  1. Moiraine can channel again since Rand cut the shield. I personally think she'll need to actively unmask the bond with Lan, since she masked it in 1.07 and told him in 1.08 that she couldn't unmask it because she couldn't touch the source. Now she can. I'm very happy about this, and I hope she and Lan can reconcile more deeply next episode, hopefully with a good, heartfelt conversation. I really enjoyed this episode notwithstanding the surprising way Siuan went. I'll be honest; unlike thuganomics85, I didn't expect Siuan's vow to row beside Moiraine early in the episode to turn into Siuan basically compelling Moiraine to do something against her own will at the end. I do like that Moiraine has found allies in Alanna and Verin, at least for now. Very curious about how this little Rand/Moiraine/Lan/Lanfear roadtrip will turn out.
  2. Here. I've been listening to it on Spotify, and per the articles, it should be available on the various streaming services.
  3. I found it poorly written. Rebecca Ferguson may be too busy to continue to appear in the franchise, but the way they wrote her out left much to be desired. It read like fridging, with the character dying to motivate Ethan after having such a minimal presence in the film. I found it so disturbing after the care put into developing Ilsa over the past two movies. It certainly affected my ability to enjoy the rest of the film for what it was.

    S01.E08: Hanna

Aren't there two episodes left, as it's a 10-episode season?
  5. I don't think they're necessarily dropping everyone completely, just trying to renegotiate recurring roles for them. For instance, they offered Dylan Walsh 3 episodes in Season 4, which he rejected. So I think the appearance of the other characters will depend on whether they can come to an agreement on the revised number of episodes and pay. I expect using guest stars would be cheaper than retaining several regulars, so that's what they plan to go with to deal with the lower budget.
  6. Yes, this makes the most sense; it would explain why all the other characters are suddenly not around as much. Also fits with the news that Michael Cudlitz has been upped to series regular.
  7. I agree that losing Sam Lane is unfortunate. However, I take it from the above information from Instagram that it was partially the decision of the actor, not wanting to be tied down to the show while only appearing in 3 episodes, so I understand. Also guessing it'll probably be the family + Lana and Sarah who stay on. I'll miss the other characters, but I'm mainly in this for Lois and Clark, and at this point, I'm more grateful the show got another season. I definitely wasn't ready to say goodbye to such excellent incarnations of two characters I've long loved in two episodes. EDIT: Just saw this news: Dylan Walsh, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Wolé Parks, Tayler Buck and Sofia Hasmik will all no longer be series regulars in ‘SUPERMAN & LOIS’ Season 4. There is hope for them to recur or guest star next season, pending availability. Link Apparently we're down to mainly the family. I guess we'll see how the writers go about this, but I remain optimistic after a largely excellent Season 3.
  8. This is great news! I must admit that I had come to think that they were just waiting for the season to end to announce a cancellation. I'm so glad that suspicion didn't pan out. I wouldn't mind more focus on the family and the leads moving forward to deal with the budget cuts, as long as the writing remains good, as it has been this year.
  9. 13. So we have 5 left this season, and I hope more to come.
  10. Wasn't this what she was supposed to have been wearing during her treatment in this episode? Bitsie Tulloch mentioned having Lois use one to better help explain why Lois won't be going completely bald. (She says she offered to shave her head for the storyline, but the producers declined.)
  11. Loved this episode. Great introduction to the character of Juliette! Very interested to see where the story goes from here.
  12. I really like the relationship between Stuart and Kate. Very interesting conversation between them in the car. "Tell her. You'll see. Rayburn, Billie... They don't want me without Hal." Loved Keri Russell's delivery of that line, too. Pitched just right. I've very much enjoyed her portrayal of the character.
  13. I love this series so far. Keri Russell is fantastic as the lead, and the supporting cast is uniformly excellent. I find the dynamics between the characters very compelling. I hope Netflix renews the show for season 2, as I'm definitely interested to see more, and learn the fates of Hal, Stuart and Ronnie (they seemed pretty distant from the blast, but the look on Kate's face at the end seems to indicate that she'd gotten pretty bad personal news).
  14. This was probably my favorite episode of the season. I loved the different conversations Kate had, culminating in her discussion with the President at the end. I thought the variety of scenes really showed off her skills. I admire your restraint. I watched the first episode, took a break, then binged the next 7.
  15. I've been awaiting this show for Keri Russell, who I loved for six years as Elizabeth Jennings on the Americans. So I was already inclined to cotton on to Kate, but I'm pleased to find that the other characters likewise intrigue me, her Deputy and the CIA station chief most of all. Still trying to figure out the Kate's dynamic with her husband. All-in-all, I found this to be a good introduction and am eager to see more.
  16. The official trailer is here!
  17. It's already been confirmed that the second half will air in 2024,unfortunately. Very disappointed about this as well. At this rate, the final season may indeed air in 2025, if not later.
  18. This is an excellent, in-depth (and spoilery) interview that gives us an idea of what to expect from Lois's journey this season. Thanks for sharing!
  19. Jonathan mentioned in the episode that Jordan had returned his truck.
  20. I totally agree with this. I had been looking forward to this show anyway after discovering and tearing through the book series during the pandemic, and while there are ways in which the show's vibe is different, I'm really enjoying it. I'm liking the nuances in the development of characters I know from the books. I appreciate how the show is developing Will's relationships with the various characters - Angie, Faith, Amanda, Nico, and Betty. It's one of the few shows I genuinely look forward to seeing each week, and I'm hoping the back half the season (is there confirmation anywhere of how many episodes we'll get?) will remain strong.
  21. Is it our understanding that nothing was edited in the episodes and they were just switched wholesale? I think the switched order makes more sense for the Will and Angie relationship because in episode 2 she sort of ended things with him, but in this episode (supposedly episode 3), they woke up in bed together. It makes more sense to me that this would happen post-Ormewood dinner when she went to him and confessed.
  22. I really like this, too. The straightforward discussions between Will and Angie (as well as between Will and Faith) are a pleasant surprise. You see that there are underlying issues there, but they're both trying. Of course, part of me is still waiting for the other shoe to drop, thinking that maybe the 'half a season of angst' is still ahead. But overall, I'm really enjoying this show. It's different from the book series, but I largely like the changes. I appreciate the character development on the show.

Being a fan of Erika Christensen, I'm glad Angie doesn't grate the way she did in the books for me. But I am curious to know when they plan to introduce Sara Linton.
  24. Glad Catherine is sticking around after solving the Grace case. I hope she'll stay on if the show is renewed for season 3.
  25. Really enjoyed the Catherine/Folsom dynamic in this episode and hope to see more of it as the case unfolds.
