  1. I was wondering about the repeats as well. I think these shows are taped a day in advance of the airing. So it should have been ready to go.
  2. This was a really good episode. Creepy and suspenseful and no romantic entanglements - except for Joe and Jenny, but I like them together. The Daniel Boone segment kind of changed the episode, but I can't complain. The writers didn't use Betsy this week. Maybe they are realizing that it is better to use different characters. No stupid texting either. Not even a mention of the Zoe the dull interest.
  3. I'm so sorry, Daisy. I know how painful this is for you. He was lucky to have you and that you didn't want him to suffer.
  4. Oh great! The Minneapolis Supernatural convention and the Star Trek 50th anniversary convention are both in August. I don't think I can afford two conventions. I'm extending things just going to one convention.
  5. I just read that JDM is going to be on the Walking Dead. I'm glad he's getting work. I quit watching that show a couple of seasons ago. I didn't like the arc with the governor. I don't really want to start watching again. It would be nice if he could fit an appearance on Supernatural into his busy schedule.
  6. I was passively watching the credits. I rewound to see if her name was still there. It wasn't.
  7. The Soup needs to stop these theme shows. Just do the regular format. That's what they do best. Except for a couple of HJO bits, this episode was nearly un-watchable.
  8. Was that Henry on tonight's episode of Elementary?
  9. This is the first time I've seen Sleepy Hollow trending, so that might be a good sign. Or possibly not. I was glad to see it. It gives me hope. I was worried for a minute that since the sheriff is dead they would start a defamation of character. Shows like to do that with dead characters and I didn't want them to go there. it was a little awkward with Pandora disappearing into the tree and then the time jump with Ichabod and Abby back out in the daylight. I'm getting a "Just stand there and look pretty" vibe with Betsy now. The show is not going to work with Zoe either. With all that's going on in Sleepy Hollow, I'm not even sure why Ichabod is pursuing anyone. At least Abby isn't tangled up with anyone right now. Neither one could be honest with who they would be seeing. Abby couldn't even tell Danny what what really happened to him. Zoe is going to turn out to be some sort of informant or tool for the dark side.
  10. I would have accepted Barry and Felicity getting together. I thought they were good together on Arrow. I am so happy to see Harrison Wells again. I don't care if he's a dick. I loved the "Crisco" line. How much of a time jump have we gone through? I thought Caitlin's husband just died. She's already hitting on some new guy. That was a pretty fast turn around.
  11. No. I'm not a fan of Iris either. Patty's character is just bland and not necessary. I want her to go too.
  12. I find it odd that Adelind would want to name her baby after the woman who killed her mother. I know they didn't get along or that she really cared all that much that she was dead, but it is still kind of strange. Also, I don't know why she would want to do something that nice for Nick. Is Adelind starting to turn good or does she have some future manipulative plan that will get foiled? Adelind is currently the most hapless villain on TV. She has failed miserably in all her plots - except her ability to rape people and get pregnant by two of her victims. Although I'm not sure if baby Kelly is really hers.
  13. I think the baby is going to be Nick and Juliette's. It got switched when they were doing the body swapping. I'm pretty sure Juliette isn't dead. No body no death. I think Theresa shot her just to knock her out. I think the screaming thing is Theresa. If it was Juliette, someone else would have done the screaming for her. I don't think she's a good enough actress to even do a convincing scream. My most prevalent thought was - If Juliette is still alive - fuck you, show. I'm out. Juliette's character was a mistake from the very beginning. I'm still not convinced that Kelly is dead either.
  14. I saw an article about Samhain yesterday and decided that today would be a good day to start the re-watch on Netflix. I got held up by the Doctor Who marathon that was on my TV when I turned it on, but managed to break away because I can't stand to watch Clara and Danny Pink's first date again.
  15. Bill Irwin was in this episode? I must have missed his name in the credits. This was a much better episode than the Bones episode. I think Hodgins might have been a better fit though and he could have actually spent some time in Sleepy Hollow. Which also made me wonder, where is Sleepy Hollow that Ichabod and Abby can just drive over to the Jeffersonian when they need to? I find Zoe totally uninteresting, but those photos gave me a stalker vibe. She was dressed as Betsy Ross. With people commenting that they think Pandora and BR are the same person. I would almost go with Zoe and Betsy having some connection instead. Just because the Betsy Ross costume was a little too much. She looked more like freaking Little Bo Peep. I like the Greek fire weapons and the special effects of the soldiers disintegrating.
  16. I found the acting in this episode kind of stiff and awkward. I missed something. I didn't understand how they could match a face in the historic archives without a skull. It was convenient that Ichabod just left his notes lying around so Angela could compare handwriting. I didn't get much out of this episode. It has to stand on its own in order to watch it in repeats/syndication without the Sleepy Hollow episode. I just didn't find the main murder story very interesting.
  17. I loved this episode. I haven't loved an episode in a long time. The only thing that could have been a bigger impact was if they had managed to get JDM instead of Matthew Cohen. It is probably just me, but I associate the older John Winchester more with Sam. If it had been a scene with Dean instead of Sam, it probably wouldn't have occurred to me. Otherwise, things like Castiel talking while Dean was fighting the monster and then using the wipers to fling the head off the windshield was awesome.
  18. I think that bringing in another sister would break up the good dynamic they have with the two Mills Sisters. I think it would be a mistake. This isn't Charmed.
  19. At this point the I think an ichabod/Abby relationship would seem kind of forced. I like the two of them working together, but I don't see the romantic chemistry. I don't see it with Ichabod and anyone else either. The Betsy Wetsy thing is kind of forced. I think if those two had a thing, they could have just kept mentioning it in passing rather than bringing in a useless character. That's why I don't mind the texting. We don't have to actually see Zoe. I thought it was more interesting in earlier seasons when they chose different historical figures for Ichabod to interact with, rather than just Betsy. They didn't need her for the Paul Revere scene. Plus they gave Betsy relatives which made no sense all. Did her brother or sister time travel with her. Additionally, since she got them into this mess, is that why she has to watch the kids? I agree with the final scene with Betsy was just Ichabod being loopy. I was kind of surprised as well with the kissing out in the open, With the modern speech and the kissing, nothing about that scene seemed right.
  20. I had to look up Tony Todd. He looked familiar. I read his IMDB page. He has made appearances in pretty much every series I've watched. Most recently, I found 'Chuck' on Netflix. I had no idea he was Kurn on Star Trek. He certainly has a had a background in horror/supernatural/Sci-Fi type shows. I loved the character of Worf as well. I am always happy to see Michael Dorn show up on something I'm watching. The last time I saw him on anything I watch, was when he was a guest on Castle for a couple of episodes.
  21. I think if they have to write Betsy as a time traveler, it would only explain one thing - why she sound so out of place. They would have to explain how she got any relatives at all and why she looks after them. Also, who looks after them while she's fumbling around trying to be a spy for George Washington. If they had found an actress who could sound like she fits in, it would have been more of a surprise. I think the producers know she's not working out and that's why her role has been so reduced. I wouldn't care if they dropped the character without any explanation, but I suppose they have to find a way to phase her out. The worst thing they could do is bring her to the present time as competition for Zoe. I may be one of the few who found Zoe very uninteresting and I'm bored with that angle. The texting is kind of funny, but as long as she stays off screen, I'm okay with her.
  22. With so little screen time in the last couple of episodes, I was starting to think that Betsy Wetsy was on her way out. After that last scene I'm not so sure. Her presence takes me right out of the show. I also want to know about the niece and nephew. Where were the parents and why was she looking after them? It was a good episode. It started out looking like an early episode of Supernatural, but they changed it up pretty well. They did a good job with the monster. I really like the interaction between the Mills Sisters.
  23. I offer grocery shopping as part of my service. I assume it would be much cheaper to order on line and have the groceries delivered, but not everyone wants to order off of the internet. I can't compete with online delivery prices.
