  1. Ashton was always seen as a major proponent of Twitter and has 18 million followers. He used to be such a big social media star when social media was just starting, before the younger Bieber, Gomez, Jenner, etc. took over. Mila Kunis was the co-star in an Oscar nominated movie in 2010. She just starred in Bad Moms which profited $164 million, which I just learned now - that is crazy. I call them A-List personally. I Googled "A-List" and the Wikipedia definition "An A-list celebrity is one at the very top of their field. It may be a bankable movie star, a major recording artist, international sports star, film director, mogul, or an international TV broadcaster." Edited: Yup, thanks, but I believe we are allowed to post disagreements here.
  2. I have spent the past two nights reading this thread trying to remember who Adam Jr. is and now I remember. hahah. You guys are so fucking funny.
  3. DeMario: "I met her many many times ago." - LOL, the fuck does that mean? Rachel: "I need you to understand something. You don't make sense." LOL!!!!!
  4. I'm actually a pretty big Ashton fan, and a huge Mila fan. But the whole thing was so tacky, awkward, boring, and like other people said, the rules didn't make sense and it ended up being meaningless and a waste of time. I was so shocked and impressed the show got them, but then the actual segment? I was so disappointed. I thought the rest of the episode was GOLD, though. Loved it. Loved all the dates, the drama, the guys, and of course Copper. Ashton also dated Brittany Murphy before he was with Demi Moore! (Rest in peace darling.)
  5. I love this season, I loved this episode, I love Rachel, I love freakin' Copper, and I'm not even a person who's EVER owned a dog, but Copper is ridiculous, how could anyone not love him. And, there are a LOT of men that I'm attracted to this season. I don't know all their names but there's a lot of cute /hot guys.... Even if I'm not super attracted to someone, like Eric, he still seems cool. Dean is really cute even though he super turned me off with the "never go back" thing, I get that everyone thinks Peter is the hottest so I'll probably get there eventually, I LOVE Kenny, I liked Josiah this episode a lot better than last episode, I like (Fred?) the childhood friend....and on and on.... Lee, the Nashville guy is cute , with the funny hair.... Edited: Forgot Diggy, who I always thought was the cutest. He's more interesting with the glasses though, I must say : /
  6. Or you could simply marry someone of a different faith. Being raised in a house with two religions with my parents arbitrarily picking the 'better one' for me does not exactly bode well for me believing shit.
  7. Star Trek always was a pioneer in terms of diverse casting - George Takei, Levar Burton, Whoopi Goldberg, and on and on and on. So of course the white supremacists are mad about the new Star Trek; how "logical". I'll never forget when somebody pointed out to me that science fiction has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to diverse casting in America. Growing up I was never a big sci-fi fan besides like BTTF but in the past decade I've really come to embrace it.
  8. That was an incredible TV moment. She got him so good. Brad: "uhhhhhhhh buhhhhhhhh What do you want from me?" Wow. LOL.
  9. Wow. I've received a PM like this too, so I think I know who messaged you.
  10. I feel like an idiot. Everyone who hated Culpepper all along was right. Man I'm so done with him FOREEEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I eat crow @fishcakes. He is the worst. Michaela when Debbie brought up Lady Macbeth. (What the fuck was WITH Debbie, anyways? God. Sarah is Lady Macbeth?) Tai when Culpepper was doing his fucking bullshit. Michaela just, anytime. <3 My Skeptical Queen who did not take good gameplay personally.
  11. It's great that there's such a market for recaps for this show. I should be inspired to write one one day. Haha!
  12. This is only true for the people in power, the Gilead. This cannot be assumed for all the people who are victims of the government. Remember that when Offred and Ofglen did not know each other they assumed each other to be pious True Believers. A lot of women in this society are hiding their true feelings so as not to be killed. Women are being raped as part of this 'society'. Women are not allowed their own agency, choices, opinions, freedom, sexual liberation, relationships, love, even things like friendships or reading. None of this is allowed. Without those things at hand, how can women make actual "choices"? How can you call the decisions those women make in that type of situation real "decisions"? There is almost no free will. There is no education. So there is no consent. Again I give the analogy of a prison. The doctor is just basically offering Ofglen another type of rape than the one she's normally used to. Sure, the doctor may not have offered this solution in any other society -- but Ofglen would definitely not want to have sex with her doctor in any other situation, either! Like others have pointed out, he could have inseminated her, then there's no type of sex whether forced or not involved. Boom, problem solved. There are so many things at hand that make that doctor's "offer" too nefarious for me to accept as good. Women are like the slaves of this society. Men and older women are the masters. The doctor would be included in the master class. Not a confidant or a friend. If the doctor was a confidant or a friend he'd come up with another solution that doesn't involve the doctor penetrating June and getting off.
  13. I follow this column called "Ask a Manager". It is an ADDICTIVE AS HELL column where people write in their work problems to a manager named Alison Green. There was once a case where somebody tickled a coworker, and that coworker was so upset she wanted the tickling coworker to be fired. The comments were very interesting - some people hate hate hate hate that, and some people even have bad childhood (read: disturbing) associations with being tickled. It's just useful to know, in general, that so many people see that as an assault (I was not aware of that -- not that I'd EVER go around tickling people!) and so many people see tickling without permission with such wildly varying degrees of seriousness! It really opened my eyes. http://www.askamanager.org/
  14. Didn't like this one. Steve Hely wrote it. I actually am a fan of his novel. But this episode was trying so hard to offend me. I didn't find it at all funny. I like this show (in these past 2-3 seasons) when Richard has a big part in it. He didn't, this time. Not good.
  15. Diggy is so cute. The story with Fred was so romantic to me. (I probably tuned out all the parts where it wasn't.) I actually was once involved with a guy that I had a crush on when we were in the 3rd grade. We met up during the height of Facebook's popularity and by that point I hadn't seen him in 15 years. So I was so smitten with that story. And I like the wrestler Kenny. Rachel is so pretty!
  16. OMG, Adam is only 28? LOL. My YOUNGER brother is 30....... I need my smelling salts. I don't care about the age differences in both couples whatsoever, but the fact that Adam is ONLY 28? Yeesh. I didn't realize that. That's so young. (Not in an INAPPROPRIATE way, just wow , he is a younger man than I previously realized. That's all.)
  17. For all the complaining about this episode -- (Women over 35 flirting?! GAASSSSSSSPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP) this is the only episode this season I actually enjoyed. I guess I like parties, real estate (I LOVE real estate), fun dates, fun drinking, flirting, schmoozing, and Dorinda looking beautiful in sequins. Dorinda takes what I would THINK that I would find tacky and makes it look amazing.
  18. Oh my god, thank you so much @piequinn35 for linking this interview. This. Is. Awesome.
  19. Oh, now I hope Tai wins just to see the reactions to it :)
  20. And I like Michaela, but what's funny is, her actual intent was worse than blackmail. Michaela tells Brad to go fish. Brad assumes: You are blackmailing me. You are telling me that if I don't go fish right now, you won't save me. Michaela's actual intent: Just go get some fish so that I can eat it and then we will vote you out afterwards. Comedy. Brad actually assumed her intent was better than it was. Hey, if I was in trouble I'd take that quid pro quo. LOL. But it wasn't on the table. Can Brad even fish? I don't mean to sound snarky. Had he actually done it before?
  21. I don't know who "they all" is. I've not seen any evidence of Tai hating Michaela. Brad yes. Troyzan maybe.
  22. @blackwing I see your point of view as Cirie's. She and Michaela wanted Tai out. Sarah absolutely did not want Tai out. For some reason she wants / needs Tai as an ally and anyone else can be sacrificed for him. Tai told Aubry he should get rid of Sarah. Aubry tells Cirie. Cirie tells Sarah. Sarah immediately recognizes this as a lie and will do anything to keep Tai around. Weird..... Was it a lie? And if so, why would Tai lie about that? I think Sarah jumped on board voting out Michaela because that's what Brad wanted to do? (The fishing comment. LOL)
  23. I'm confused then, if this is the case, why Cirie put on the crocodile tears and tried to make Tai play his idol. Or what the heck was she trying to do?
  24. I think Aubry is either always on the wrong side of the vote, or even if she's not, she has no idea what the vote is. Not sure if she's ever been on the right side. I have a bad memory and I don't really care. I thought I liked Michaela, but I was really, really, really happy and relieved when the vote was read. That means that my allegiance was to Tai. (And I do like her, I just really didn't need her in the game anymore.) I had no idea what was going on and I thought he was in danger. He's obviously told / shown a lot that we are not privy to. Cirie looked ill at the vote. Guess she really didn't know what was going on, both with the advantage and with the vote. The mistake was so stupid that I thought she was faking it? But I guess she really did make the mistake. Sarah is ready to throw everything down to stick with Tai...... I thought the last half was a GREAT episode. I was on pins and needles. I just didn't really understand the last 15 minutes.
