  1. Saw it and really enjoyed it. Did not expect the captain to die so viciously, wish they had found a way to save him. Also making Mike's son a serial murderer didn't sit well with me, I do wonder what he meant in the end scene about paying down the debt. I wonder if that is a tie to a sequel It was fun, nice seeing the boys back together again and also REGGIE!!
  2. I read the books YEARS ago so have forgotten the details of the plot. For example, did not recall that Asriel essentially did the same thing Mrs. Coulter was doing for his own end. Very sad to see Roger go like that. Another question, did Asriel go to our world? If he did then I assume a man walking around with a snow leopard would attract attention. Since the other dude's daemon is a snake, that you can hide but a leopard I assume would get locked up? Yeah I also wonder what daemon's do when their humans are being intimate?? Love the kid who plays Will, can't wait to see how he reacts to the other worlds. I assume his mother has some knowledge, hence her mental frailty. I thought this started off a bit slow, didn't really pick up for me until episode 4, but ended strong. Looking forward to next season.
  3. Just saw this movie today, I really really enjoyed it. I have no issues believing that Rey was Palpatine's grandchild, I am probably one of the few people who really liked that particular twist. Emperor Palpatine was also human at some point in time so it's believable that he may have been married with children. I didn't find any difficulty believing how he still lived, artificial means and the dark side of the force. Loved all the fight scenes, loved when regular people showed up. Loved the interactions between the main trio and yes I liked the kiss. Ben had to die so this was a fitting arc and end to him. Wish they had explained the dyad a bit more, Palpatine made a comment that this type of connection hadn't been seen in a very long time, so I assume it was rare. ETA: Chewie’s grief over Leía was heartbreaking
  4. Saw it today and enjoyed it. I did figure a part of the plot point, that Dani was the savior. Loved Linda Hamilton in this, she did a great job and yes I enjoyed seeing Arnold and figured he would die in the end. Also loved the new Terminator and the double body concept.
  5. Saw it today, really enjoyed it. Although I was a bit confused, I thought it was said that Maleficent had control over life and death, I thought she would be able to bring the other fairies back to life but I guess it meant her own life.
  6. I’m watching. But slowly lol. This season is a dud. Only thing I liked was Amanda and Jordon’s wedding and getting introduced to Bumpman. I also respect Bri a lot, she always has her kids with her.
  7. I like Sarge actually. I do think he is cocky but I assume that will get dealt with as the series progresses. Thunk Gregg is doing a great job with the role. Mack and Yo-yo not being together makes no sense. Hopefully this gets tabled soon. Glad FitzSimmons are finally going home. I was getting tired of the always in danger angle.
  8. Glad Yvie won. Agree that none of the lip syncs were gag worthy. I didn’t know why Yvie’s first lip sync outfit had 10 million muppets on it and it limited our ability to appreciate her movements. Silky had too many reveals and it was still a mess. Brooke needed a lot (A LOT) more stank. She had a second with the split booty bounce but she should’ve done that more. For some reason Papa Oddly touched me, so supportive of Yvie, wearing the t shirt and making his motorcycle buddies watch Yvie. Maybe it’s because he looked a bit straight-laced. Congrats Yvie, you were my pick!!!
  9. So I just watched the episode and you know what, I liked it! Pity Jon and Danaerys didn’t have more chemistry, then I would have felt something when he had to kill her. No one cared who Danaerys killed in the past seasons since they were evil, I really liked how l Tyrion made a good argument using these points Felt bad for Drogon though, he’s lost his siblings and his mother. So the Stark’s are left standing at the end, seems appropriate. Loved all their endings, felt and that Jon had to go to the nights watch but he left with the wildlings. He will be happy. Loved seeing Ghost again and didn’t realize he had lost an ear I guess Bran knew he would be King Loved Brienne finishing Jaime’d story and Bronn as Master of Coin just seems so appropriate I will honestly say that I will miss this show, I do think the last season was rushed but I loved this show and I’m good with the ending.
  10. Can’t wait. Hopefully this gets its own forum.
  11. I guess I am the only one who isn't surprised Dany ended up here but they got there in the worst possible way, that it makes no sense. Way too rushed and very anti-climatic. Dany is the product of years of incest, she is used to being admired and now she isn't being admired and the entitled crazy came out. I think she was crazy with grief and not thinking rationally! Tyrion let Jaime out because he wanted to save KL but it didn't work.. Cersei was always a coward, no surprise that she died crying...very unsatisfied with her death..
  12. I don't even know what to think.... Which season was it where Bran or was it Dany had a series of visions, one included the dragon flying over Kings Landing..well we saw that scene tonight. Was it S3?? Cersei died in the most unspectacular way...not happy with that, I really thought Jaime was going to kill her. As hateful as she has been, why did I feel sorry for her when she was saying she wanted her baby to live. As for Jaime, he is my favorite character so I was disappointed that he still is in love with Cersei but darn it if they didn't sell me with those scenes. I am sure many are unhappy with the way the story turned but this was a great episode in terms of cinematography, not so sure about the story though. I am pretty sure they were always going to end up here but they could have gotten there in a much better way...pity we didn't have more episodes to connect the dots Also Arya has to be one of the LUCKIEST mofo's out there..
  13. Okay I agree with all the above comments ! Nina should have won and Silky was a mess in that lip sync. I thought Silky even forgot the words a few times. They should have given Vangie the win but Brooke’s look was amazing. This elimination definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth.
  14. I don't think Daenerys is going mad, this is war and she is using her armed forces which includes dragons. She knows Cersei is ruthless so she has to come at her hard. She's fighting a war and innocents die in war. This show was never going to have a happy ending, I assume something similar will occur in the books in the author ever finishes them. Sansa wasn't being spiteful, she 100% for the North and she didn't like the fact that Jon bent the knee to Dany, if Jon becomes King the North gets its independence and she is Lady of Winterfell. She is being strategic.
  15. This isn't out of character for Dany, in the past when she wanted to burn the city she had someone to hold her back and speak reason. She also fed a man to her Dragons in the past. Forgot which season when she was in Mereen or one of those cities where her plan was to burn it down. Now she has suffered some unbearable losses back to back, she is angry. Maybe if she had time to get over her anger but she is totally torching KL. Also Cersei is a ******, she invited all those innocents in the keep as protection. I haven't read the books but since D&D have an idea how it all ends (from what I heard) I assume the characters will end in the same place but have a different journey to get there. I don't think Dany is going mad Queen, she is angry, hurt and upset. This is war and she is using things at her disposal as anyone would. Her father was burning people for fun is what I understand.
  16. Euron must know the kid isn't his I think Jaime is going back to kill Cersei and die himself, not to side with her. Yeah send Ghost up North, at least he will live. 2 Dragons down..they should have waited and planned better yeah and totally feel cheated from the reaction to Jon's parentage.
  17. I don't even know what to think right now..woah!! But Kings Landing is going to burn based on the look of Dany's face.. Shocked at Rhaegal's death!! Could have used a better goodbye scene between Ghost and Jon Also note that Dany said "what is mine" when talking to Jon..
  18. Now the scene in the first episode had some meaning. Jon commented to Arya that he hadn’t heard her and this was in broad daylight with a quiet atmosphere. That’s was meant to highlight her stealth. It makes total sense to me that she would use that stealth to sneak up on the NK with night cover and a battle raging about.

  20. Just read this on Twitter and didn’t even think of it. The Lord of Light brought Beric back all those times to fulfill his role to protect Arya. Hence why Mel said he fulfilled his purpose. Mel also fulfilled her mission and let herself die.
  21. Totally forgot that Bran gave Arya that dagger ! Also remembering that Mel told Arya that same prophecy in season 3 when they took Gendry!!
  22. I was so tense during this episode I got a headache. Is the second dragon ok?? Can’t remember the name, was it Rhaegal? Poor Drogon getting all those stabs Arya *****Stark! I thought she was going to die.. omg Hard to see but easier with dim lights. AMAZING episode. So many emotions. Was Jon really trying to kill the eight dragon ? Where is Ghost !!
  23. O.M.G!! Did not see that coming you will close BLUE EYES!
  24. I loved that episode purely because of the character beats. We know next week is the big battle, this week we saw the people. Arya and Gendry have chemistry, but I do think she used him a bit. She is attracted but not in love, she may die and wanted to have this one experience. I do think he is the one man she would trust, if he wasn’t around she wouldn’t ask that of someone else. Who knew the Sansa/Theon reunion would be so emotional. I also see familial love, they understand each other in a way that no one else can. Dany did look suprised but she does not know about Sansa and Ramsey. She may view Sansa differently if she knew. Liked that they made up, then they were frosty again. Dany isn’t giving up the North no matter how much she loves Jon. Also interesting that Khal Drogo was referenced, I wonder what that means? Surprised Jon told Dany so soon, she looked as if she had been slapped in the face. Her whole identity has been as heir to the iron throne. LOVED Jaime/Brienne, the knighting gave me all the feels. Also appreciated that Jaime did not cower and basically said that he wasn’t apologizing to either Sansa or Dany. He did what he did. I will take Ghost in the background to no Ghost. Also did Lyanna’s statue always have a direwolf next to it ? Appreciated the scene between Jorah and Lyanna Mormonts and reference to Commander Mormont.
  25. So what was the implication when Dany made the comment about Sansa not respecting her. Was she implying she would kill her? Sansa told her the North is hers and she is being obedient even if she doesn’t like her, so I was confused about that comment. Not liking someone doesn’t mean you don’t respect them. Anyway as Jon said, all irrelevant with the AOTD on their way. Also the Umber kid at the end was creepy!
