  1. Great acting aside, today was embarrassing, these women are grandmothers. They are too mature for this foolishness . Ridge isn’t worth it!!! I wish Brooke hadn’t gone back to destiny… I also wish the friendship was real and lasted longer. Underlying motives aside, it was refreshing.
  2. Just came back from seeing it and I absolutely LOVED it. All the minor changes added to the overall story. Halle’s voice is amazing and I was rocking along to the songs. It’s really a pity so many had an issue with her casting, she really is perfect for the role.
  3. Great discussion and insights all around. The one thing I will say I find annoying is the repetition when I came back. I like the Thomas/Hope possibility but rolled my eyes when the entire episode centered around them - them or people talking about them. It's a tad bit too much. I said - maybe I should just come back when they are in Rome...:) I remember old school B&B had stories that centered around multiple characters - OG Sally, Darla, Clarke.. Do they no longer have a rival fashion house??
  4. Great show. Loved loved loved the Lois and Lana conversation. Also loved the Clark and Lois conversation at the end. Made me tear up.
  5. Always like reading other opinions. Anyway, after a 10+ year break from B&B I’m back for the Thomas/Hope storyline. Saw a clip with the actors and they have chemistry so here I am. Guess I’m the only one hoping they go there and yes I’ve read all the stuff/crimes he pulled. To be honest I just don’t care. Great scenes today with Hope and Liam over the Thomas situation. as for Bridge - that is NOT Bridge, no offense against TK but the chemistry isn’t the same. As an old school die hard Bridge fan, I couldn’t care less if they get back together. God bless KKL though, she putting in the acting with TK but they have no spark. As much as I hated Tridge, I will admit the RM/HT had chemistry. I wish they were serious with Taylor/Brooke friendship. It would’ve been a nice change. Didn’t like Liam 10 years ago and still don’t like him now. Actor is great though. Also can’t believe Lope is still a thing after all these years. Hated that paring years ago too.. ETA: changed shenanigans to stuff/crimes
  6. I knew they would do a final four. Legit annoyed that Mistress is still there.
  7. How old was Amara here? She was born in 2018 so she’s about 5 but seemed 7-8 in the movie? Agree the actress was awesome. I liked that they incorporated ASL, when we saw her at the end of Creed II she had a hearing aid on but I guess they got rid of it. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I was happy it didn’t just end at the fight and we saw them somewhat reconcile at the end. They never explained who Dame was clasping hands with in that prison picture? Couldn’t have been Leon so what was the significance and why did that make Donny know he was being played ?? Overall a nice addition to the Creed series Edit - I just realized the guy that Dame was clasping hands with is the person who attacked Drago..
  8. Yeah I annoyed on Luxx’s behalf. That was so unfair. She did not belong in the bottom as she has been consistent, mistress should’ve been gone. They wanted her gone and used some bs excuse to send her away. I agreed with her when she said she felt slighted!! Anyway you don’t have to win this show to capitalize on the exposure.
  9. So I just watched all the snatch games. The twins confuse me, they mention and unsupportive family get their YouTube channel has them dragging up their straight brother a year ago and showing both their parents who didn’t seem put off by it. Said brother has also gone out with them in drag??? in other news - 😴 of a snatch game.
  10. Emotional ending but hated that they had to be apart. I read the book over 15 years ago so I forgot a lot. I did like Lyra bringing up "if we meet someone, we should be kind and not compare" because really they are young and as we all know, they will fall in love again. You move on from your first love. How long was Will gone? Was it years and why didn't his Daemon get reabsorbed since he is back in his world? That ending with them coming back to the bench got to me *sniff*
  11. See how late I am to this, just watching the episode. Will says that line or something similar once he gets back to the group, so I interpreted that to mean he planned to go back and get Lyra. This was before he noted the magistarium ships
  12. Came back to give some more feedback. I went back to see this a second time I noticed some things I missed the first time. I did not realize that Shuri and Ramonda had cut their hair in mourning. I know Namor was the antagonist here but I found that I appreciated his ruthlessness as a Caribbean person. The fact of the matter is, when a country like Wakanda has that type of resource, they will try to take it. They already touched on it with the conversation about destabilizing Wakanda. Namor has been around a long time, so I totally got his take no prisoners policy. The world knowing that vibranium is in the ocean means are going to come for it and get it by whatever means necessary even that means destroying Talokan. So from Namor's perspective make sure to take no prisoners and I think he had some level of trust in the Wakandans to reveal himself and trust they will keep his secret which they did even with their war. Also really liked Attuma and Namora. Angela did the damn thing here, sad that she is gone but I hope she gets an award, very very powerful. Loved hearing Lupita speak Spanish, didn't realize she was born in Mexico. She looked absolutely gorgeous and I got the significance of 1804, Haiti and naming baby T'Challa Toussaint. Juxtapose that with France trying to steal Vibranium was a brilliant nod to history. Totally made sense that Shuri saw Killmonger, she was in that head space. The underlying comments on Colonialism, I do appreciate Coogler bringing this aspect to the film. ETA - Forgot to mention, you just know they would experiment on the Talokens
  13. Just saw it, I enjoyed it. Felt it was more plot driven and less action but it worked. Angela's speech at the beginning said so much and it lined up nicely with Namor's comment to Namora that the world would come for Wakanda. I was also really happy they didn't kill Namor - I liked him, also he was low key sexy .. Wakanda has a great resource, no way the world will leave them alone.
  14. While I don’t ship Aemond and his sister, I’m surprised he would agree to a betrothal to a Baratheon. Aemond somewhat strikes me as a purist who would want someone with Valeryian blood. Technically his Valeryian blood is already weakened by his mother.
  15. Something I noted on re-watch, we see Jacerys learning high Valeryian in the last episode, yet here it seems as if Lucerys seems to have command of the language?
  16. I am late, just watched the episode Wish we had gotten more of the dragons but my overall reaction Lucerys!! NOOOOOOOO!!😭😭😭😭 I did notice them panning to Rhaena when they mentioned unclaimed dragons, hopefully she gets to claim one soon.. Again Lucerys!! NOOOOOOOO!!😭😭😭😭
  17. So genetics in the show/world is so interesting, or should I say plot driven. Even Aegon's bastards have the white blonde hair, all of Alicent's children have Targaryen features but Rhaenyra's three sons with a non-Targ/Valaryan has Strong features...
  18. Also notice she was wearing armor?? ETA: Beast under the boards could be the dragon but Meleys was in the dragon pit where dragons are usually kept or Aegon who was also hidden under some boards?
  19. I wonder if the beast Helaena was referring to in her little outburst was Aegon? She is now Queen, but you all just put a monster on that throne. Aegon it seems likes the power - I don't think he will be a kind or merciful king.. Honestly they should've had Aegon abdicate and give it to Aemond who clearly wants that throne. Rhaenys - now THAT is an entrance --Heyy Melys! ..loved that she said she wasn't leaving without her dragon and yeah - the poor smallfolk who got dragon trampled. So the twin guards are at odds it seems but I am confused as to which one is anti-Aegon , was that Erryk or Arryk? The kiddie fight club - I wonder if Aegon's bastards are a part of that and clearly he has a few. I wonder if they can form dragon bonds.. Eww Larys.... Next weeks preview looks lit! DRAGONS!! that's all I am really here for
  20. Alright - let's get this war started!!! *rubs hands gleefully*
  21. To be honest, while I am familiar with the Targaryen's habit of intermarriage and Jaime/Cersei on GOT, the incest still makes me cringe a bit. Helaena/Aegon as married siblings and Daemon/Rhaenyra as married uncle/neice and now we're throwing the first cousins in the mix. At least the Strong blood mixes it up a bit BUT still - blech. All I can think is Poor Heleana - maybe Aemond would have been a better brother/husband. ETA: So the Aemond actor is in his early 20's while the Jacerys and Lucerys actors are still teenagers. I think the Lucery's actor was 15-16 when this was being filmed. Explains the obvious difference. I keep forgetting Aegon is a few years older than Jacerys.
  22. Given how much Viserys loves Rhaenyra, I do wonder if he would have fared better if Rhaenyra has stayed in Kings Landing.
  23. Did anyone else think Alicent may have poisoned that girl??
  24. So I was trying to enjoy a glass of prosecco during this episode but couldn't due to looking at Viserys - UGH So Alicent misinterprets what Viserys had to say who thought he was speaking to Rhaenyra Daemon and Aemond look like father/son and I get the sense they are both as vicious. Don't remember who but someone called Daemon and Rhaenyra's kids becoming bethrothed Aegon is ...special - most definitely not good king material - looks like he and his sister got some children BYE Vaemond, we hardly knew ye. I did a little clap when Viserys walked into that throne room..I also noted he called Rhaenyra his "only child", although he was on milk of the poppy at the time. He really his ride of die for her and I think it has to do with his love for Aemma. I also think that is who he was reaching for at the end, his true love. At least he died with a good memory. Jacerys and Lucerys need to just ignore Aegon and Aemond. I also swore it looked like Aemond was eyeing Lucery's betrothed ( can't rememeber if that is Baela or Rhaena) - Lucerys is the second one correct?? Also BOOO..no dragon sitings
