  1. Tommy Lee retweeted this expletive-filled anti-Trump rant , but everyone thinks that he wrote it:. Whoopi has never been an Accuraccy devotee. In other Twitter News, someone is getting raked over the coals for repeating Whoopi's mistake in not realizing Dr. Jill Biden isn't a medical doctor. They argued that she shouldn't be called "Doctor" because she *only* has a Ph.D. Whoopi's name keeps coming up in the discussion. This is the kind of thing that annoys me. Whoopi just seems to value attendance over competence. She could and should do better. Most important political blah blah blah.
  2. What?! Did she apologize to her American flag for supporting the reigning British monarch?! Lol 😊 Maybe Meghan is mellowing out.
  3. Loved "Quack Pack" and the old-school Duck Tales outfits! Dewey was made for a studio audience. Goofy! Also: humans are terrifying.
  4. Part of me loves that RHOA is the show that runs on Hangrer.
  5. Per Brian Moylan's rule, I'm withholding judgment of Leah for five episodes. She came in a little too strong for me, but we'll see. I rolled my eyes at "What's Jovani?" Bullshit. No one's going to come onto a Real Housewives cast without watching a previous season or two. You have four more episodes to get me on Team Leah, New Girl. And even then, I may abandon you for someone more likeable. Can we make Martin a "friend of"? Imagine him at one of Luann's or Sonja's caburlesquevaudville thingies. Wait, what? Annnnd now I have a Google project for the day. So it looks like Tinsley has Leah as her Big Sister. Tinsley always seems the most comfortable as a sidekick. I hope it works out for her; I never liked Sonja's envious condescension towards Tinsley.
  6. Yeah. Meghan wishes she was a cool as Edna. I don't think I've seen an entire episode of The View in two weeks, and I'm okay with that. Cuomo likes the 10:30-11:30 timeslot for his conferences. I was highly entertained at the Cuomo brothers' banter about Chris's fever dreams. Then again, it's just as bad when they're in the studio. The cohosts often make weird segues or give intros for clips that aren't there or talk back to the producer voices in their ears. So the added aspect of video delay is just more of the same.
  7. These women have a tendency to grab onto a word or phrase (ex. politicizing, intellectually dishonest, journalists making themselves part of the story, etc) that's floating in the politisphere and use it inappropriately. Today, Sunny starts with the politicizing crap. As you noted, Senator Sanders has been banging that drum for years. Also, he is a sitting senator and still running for president; there's no way for him to NOT be political about this What's he supposed to say, "We should all wait for the sick to either die or get better before we talk about how to treat them?!". VP Biden doesn't currently hold office, yet the ladies have not criticized him for his messages and ideas.
  8. I have disagreed with Gov. Cuomo in the past, but I'm grateful for a) his leadership during this pandemic b) his interruption of Newt Gingrich's blather.
  9. I hope for Tara Setmeyer, but Meghan would implode.
  10. My personal theory is that Gov. Cuomo keeps pre-empting The View because he's trying to tell the hosts that they are non-essential. Thank goodness he stopped in time for "View Your Deal." **eyeroll** If ABC was smarter, they'd arrange for deals on toilet paper and milk.
  11. I loved that book! I read it, got my sister to read it, and then we talked about how crazy it was.
  12. I genuinely wished her congratulations on Twitter. I hope all goes well. That said, how much do you want to bet that Meghan positions herself has a hero battling the "stigma" around pregnancy? Even so, I wish them the best. Let's hope that little Liberty "Libby" Johanna, John "JB" Benjamin, or Madison "Mac" McCain Domenech shows them how to lighten up.
  13. I liked the relationship discussion on the way to the wine tasting. I didn't agree with everybody, but it was good to see them talking like adults. I guess Nene used up all her goodwill after the relationship talk and making up with Portia. Yes, Cynthia tolerates a lot of crap from Kenya. But if Cynthia wants to give Kenya slack because she's going through a divorce, who cares? Nene does that thing where she repeats herself in an argument and then breaks out the low blows--remember "your clit has left your body"?--so of course she's going to come for Kenya's marriage. Kenya doesn't deserve to be mistreated by Marc, but I'll accept Housewives Vacation Dramatics. If Nene hadn't brought up Marc, the fight might have helped take everyone's mind off of the serious stuff. P.S. "Clearing the air" discussions never end well. P.P.S Kandi's impression of Porsha and Nene's sisterfest was hilarious.
  14. Exactly. Apparently, Dana Loesch is afriendofMeghan's, although they had a rather tedious Twitter fight in 2014.
  15. Like death and taxes, View Your Deal is an inevitable.
  16. Is it my imagination, or are Meghan's extensions a different color than her hair? Also, I missed the first segment. Did Whoopi explain the hat? Her Bernie impression is even worse than Valley Girl Voice.
  17. Team Elisabeth: not because she's great but because: I don't know who her father is. She doesn't make up words. Less "afriendofmine" Can listen to opposition without scoffing or eyerolling Can discuss non-political non-reality TV topics
  18. She probably thinks he's actually Ron Swanson, the rugged, big-government hating, gun-toting, meat-eating, whiskey-drinking libertarian character he played on Parks and Recreation.
  19. I think it's more likely they'd team up to take down Joy.
  20. Hmm. In NY the show was interrupted by Gov. Cuomo' s strange "participatory " press conference on coronavirus. He's sniffing off-brand hand sanitizer. I'm not even kidding. I'd rather see Whoopi and the ladies talk about it. Good. We're back to Dr. Ashton, who has some sensible information.
  21. This. Tanya's a much bigger person than I am, because I'd have nothing to do with Kenya after she insulted me like that and tried to humiliate me. Nene continues to prove Eva's comment from last season right; if it's not about Nene, she doesn't care. Kenya's a terrible person, but if you're going to offer her the olive branch, don't throw a hissy if she doesn't run to your side right away. How long has Nene been an adult?
  22. Meghan's pearl-clutching is just an excuse for her to demonstrate how More American Than Thou she is. Thus, consensual oral sex in the Oval Office is desecration, but not the slave-owning, warmongering, or cronyism (Andrew Jackson and others) of past Presidents. Read a book, McCain. It was good to see Sara back at the table, though. I forgot that she was a true centrist, and The View could really use someone to push back against the partisanship of the others.
  23. Lol I want to hear if Joy would vote for Meghan if Meghan ran for president. Also: I'm highly annoyed by the Ancestry.com segment. I don't get the logic--to celebrate the 19th Amendment that got women the vote, I'll tell you about your ancestors who were dead when it passed?
  24. Absolutely. I hope he manages to get them to be less underwhelming. None of them seem to be a worthy successor to Sebastian. So much. I loved his gray dress and I know he has serious technical skill, but his pretentious posturing makes Sergio so unlikable. Let's say he wins. Would he really benefit from the CDFA mentorship? You can't help people who think they know it all and are never embarrassed for themselves. If Sergio put more effort into updating the vintage silhouettes he favors, he wouldn't have to tack on a "The More You Know" message to make his fashions worthwhile. Excellent idea about Nancy's design. I thought it was my tv that made me rather indifferent to the skirt/cape reveal, but it probably would have been better in a more vibrant color.
  25. Joy admits to being twitchy!
