if it means there won't be too many gaps between episodes.
  5. Yes to all of this. I did find it interesting that the Red K affected Jordan (who is manifesting powers) but seemingly not Jon. That's the aspect that makes me wonder if Jon's powers are already starting to manifest, or if we're still waiting for them to kick in. I must admit, it was helpful to have had Jon unaffected so that he could help protect his dad and brother. It made me think in that moment that that was the upside to Jon's not having powers yet. In any case, I'm glad Lois and Clark decided to be more open with the boys. It wouldn't do for them to start barreling into danger without a clue. I feel the same way about Lois and Clark, @ukgirl71. I realize that they've had alternative love interests in some other tv shows/films, but this JHI and Lois were married with a kid, so it goes a bit deeper than those! But I'm trying hard to keep an open mind. I'm not familiar with Steel, so it'll be interesting to learn more about him. Count me in among those who just love the Lane-Kent family dynamics. Jon and Jordan quarrel sometimes, but it's absolutely clear that they have each other's back. Lois and Jordan's relationship is sweet. Loved the hug before Jordan went to bed. I think it's also lovely continuity with the pilot, with Lois giving him extra care due to his anxiety disorder. Now I just need more of a story for Jon, and to get a deeper look at his relationships with both his parents, too. In the pilot, Clark said raising Jon was easy. But he's been struggling in Smallville and I need his parents to recognize that more.
  6. That second episode on June 10 is the final one for the season/series, right? So bummed ABC cancelled this; I hope the final episode provides a sense of closure. Though I would certainly be happy to see it picked up elsewhere, because I really like the cast.
  7. Yes. I'm using Chrome, Win10, PC, Dark on the site. My concern is email truncation, though, so it may be a separate issue. Hoping an option for the old behavior can be restored if possible. Thank you.
  8. I also noted that since the update, email notifications are all truncated. I hope there's a way to restore the old behavior. Thank you.
  9. So very glad the show is back! I've missed the Frasers and their growing family. I thought the montage of the three couples (+ Fergus/Marsali) was really well done, demonstrating their differing situations. I was also very moved by Jamie and Murtagh's conversation. So far, a very promising start for the season. Can't wait for next week.
  10. This has been getting great reviews at festivals. Looking forward to its release! What I love about Nicole What I love about Charlie
  11. I enjoyed Season 2 more than Season 1 because the focus moved away from Maia and her family, and because the magnificent Audra McDonald joined the cast as a regular. I also found that the characters and relationships deepened over time. So I'm definitely looking forward to Season 3.
  12. The series was apparently picked up for two seasons at the outset, but it is unconfirmed whether the cast shall return for the second season.
  13. Really looking forward to seeing Claire Foy in this role.
  14. Yep. This is Part 1 of the finale, and next week we'll get Part 2.
  15. Same here. Not just over the final conversation with Amenadiel but also the reactions of the other main characters. Heartbreaking. Looking forward to the finale, and hopefully, season 4.
  16. Yep. I understand that there will be a total of 24 episodes this season, while another 2 filmed this year will be aired next season if the show is picked up.
  17. What a fantastic premiere. I admit I've kind of been holding my breath about this episode (and the upcoming ones), but I have to say I really loved that set-up. Unexpected and awesome. Keri was excellent. You could see the toll of this life on Elizabeth without her saying a word. Her looking at that cyanide pill, then at herself in the mirror to close the episode... how could this ever end well? Matthew, too, with the change in Philip after seeing Oleg's sign. It was like the weight of the world was back on his shoulders, looking just like he did in Season 5. Poor Philip, unwillingly dragged back into the life... to spy on his wife, no less. Things look bad, but I'm still hoping against hope that Philip and Elizabeth make it through. I've really missed this show. So glad to have it back for the next 9 weeks.
  18. So glad Keri, Matthew and Alison were recognized even if the show wasn't. Definitely well deserved noms in very competitive fields.
  19. Loved this episode, what with Alex/Shahir/Alex's mom, Maggie/Bree/Charlie, Zach and Dana, Cassie and Thomas, and of course, Alex/Charlie. I've been a bit wary of those two exploring separate romances; dare I hope that last scene with Manny put an end to that? Also, I've been a fan of Erica Durance since Smallville, but I think she's grown a lot as an actress since then. That last scene with Charlie was well done. Still really enjoying this final season. 11 more episodes to go.
