Israel and I made Easter/Resurrection Day cookies that we shared with people in the community along with a gospel message. It is common here in our area for people to focus on the suffering of Jesus and lose sight of the hope that we can have through salvation because Jesus rose again. We wanted to highlight this important reality this last week on Easter Sunday. What is she getting at? Is she saying the poor, ignorant Catholics focus too much on Lent (e.g. The Stations of the Cross)? The arrogance is stunning. Wtf.

That's actually a damn nice house. The lot and setting are great. A lot of the furniture looks decent, although all that shit clutter makes me itchy. Our first house was 3 bed, 1 bath, the lot was small, we raised our kids there, and WORKED VERY HARD to afford it. Most of our furniture was (and still is) secondhand. I don't begrudge those poor children a nice place to live and play. But it irks me to no end if Jill actually grifted that house. Could someone please confirm that someone did indeed give them the house? They're not renting? And what's the story with the printing press?

A couple of years ago, Monte appeared on a local morning talk show to promote a bridal show he was involved with. He was subdued and professional, completely opposite of his persona on SYTTDA, which leads me to believe he's just playing a "character" ( an annoying one, unfortunately!)

Nurie is very pretty and is no doubt a sweet girl. A young man looking for a fundie wife could do a lot worse. But what do you think the chances are of someone wanting to marry into that hot mess of a family? Poor child has had a hard life. I wish she had more opportunities than waiting for her "true love."

Going to school--be it elementary, high school, college--is so far out of their realm of what is "normal," you might as well be talking about becoming an astronaut and going to the moon. To these people, IT JUST ISN'T DONE. School is a horribly evil place for heathens, whores, and criminals. That's why it will never happen for Josh, Anna, and their children; they are stuck and, although they might not be happy, they are, no doubt, completely convinced they're "better" than the rest of the world.

How can Anna be so, so stupid? Do JB & M have no shame? This is all their doing and Anna is eager to comply. Nothing good will come of this. How sad and disgusting.

The wedding planner...what a piece of work. She was SO full of herself because she's a damn wedding planner. What?!? Get a real job, sister. Three "interns." She's full of crap. Who interns as a wedding planner? She was probably paying them minimum wage to show up and help and be verbally abused and then I hope the three of them went out to a bar and did shots and howled about the gravity of misplacing two picture frames.

Poor Molly deserved better. In my opinion, she was too reserved personality-wise in the minds of the judges and did not get credit for her solid performance. I'm convinced that the kids who had some type of gimmick were favored. You know, like a sprout or scarf or giddiness. It's too bad.

Late to the party...I love Jethro Tull...Finally got to see them in concert about 10 years ago. Our kids were teens at the time and went too with a few friends...they were fans...but they did draw the line at sitting with Mr. Bean and myself ;)

Hi!! I'm a little new to this particular show...I don't watch it, but I come here for the excellent snark. I am a little confused. Could you please tell me the role of Lenny, Todd, Buddy, and anyone else. I believe that Lenny was a boyfriend, is he still? Thanks!

I've always had kind of a soft spot for Jessa. Every big family has a "brat" and she is the Queen Brat of the Duggars. With Jessa, what you see is what you get. And from what we all can tell, she seems to embrace motherhood. She's actually good at it and gets a kick out of Spurgy. Well, ok, since we're here to snark, what else does she have to do? It's not like she's working. And she has plenty of support and built-in babysitters when she needs to do a Starbucks run. (But she wins the cutest baby lottery...)

My favorite was Allie's...elegant, original, fit the model beautifully. Not sure if I can watch the rest of the season if Izzy continues to sport sprouts. It's maddening. :)
