  1. How are they fitting all of those in from February to "spring" where they say Magnum will come back on? I am so confused. lol
  2. I am guessing because otherwise why would it be so short? Our household liked MacGyver though, so we will miss it (and do right now as well).
  3. CBS update for MacGyver--super short season ahead: if MacGyver is going to end soon enough to allow Magnum to continue--given that this is starting in February, means there can't be that many episodes of Mac. MACGYVER, a reimagining of the classic series starring Lucas Till in the title role, Tristin Mays, Justin Hires, Meredith Eaton, Levy Tran and Henry Ian Cusick, returns for its fourth season Friday, Feb. 7 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). The same night, HAWAII FIVE-0 moves to its new time period (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT). MAGNUM P.I. will return in the spring after MACGYVER concludes its season run.
  4. Here is your answer (from a cbs update)--see below. The only thing that makes no sense to me is that Magnum would have had close to a full season under its belt by February-- so for it to return after MacGyver finishes its season in the spring, makes no sense--since MacGyver is starting so late in February. That is the shortest season ever for an existing show that was renewed and doing okay in the ratings. Anyway, well good for Magnum, kind of a bummer for MacGyver (I like both shows). 5. The thing I like about the remaining dancers, now that we have gotten rid of Sean, is that none of them have a huge voting block. It will be more about the general audience thoughts on who they like, who they enjoy watching, etc. As for Ally, I think it won't matter if they keep her scores high, as the scores are all relatively high, and I don't think she has the votes they want her to have.
  6. I don’t know what the answer is but I am so glad MacGyver is coming back. I wish they hadn’t sacrificed one for the other and had put both somewhere on the schedule. My guess is that they will do a shorter season with fewer repeats than normal.
  7. I didn't care for it at all. And yes you are probably right about the ratings, but regardless Tori thinks it was ratings gold, lol. I am pretty sure if the show continues, it will just lose viewers over time and not last all that long.
  8. I agree. I think that too. Because many of them want to get the rental income at the highest point of the year, which means they basically will not be using it much. But even if you are blocking out your dates, I still think at that point it is just an investment because it really isn't your home at that point (you might as well stay at someone else's house and not have to do all of the work to keep up the home for renters). lol
  9. I am late to this thread as I never knew there was one for this show, lol. I watch every new episode, and I, too, always think of the hurricanes when watching this show. I think how nice it would be to have a beach house, until a hurricane comes and some areas are constantly rebuilding. My only other issue with this show is that so many of the people claim they are buying the house so their family has a place to go, but then they also want a rental. You can't realistically do both--in other words--if you are renting it out on the regular you aren't going to get much use out of it. Plus at that point it is more like staying at someone else's house as you are sharing your home with a bunch of strangers. At that point, I would have no interest in buying a home/paying for the upkeep to then not fully enjoy my home knowing that who knows what went on there. For me it is either a rental for investment or you have the home solely for your family to use as a real home.
  10. I am liking the partnership with Magnum/Higgins and Katsumoto this year. It makes it much more interesting than last season when they had the same storyline of Katsu getting frustrated with Magnum even though he was the one to solve the case. I like the three of them working together. I also like the extended endings that allows a personal storyline for each of the characters. I like when the storyline wraps up a little early to allow for some character development.
  11. I could have been imagining things, but on Friday's show, she seemed much more restrained as if she was purposely trying to "talk" versus yell. Perhaps she has been told to wind it down a bit, lol.
  12. She has a post about BH90210 on her instagram, stating it was the highest rated summer show. It seems like the ratings were just okay and not what they hoped for. Was it really the highest rated because I am not certain that is true.
  13. She looks terrified. The way he is pulling her in like he is reminding her who is in control, and she is fake smiling.
  14. I saw bits and pieces and could only wonder, why did they waste their time with this nonsense? It was pretty bad.
  15. I just miss the days of competitive dancing, where you had a lot of people hitting it, and the poor dancers gradually disappeared. There are a few good ones left, but they will be eliminated before Sean, so we will be left with his remedial stomping around in the finale. That will be great. Well, DWTS, this one is on you.... you knew that would happen, and his appearance is only bring votes not the viewers you hoped for. The last I saw Sean was a person that people made fun of on SNL, not some highly popular person.
  16. So today, she actually kind of has a cute outfit on. She looks so much better in this kind of thing, imo.
  17. I am guessing it was the one that Tori and Jennie were doing for 90210? I know they had to cancel some venues for lack of interest, but I haven't kept up with it.
  18. I always wondered why they marked the other guy so low every week ( I don't even remember which one--but he is voted out now! lol ), and not Sean. I mean they are pretty much the same. Maybe at the time they thought Sean was trying harder, but they should see that he hasn't really had any improvement, so low scores would match his effort. Maybe at this point, they should just look for ringers and only bring on people that have a chance at being able to dance. At least that way whoever won could actually dance well, even if they weren't the most popular for everyone. It would be kind of fun to have a season where everyone knocked it out of the park (instead of hanging on to so many that are just kind of blah).
  19. Are we sure Lauren could win this? Even with the previous winner considered, she isn't that attention grabbing, or at least not for me. I don't know, I tend to ignore her dances for whatever reason--not intentionally, but I just don't see that she could be getting the bulk of the votes (outside of the Spicer possibility--which he could be getting the stupid people votes).
  20. I honestly don't feel bad for Andrew for being stuck in Indiana, at least temporarily. He absolutely knew what he was getting into, and chose to have a child with her. Both the hooking up with her and the child could have been prevented, like many other people have managed to do. So despite what he went through, part of this is on him. He had the blessing of having tons of info out there on her to know he wasn't getting a good one.
  21. I agree. Jenelle isn't the only issue. The issue is that this show is still on to help keep money flowing in pockets that don't deserve it or use it wisely. They also don't learn from their mistakes (well, most of them). I am glad I stopped watching years ago...it is good for your health, lol!
  22. Does she still have her hair products? It seems she has been quiet about that?
  23. The Halloween episode was a fun one. I liked all of the various stories, and that it ended like a 80s horror flick. Lol
  24. I totally agree about some of the segments on Ellen's show! The only reason we have it on, is to avoid Dr. Phil! lol But I don't watch Ellen's show closely, and typically only make fun about how everyone screams like they did on Oprah's show.
