  1. Now my IG feed is inundated with gorgeous Scotland pics. I don’t mind it!
  2. One of my friends who is usually in my traveling group had her interview during international travel lockdown. She said it took longer to drive to the airport (about 30 minutes each way) for the interview compared to how long the actual interview lasted! She said it was a great experience because there were ZERO people in the international terminal and she just breezed right through. She already had a precheck ID number so they assigned a new one with global entry. I also have a precheck number but it sounds like global entry is worth it. Please give us a recap of your trip when you return. Safe travels!!
  3. Have a wonderful trip! We are talking about Scotland for next year! I can’t wait to hear all about it. Did you get global entry for going thru customs when you get home? I hear it makes the process one million times faster and easier. When we returned from London in 2018, customs was a freaking nightmare so we will probably sign up for global entry. I think the entire process takes about a month or so.
  4. I agree. I have visited at least 25 US states (probably more) and enjoyed something about all of them, but wouldn’t want to move away from where I live now. I couldn’t say that I hate any state. In fact, we stayed at Rosemary Beach, FL for a week a few months ago and it was wonderful. We’re planning another trip back. I don’t get the Florida hate. 😥
  5. PGA suspends members and former members who are playing in LIV events. https://www.espn.com/golf/story/_/id/34063037/pga-tour-suspends-all-players-taking-part-first-liv-golf-tournament
  6. I’ve only watched episode 1, but I do not miss Tom one bit. Liam is not as irritating without Tom. The new co-host is ok. I can live with them…..so far! Tom and Liam together made me want to stab my eardrums. I love the French guys, David and Cydrick. I think I’m going to like the winning team but I still don’t know everyone’s name yet. The right team went home. Glad to have the show back!
  7. I’m watching the arrivals for the Thanksgiving service for the Queen at St Paul’s and our lovely Harry Eastwood just arrived! I tried to attach a pic but the image was too large. I’ll see if I can find one on her social media after it’s over.
  8. Oooh! New emojis to play with it! Cool!
  9. I wonder if when you have to restrain Mo for his safety, perhaps using a harness clipped to the lead so that he can’t bust out? In general, I’ve used harnesses for my pups for better control (no matter their size or weight) and so they couldn’t bust out of their collars. I love cukes and tomatoes together. I buy the English cukes that have almost no seeds. And the only two things I like about summertime are the amazing tomatoes and peaches! Now back to watching the Jubilee! I adore all this pomp and circumstance stuff.

Because we could all use a smile, here’s Roger with the new family dog.
  11. When I’m going to cook a chicken breast, I put it in a baggie, take out my rolling pin and tenderize the chicken with some gentle bashing. I’ll usually throw some spices in the baggie too so I can bash those into the breast. You could use any implement that has a little weight if you don’t have a rolling pin. I often sauté panko breaded chicken cutlets and the rolling pin method makes them so tender and flattens it down a bit.
  12. Nancy’s IG post popped up on my feed and there was a pic of her and Jesse and she said they’re in Knoxville filming Holiday BC right now. So thank God that Jesse will be back!
  13. I remember drinking Tang once in a while when I was a wee lass but I didn’t like it then and now it makes me shudder. Should have left it on the moon. Also, too many chemicals/preservatives in it. If you want a citrus or orangey hint, go natural! Grated peel or a few drops in a slurry?? I wasn’t a fan of Kool Aid either.

  15. I have to ask if you are thoroughly washing all fruits and vegetables before cooking them, using them in soups, etc., or eating raw? Even fruits and veg that you peel to use? I know that just water and a vegetable brush is sufficient but I also use a spray vegetable wash and I can tell such a difference after washing! I even wash bagged salads that say they’ve been washed. I don’t trust them and I go ahead and wash them before using/consuming. I’m not saying this is causing your tummy aches but it might aggravate the issue. I shudder to think of the people germs and/or fertilizers on produce.
  16. Way back before I had Honey, I had two other dogs simultaneously. One day I had my many bags of groceries in the back seat where the dogs would have been. An idiot ran a stop sign in my neighborhood and I had to slam, and I mean SLAM on my brakes, to avoid a collision. It was a matter of inches or we would have had a terrible wreck. My groceries flew all over the car even though there was no collision. It took me many minutes to calm down because I kept thinking about what if my furry boys had been in the back. The next day I bought harnesses that had a seat belt loop. They loved them and knew to pose like good boys to have them put on! Then when I got Honey, she always wore a seat belt harness in the car.
  17. Those bananas have too many brown spots for me. I like bananas where the stem end is still a tad green. Beyond that point, they’re too sweet. That’s why I buy 2 at a time.
  18. Diego’s IG page popped up for me today and wow, he has some amazing creations pictured. His page is chefdiegocr84.
  19. Oh, I miss my mom too! She would have been 95 in July.
  20. And what is the name of this adorable pup?
  21. What do you click to read an IG story? I’m on his IG page and see his posts but stories?
