Well and a 3 yo commonly says many words so it is not a huge achievement. Lol

I love that they completed the rose ceremony tonight. Let’s hope they get back to doing that this season instead of finishing them the next episode.

I just learned about this recently because I knew someone with a young child getting them. They do interventional braces early now for those that need it based on how their teeth are growing in, lack of space, etc. It is to help them not to have to be in braces so long later on, as they will most likely need them later too. I guess it helps the process later by correcting certain situations early.

Yes there is no other explanation to keep having kids—she clearly is a kid hoarder. When she had more after Finn after having a very dangerous pregnancy with him, it was clear she clearly did not care about the risks to her health if she had more. And clearly there was no reason to have so many in the first place. She is mentally ill at this point to have no regard for her children or her financial situation.

Prepare yourselves--some of the tabloidy sites are saying she is most likely pregnant with baby six, and that she could give birth in jail because her financial issues are coming down on her. Now, we know that won't happen most likely but she is probably pregnant. I also noticed her website doesn't come up anywhere near the beginning on a google search, but if you go to it, she has her Christmas card up but as an advertisement for the company that made it, and they sponsored her post. So further proof she can't afford her website updates anymore....

Yes she does that for all pictures, even family pics, and it looks ridiculous. I can see if she was a huge person and had an angle that made her look larger or something, but that is not the case for her.

Nothing really to add. But I have really disliked the last few episodes because it was all about Ben and Chrissy over and over again. So last night was just unreal to see not only how much that continued but to end on the note that the person that wins immunity at the end basically gets an advantage that can cause them to lose the game. You know she didn't want Ben there, and that she had a better chance without him (and I am not a fan of her at all, but just felt this was completely unfair). I hate that Devon was in that alliance and had to be sacrificed when he had earned his way to the end by being in that alliance. I think this is definitely one of my least favorite Survivor seasons ever. Basically any player I ever liked was sacrificed for the Ben and Chrissy show. Ugh.

Haven’t we seen enough of Ben? Do we really need the recap?

I have a sister that age (50s) and she would consider herself more a child of the 70s than 80s. I am the youngest and definitely consider myself an 80s child. So I think he is the perfect age for remembering all the 80s had to offer. From the aspect of a younger child and while growing up.

I will third this post. This season sucks. I hate both Chrissy and Ben and it seems to be all about them.

This episode was very strange--I had read comments before watching, and you all were right. I do find Ryan's family just totally dysfunctional at this point. I guess I don't understand what they are expecting. Their child (Ryan) has been doing drugs for years, luckily had a mother to provide primary care (even though she isn't perfect she does provide a good home base), and they complain and complain about what Ryan should get-- and this is when he gets home straight from rehab. They must be clueless, as they should be glad Bentley had a parent (actually two with Macy's husband), especially when Bentley's father, their son, can't get his crap together. And he bothers to complain that Bentley has responsibilities....as you have all said, clearly Ryan could have benefitted from the same. And Larry is just crazy now. Mac sits there like she isn't sure what to do now...she wants to complain about Macy but I think she is starting to see the crazy in the family and exactly what life she signed up for. Jen is lost, and isn't helping much. I am glad Bentley doesn't go over there all that much...as he gets older this kind of behavior will just stand out more and more to him. That all said, I did find Maci's drinking in the hot tub a bit unsettling. If she can't keep the drinks out of her hands while taping, to at least pretend she doesn't drink much, then she must drink a fair amount.

I also found it redundant that both visits from Erica’s brothers involved singing at some party at the end of the episode. That is not a normal happening much less to have it in two episodes.

So taking care of the kids they already had could not be the way to rebuild their marriage? You have to have another baby to do that? Ridiculous, and only proves they still have major problems if they believe that sort of thing. How would that make all of the other kids feel? Like they weren't enough to make the marriage work?

After seeing her texting and sitting all casually while driving in this episode, I was starting to get really annoyed with her as well, and feeling less trusting of her in general.

I knew I should have left that sentence out...it wasn't the focus of what I was posting.... I was focusing on the alcohol part of it all. I only added that sentence to say that as someone that doesn't normally get involved in the Maci hate, even I can easily agree there is some sort of alcohol issue. Just posting this as I know why so many people hate her, I just don't personally feel so strongly about it.

I thought Farrah did pretty well at her birthday party to deflect her mom and mom's boyfriend. I do think that Debra always messes things up when they get together....she does that sappy, I miss you thing, etc, instead of just hanging out and having fun. It gets weird when people get over sentimental all of the time...sometimes you don't know what to say, and we all know Farrah doesn't really know how to respond to that. I think Michael understands how to be around Farrah much better....

I agree with this. I think Maci is pretty harmless and never fully understand all of the Maci hate, however over time I do agree that if she didn't have an issue with alcohol she would be drinking less of it by now... typically when you have a family, are busy with kids, etc, alcohol plays a much smaller role no matter how young you are (and still close to the party age). You grow out of the "party" stage much more quickly than that if you have a normal relationship with alcohol, and have a family to keep you busy. And of course I didn't agree with her drinking so much while pregnant. The fact that they have alcohol sitting around at all times of the day and on a regular basis is just kind of strange. Most people just don't do that--they have a drink out at dinner, or maybe occasional wine or beer at home, not bud light cans being a permanent decor in their home.

For some reason the lasik wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be but I completely understand! I agree about the tattoo that my concern would be them slipping. I wouldn’t do it. For some reason it goes on quickly but like anything it can be different for everyone depending on the product and look you are trying to achieve. Hope it goes faster over time!

Does anyone here do the eyeliner tattoo? Leah’s post reminded me of someone I know that does that. I would not trust someone to get that close to my eye that isn’t a trained physician (I have had lasik and was ok with that because the surgeon had done many surgeries). This person doesn’t even wear makeup so I have no idea why she does the eyeliner. Plus she acts like it is such a timesaver. It only takes me 30 seconds to put it on and I can change colors.

Yes, I wish they would leave Julianne off, and just let her disappear. The fact they introduced her like that in the beginning was way too much...she looks like she thinks she is all that, when I have not missed her a bit this year, lol. I feel the other judges should get intros like that if they are going to do that at all.... I never like Julianne or Derek's contemporary dances they do on these shows...they all look the same to me.

After the last couple of seasons with the constant changes and switchups and surprises, this season is boring me to tears. Every time someone leaves it seems it is someone I actually like, leaving me with fewer and fewer ones I like. I don't understand half of their votes, they don't really seem to be doing anything interesting, I still hardly know any of them, ugh.

Season 8 Finale Special - Check Up w/Dr. Drew Part 1
alexa replied to GreatKazu's topic in Teen Mom 2
I don't think she will have any issues financially. I know of many people that have a lot of kids, with much less money and they seem to do fine/figure it out. I am talking about the responsible types, which I think Chelsea and Cole are, not the kind that have kids but truly can't afford them. I thought the same thing about Janelle. In fact I was surprised at how "polite" she was when she said to Dr. Drew that she would be right back. She didn't seem upset at all, and ready to go on with the show. That is what made David look so bad...she wasn't even upset or mad, and she was the one on the stage, but yet he had to act like a 3 year old. I never stand up for Janelle, but I did notice she actually was okay in this situation. -
Season 8 Finale Special - Check Up w/Dr. Drew Part 1

I guess we are total opposites here. I think I have seen enough of Janelle to know the truth. She shows it all of the time. I would be sad for Jace if she had the key role in his therapy. Then the poor kid would feel like nobody believes him as Janelle would pretend that Jace loves David and being at their house. Barb may be emotional but she is loving and a safe bet for Jace. He can see the difference. As for the guy on the boat, she was joking about how when they were doing her special how she was supposed to say something she might want, and she said how about a guy with a boat--kind of just going with the flow and being funny. Then she said that what happened was these weird guys would say things like the thing about sleeping with him on his boat. She wasn't saying that she was truly looking for a man with a boat as a serious thing. As for Jace needing a man in his life, how do you think all of those single moms out there do it? There are many wonderful teens that are a product of a single parent, and in many ways some of them are even more kind and respectful because they know how hard the single parent works.- 353 replies

I also find Barb's friend very troubling. First of all she isn't a friend...just the way she talks to her is not a person that is supportive in a friend sort of way. Even if a friend disagrees with you, they would also understand where you are coming from. There is no way this "friend" can see all that has happened to Barb, etc, and just say that sort of stuff to her, and actually be a friend. She could have said, Barb, I understand why this is so heartbreaking for you, but unfortunately the only thing to turn it around is by doing a, b, and c, but I understand why you might not want to do that.... etc. Did you see David look at himself in the mirror and smile (when he had his tux/suit on)? That was weird. Marissa did look miserable that day. I think Jace and Kaiser pretended a little better, but she could not hide her distaste.
