Not a professional therapist, but I sure hope at the end of this Amber gets some good, quality, therapy to help her get over her abandonment issues. At her age, she still has time to get herself put together and healthy and find a healthy relationship. Speaking from experience here, dealing with the abandonment of a parent is a rotten thing for anyone. Amber will most likely keep putting herself into unhealthy relationships - and may even end up with someone abusive - because those guys know how to pick women like us. She might trip over a good guy, but she will unwittingly strangle him. Fortunately, I dumped the husband, got help, and found a great man. But it took a long time. I would like to see her skip over the bad stuff and get on to really healing. And I admit I am nowhere near being a germaphobe or picky, BUT - really, who would want to drink a glass of water that had been sitting outside - uncovered - all night. Are the bugs and shmutz that get in there special moon bugs and shmutz that add extra moon power to the water when you drink it? Ick. Well, to be fair, Ben killed a lot of people. I don't love Abigail, but the difference is rather jarring. Ben killed Paige, annoying elephant girl, the midwife, and almost certainly mostly killed Will. Abs sucks, but Ben's sins are a wee bit bigger. That said, RW is quite the charming fellow, and this being a soap, I can, and will forgive and forget. KM, however, is a wet blanket and I don't care if she resurrects Alice Horton, she will still b a pill.

I apologize if I said too much and somehow offended you, Drewpaul, but damn, he brings it all back. That sort of person just... ugh... PTSD. I hope Kate gets some help dealing with the aftermath. I can understand not being attracted to someone to the point of it being sick-inducing. That in no way excuses Luke's horrid, gas-lighting behavior, but it does not necessarily shove him over to the Gay side. I think he is a narcissist, a snob, and a total prig. Whether he likes boys - I don't know - nor care. I do know he treated Kate beyond shabbily from minute one. She was never going to be good enough, but he still needed to demean and possess her. He gave her just barely enough attention and care to make her feel he was in... then he pulled back. He played horrid mind games on her and used sex as a weapon against her. Having lived with an abusive husband for 14 years, I know the signs. Had she not run, within a year he would have been beating her 'for her own good" "hitting her to teach her a lesson", making *her* apologize for it all - because it's her fault she is not good enough. He then comes back, flowers in hand, slightly contrite, but then he forces her to suck his dick or take it rough in the ass whether she likes it or not.. (pardon the graphic, but true) He disgusts me. I hope he finds his own peace and never hurts anyone like this ever again. He makes me sick and is bringing back all kinds of nasty memories.

This was brutal. I was sobbing and could barely breathe through the whole hour. I lived with a Doug, and this brought it all back - 14 years later, it still wrecked me. Beautiful, honestly done. Well played Miss JLH. You were brilliant. I had nightmares, but it was actually cathartic. So well done by a show that sometimes goes a wee overboard.

And for one brief, brilliant season he was amazing as Harry Houdini in Houdini and Doyle.

The cheese on this episode was so thick, I had a wee conga line of mice lined up trying to nibble on the TV. Bless. I have never seen Cody Fern before, but there is something very compelling about him as an actor. He kind of has that 'thing' that is just not something you can nail down, but he is quite intriguing. I imagine he will do great things in the future (if he can get away from RM, ha ha). Honestly, If not for him, I would have stopped this madness 3 episodes in. Dreadful.

Damn you show. You killed Benny - and off-screen to make it even worse. (Poor Severide and the guilt he will be fighting for the next umpteen episodes). I love Treat Williams to ridiculous degree. I only hope this frees him up for a new weekly show. I will miss his occasional visits. Love him to bits. Glad the Gorsch-weasel plot is finally over. The writers really need to get over this whole '51 in danger of being split up thing' lather/rinse/repeat. There is enough built in drama with the fires, rescues, and the relationships ... there really is no need to threaten Boden/the gang/the station every damn season. Please, just stop!

I felt like I was at the damn dentist for two hours... Amber and all of her 'fillings'. I call BS on this whole thing. I hope Danielle and Bobby really make it, but we know the other two couples are doomed as hell.

BF (and LK) both wear clothes very, very well. So I admit I am a few days behind, (well, 10 actually) but I damn near peed myself when Dee as Hattie was dancing. I swear, her favorite movie must be the same as mine... Big Man on Campus. Skip to 1.15 - I promise it's worth a peek. Funniest movie ever.

And frankly, I miss those days. I am not a fan of bathroom humor or seeing people on toilets at all. Yes, everyone does it, but honestly TMI for adverts.
