When Jessa got married she dropped best friend Jinger like a hot potato. IIRC Jinger was a miserable mess until Jessa saw fit to set her up w/Jer. Marrieds can't risk stirring up feelings in singles that cannot be righteously fulfilled.

You would think the Duggars would release a statement regarding the Josh/Dollar General allegations. Something like, 'We thank all our supporters for their recent concern regarding our son Josh. Please know that Josh is not a suspect nor has he ever been a suspect in the theft of a store employee's belongings. Please direct all further inquiries to the Springdale PD. Once again, we thank you for your support and concern.' The radio silence really makes me question if something is going on.

My understanding is all Derick has to do to get around the covenant marriage thing is take up residence in one of the 47 other states that don't recognize it. As far as the kids, KJB would NEVER let his grand spawn be taken away! An 8lb 11oz baby? In the superbowl party pic just hours prior to the birth Jessa looks maybe 5-6 months. The pic and the quick 'post party birth' made me wonder if she really gave birth a few days prior and her belly was just he post-pregnancy paunch. I'm suspicious bc it was a Monday and the new Counting On airs on Monday. Don't they usually coordinate announcements with show airing days?

I'm wondering if TLC actually plans to reveal Derick's medical problem or if it's just a promo tease to pull in viewers. Not that I want the guy to be deathly ill or anything, but if he's at the dr for a run of the mill cold, vaccination or simple check up I'm going to be pissed.

On why KJB would deed a house to 16yo Jason, maybe bc Jason is still under KJB's thumb and is easy to control. Why else skip over JD, Joe, Si & some other random Js in favor of Jason? Gotta keep the control.

I hate to be the one to point this out. TLC previously devoted an entire episode to Jill's wedding party choosing shoes. Not even dresses, just shoes. The yawn fest has only begun.

I agree. It's so 'after the fact' that who really cares at this point? We already know what the dress looked like, we know what the church looked like, we know who was in the wedding party & what they wore, we know what shitty food they served...and on and on... yawn!

If it's a girl I could see them naming her Faith, Grace or Noel, not because the names are pretty or anything, but because they prayed & prayed & believed God would NEVER give them a Zika baby. Yup, they're just that arrogant.
