  1. This was really the sweetest revenge for us Ozzy-lovers. The show feels so pointless now. You should have seen my disappointment when they panned to the two teams drawn up for the RC, and of course Ozzy was nowhere. Well, it FELT pointless until Tribal. That was really great. Sarah was getting really annoying with her SPEECHES - in her CONFESSIONALS, she EMPHASIZES every other WORD, like Tyra BANKS on ANTM, even though she isn't saying anything IMPORTANT. But, then, she had a really good episode. I've never really gotten much from Andrea, so it was nice this episode to see why people like her, I think. All in all, a good ep. Debbie was my public enemy numero uno and man does she personify annoying as hell. @sadiegirl1999 don't worry. I see what you mean. It seemed like Jeff really wanted to manufacture a moment. He probably really felt for Cirie, but it was a little over the top. I probably cried anyway. The music, the editing.... that's why Michaela's polite clapping and IDGAF face were so hilarious.
  2. But ...... SHE LIKES COCONUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ; )
  3. Michaela was doing this at Tribal, which is what anyone posts on social media when there's some good shit going down. Now I need a gif of Michaela of slowly clapping her hands after Cirie finished at the RC, eyes closed, like she really couldn't care less whatsoever. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sierra has plastic surgery face. Nothing on that face looks real
  4. I laughed for 1000 years at the Coghlan jump. That goes down in history forever. I am so glad I was watching live to witness that. It was worth losing sleep over. Thames is already being tested. He's not testing positive.
  5. Jason Momoa is so fine, it's insane. He's ridiculous. Cole Sprouse, I am 10 years older than him but I strongly agree. He's so lovely to look at.
  6. Haha and the Blue Jays are worse than the opposite of that. Oh, lordy lordy. The game today (vs Angels) was more fun than all of the other games I've watched this season combined.
  7. Ozzy spoke about Tai in his Ponderosa, saying that Tai and he shared a bond over something. What did he say? I didn't really grasp it. That he and Tai love the earth together or something? (It sounds funny I know.) Tai is not assertive. He lets other people do that. I think he acts when he thinks a situation is extreme or he's backed into a corner. He was perfectly assertive when Varner did what he did. He spoke up, said what needed to be said, and then went a bit overboard showing Varner compassion that I for sure would not have. He likes to follow along somewhat, and I don't think he particularly likes conflict. He definitely does not want to start or drive conflict. He's good with aggressively looking for and finding idols, because that's all done 'behind closed doors' and no one can see him doing it or comment on it and therefore be offended by it. I don't know, I learn a bit more about Tai each episode I watch. I don't truly understand him. "He's just bad at this game" is such a blanket statement to me. Everyone is bad at this game except the winner. Tai doesn't seem to be good at this game in the way the majority of this board seems to like. Here people seem to hate the idol collectors and find it crazy suspicious. I always hear, when someone finds an idol: "Oh that's so annoying!" "That's not fair!" "Why did HE get it?!" Spencer is another player who is bad at tribal council, but he seems to be insanely popular. Ozzy is another player who's never won after four times, but he's insanely popular. So I don't get why people say "Get Tai off the show" for this reason. You need the different types of players to make the show as beautiful and great as it is. What is the point of having 18 of the same player. I just don't get the desire for that. Cirie has her flaws. Sandra even has her flaws. Tony, my beloved Tony, was such a flawed player the second time he got immediately booted. But so what? Why is this so horrible to watch? Not to me, it isn't.
  8. One positive thing is that I try (I try) to report posts instead of responding, and they usually get deleted. That's a good thing. One negative thing is that a lot of the language against Tai for being Asian is not even coded. There are straight up racial slurs used. Either you didn't see them before they were deleted, or you didn't recognize them. I think that a lot of people hate Tai - a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot. Some of the hate could be totally understandable. And some of the hate just sounds really gross. Like people hate the Asian contestant on Survivor and are just grasping at ridiculous straws as to why. I think I feel like @fishcakes. I can just feel it. Also posters bringing up Tai's supposed "flaws" out of nowhere which I have never seen depicted on camera and they weren't even the topic of the episode. This also happens with Michaela a lot. "Hey, she's blunt, she's difficult, she's blah blah blah." Um. Really? Because this isn't even being shown, so........ It's great to own up to ignorance on a topic. It's awesome. I'm ignorant when it comes to transgender issues. I am trying to learn more every day. And it's okay to admit we have biases.
  9. It's like the editors in Aubry's first season were in love with her and the editors in this season do not realize she's there. It's quite something.
  10. Survivor is just high school; if there's anyone remotely different around, someone else who thinks that they're a hotshot will make up a reason why that outsider should be hated. Then spineless bystanders will go along. Then the lies get repeated. Then people start to believe that it's the truth. It's gross. That's why I was so disappointed in Aubry when she went along with JT. The funny thing is, on my other favourite reality show, Project Runway, this happens a lot, too! It's so funny because on PR the contestants don't even vote for each other or vote each other out. It's just a lot of people are stuck in that high school mentality and when in a crowd, they cling to it. It's nuts. @pamplemousse I agree and it's how I feel about posts about Tai as well. It's extremely disheartening.
  11. Ozzy's "Sad" eyes, courtesy of Ponderosa (again this is just my perception)
  12. HEY HEY HEY GUYS. I don't know if Ozzy and LL actually dated. I thought they were just friends at one point. Notice that I can't deny the porn whatsoever. (Cough) not that I know anything about that (cough) or watched it or whatever (voice trails off) Dammit! The gossip sites really indicate everyone is right, that they did date. Wow. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2613456/Lohans-ex-Oscar-Lusth-weighs-stars-sobriety-struggle-saying-shes-battling-demons-I-hope-win.html
  13. There is a lot of talk about how difficult Michaela supposedly is, how blunt she supposedly is, her lack of poker face. I don't recall any related scenes this season. I recall her sort of freaking out a bit because her name was on the chopping block once. Has there been anything else? I agree, Hali's face-scrunching thing is a lot more extreme to me than Michaela's expressions. Michaela always seems placid and laid back in scenes to me. Either she does not speak much, or they do not show it. My beloved Ozzy stomped around and kicked sand when Tai and Andrea screwed up on the challenge (that their team ended up winning) and I thought that was some poor sportsmanship. I didn't mind all the big talk about the fish. He still went fishing after he lost to Tai, too. For all of the talk between Ozzy and Tai, Tai is the one who is always saying he'll vote out Ozzy (remember that crazy Tribal Council?) or that Ozzy is this huge threat. Either Ozzy and Tai always had some secret understanding, or else Ozzy has only shown to be extremely tolerant towards Tai always targeting him and pointing him out as a kind of enemy number 1.
  14. Sierra = Blue Collar. She aligned herself with the jerky guys like Dan and.............. I don't remember those tribes on the show either.
  15. Searching around on Twitter I found the following pics, but no Troyzan
  16. Dammit. I totally missed this Troyzan thing. I'll try to look online @piequinn35 but I can only do pics not gifs yet!! I tried to take cute pics of Michaela and Cirie bonding. It was a very heartwarming moment. Such great television. I watch a lot - A LOT of American television - and to see two black women bonding on such a popular TV show and speaking so openly about their upbringing and issues within the show really warms my heart. It was kind of like a new school version of the Bechdel test. Also, I loved the first tribal where Cirie's face was lit up by the torch flames and she was grinning so smugly. That was some good Godfather editing (um, I've never seen the movie.) Unfortunately the next episode kind of ruined it because she got outplayed. One funny thing - there was a really funny moment where the women were sitting around bounding and the camera panned to Aubry and a massive amount of her hair was piled on top of her head like a huge fan or a cockatoo. I tried SO HARD to capture that pic, but the moment was too fast.
  17. Not why Tai did though in my opinion - we're talking about giving up the feast, right? Everyone is asking "Why did Cirie vote for Sierra?" Didn't Cirie simply say something during her vote like, "I'm just doing this to spice things up." Cirie very deliberately wrote "Sierra" in BLOCK letters; I don't know why I'm capitalizing "block", it's just so funny how deliberately she did it. She tried to make the S look straight, like this: 5 I E R R H LOL! Cirie simply wanted to "throw a vote" at Sierra. That's how I interpreted it. To make Sierra kind of freak out after TC and say, "Who voted for me?" "I'm the shit, I'm the Sheriff, I'm the motherfucking Deputy!" Or what have you.
  18. No --- there was specifically a challenge where Cirie and Zeke - the Puzzle Dream Team - were finally split up, and then CIRIE won at the puzzle, besting Zeke. And this episode, it was reversed. I'm pretty confident about this and I commented on it when it happened. I don't think Zeke can be called the puzzle master yet. He beat Cirie once so far that I can count. If Cirie kept losing at puzzles versus Zeke, then how come she had never been to Tribal Council........ we all know that Zeke ended up there. Thanks for the love, though ;)
  19. 1. Cirie is literally the best player in this cast at puzzles. I thought that's been proven almost every challenge so far, except this last one where she cried. 2. Cirie has never gone to tribal before the merge. She's never been in a tribe that's lost immunity. Why? Because she's amazing at puzzles and always designated to do them. Cirie is practically the Ozzy of puzzles. She's POzzles. 3. Cirie set out to save Michaela as her lieutenant, somebody that moronic Sierra hates for no reason, and lambs like Aubry will pile on against when the going gets incredibly easy, and both changed Michaela's supposed 'exterior' and saved her as promised. In doing so, she got rid of one of Sierra's supposed potential lieutenants in Hali. The only negative thing that Cirie did so far in the game was, stupefyingly enough, get outplayed by Debbie this episode.
  20. Maybe I'd feel different if Debbie articulated any of that, instead of just spending the entire episode with a shit-eating grin on her face because she seemingly randomly wanted to boot Ozzy just because it was her decision. I could see that reasoning more if Debbie was any challenge threat herself, but I think even she realizes she is not. I still think Ozzy would be pretty weak at FTC, but then again who would be weaker between the two of them. Probably Debbie. I've also read a bunch of posts that say: Stop bringing Ozzy back, he can't win. I don't think any producers are under any impression that he can win. He's just popular. He is obviously otherworldly awesome at one particular aspect of this game, and I know that there must be more than just a few of us out there who enjoy watching that.
  21. But why is that good? What is the value of that? Debbie booted Ozzy -- so the fuck what? I agree with @truthaboutluv on this, which should not be a surprise, as I think I spoke about something similar in the episode before last -- booting Ozzy does what, exactly? Ozzy is a loyal number, a provider, and no strategic threat. It's been proven three times before this one. What more do you want? Seriously - what more in a Survivor contestant could you literally want? He's an ally, he's the strong, silent (read: Not Annoying type), the exact type you'd be able to spend hours of boredom with. He is the perfect Survivor that you'd want around. It's totally ridiculous. This will sound insulting, but it's like getting rid of the rice. Okay. You got rid of the rice. Except that this rice is great at reward challenges and can even win you more rice. What a huge move! Not. Everyone talks about how Ozzy has a bad social game. I don't even think it's bad. It's fine. It's his strategic game that needs work. He got along with everyone, worked with anyone and he lasted past the merge despite being everyone's Survivor hero. Socially I'd say not bad. Not so bad. I wish Tai was a little more like me and would do something crazy to save Ozzy. I honestly thought that would happen. I would keep Ozzy around until the end, first of all yes because I love him, but also because I would think I'd be able to beat him at FTC. Which is the point. Yes, Debbie is likely less popular than Ozzy so maybe it wouldn't be in her interest to sit with him at the end. But to boot him one challenge after the merge? Uh.
  22. Nothing I said remotely indicates that I was under the impression that I wasn't speculating. @laurakaye: Yes, I agree.
  23. For the people who disagree with the above and think Ozzy is "mean" or whatever. The reason I'll always have a soft spot for Ozzy is the feeling I get when I look into his eyes. I know this will sound silly to those who don't see it but his eyes betray a troubled or sad past. He seems really hurt beneath those eyes. And whenever emotion creeps up, you can see the pain building in his eyes. Like when he saw his name come up multiple times at Tribal last night - he was just frozen; deer in the highlights. He was so scared. Posters will also describe his "dead eyes" -- yes, I see that too -- but that's when a situation is so tense or he's momentarily "checked out". I don't necessarily see that as a bad thing. Rather, it's a coping mechanism. Ozzy's eyes have always fascinated me. I'm not talking about the superficial beauty. I'm talking about the depth of emotion that I can see. This has captured me since Cook Islands and it's also fascinated me that he's never deadened or moved past through this. I'll never stop finding him interesting.
  24. Whoever the Survivor producers are or whoever casting is, they think exactly like I do. For me it was very obvious that Zeke and Michaela were the most likeable contestants -- to ME; I know that Michaela is not universally likeable here -- and I also like so much of the Game Changers cast so yeah Zeke and M being chosen made a lot of sense to me. Zeke stands out. The Hawaiian shirts, the mustache, the hipster glasses, are you kidding? And Michaela, she's so tough and fiery and different from what I'm using to seeing on this show - the contestant who doesn't hide their feelings whatsoever (I said the same thing about Spencer, and I found that fascinating about him also.) Anyways, I did not find Z and M being re-cast for Game Changers suspicious or weird or agenda-laden whatsoever. They stood out. It was like somebody read my mind. I wouldn't have cast, say, Sarah (nothing against her, and I kind of love her now) but for sure I would have cast Tai and Aubry (and even Cydney, just cuz I like her). The game changing thing, whatever, I don't know or think Z and M changed the game at all probably? But to me they are TV ready (charismatic, attractive in a unique way, and exciting.)
  25. I liked the episode and in fact I liked the whole season. Rose Leslie's acting kind of bugs me but eh. If they are implying that Kurt cheated on Diane it just seems so not believable. Although.... maybe I am just naive. This is really disgusting, yeah. I don't "like" Marissa in that I wouldn't like her in real life, but so far as a television character I think she's enjoyable enough.
