  1. Agree. It seems out of character. Jimmy is very loyal to those he loves and fourteen grand seems like an awful amount of money for one kid to pilfer even if Dad McGill was the worst bookkeeper ever. Heh heh. Maybe Chuck becoming a sanctimonious jerk is him compensating for past sins like taking $14,000. LOL! Maybe that paid for his law school and that's why he's All About The Law!
  2. I'm not a lawyer or familiar with the legal community in general, but is it normal for so much leeway to be given to someone like Chuck? He's clearly unhinged and mentally ill, but the ABQ legal community seems to trip all over themselves and suck up to him. HHM obviously knows he's looking at legal docs by oil lamp and on top of that, he doesn't have a security system or fire alarms/sensors at his house. However, people seem to view him as king of the legal system. I don't quite think Jimmy was always Saul underneath it all. If someone is always told they're not good enough or that he or she is bad, they will eventually believe it. No matter what he did, he'd never live up to Chuck's expectations and Chuck was happy to tell him that all while Jimmy had to baby him. Even in BB, I don't remember Saul/Jimmy being plain evil.
  3. I hope they keep her around and see what happens. Tired of drama dinners and Andy having some sort of weird fetish of cat-fights. Let these women live their lives. I tuned in for a voyeuristic view of the rich NYCers. I guess since I live in Atlanta, I tuned out after the first season. Most of the women, at the time (when I stopped watching), were hot messes who were in debt. I was probably more posh than them, but we pay our bills and don't live beyond our means. I've also known folks who have had funny run-ins with Kim and fam and Sheree (was nasty to her staff though her ex was nice--yes, this was from someone who has no agenda).
  4. I've seen some people complain about Tinsley's hair. Just because you are over 40 doesn't mean you have to have 'mom' hair. If you can handle long hair, have at it. It's more of a personality thing. I hate that women think they turn 30 or 40 and have to chop it because that's why society says.
  5. Who is the catch that Carole turned down? He looks cool. I didn't watch last season.
  6. There was also a Seinfeld ep about that with Elaine's new number.
  7. I've never lived in NYC and have been married for a long time so I'm a bit clueless. I know it's tougher for single women over 40, but is there no place for these women to meet age-appropriate men? I'm not saying that people with age gaps can't make it work, but it seems it would be more difficult since you are at different stages and life experiences. You need to be able to bond and get each other. Additionally, there's the issue if the younger wants kids eventually and older can't or doesn't. It could be a case of the woman being too old to get pregnant or older man having already dealt with diapers and doesn't want to deal with it again. Do no NYC men want to be with a woman over 40?
  8. Now we know why Carole started going to the gym--because Adam goes to the gym. I know she's said she doesn't like 'gym culture', but women should do strength training. It's great for bone density. If anything, buy a set of 3, 5, 8 and 10 lbs dumbbells and workout at home. Glad to see she seems to be sticking with it. And Kittens!!! I agree with what others are saying about this show being about 50-something women trolling bars. It's not fun to watch. I feel bad for these women. I'd rather watch a show about some glam family women going about their day to day lives. None of them are actually wives except for Luann (show wise, she's a fiancee for now). I give the widows a pass. I don't want to watch a desperate divorcee (Ramona) pretend hit on 23 year olds, or see another one with a crumbling townhouse and who washes her delicates in a bidet (ew!), or constantly see Skinny Girl products. Is Andy so out of touch with what viewers want? I was hoping Tinsley would bring some of the glam back. I originally checked into this show for a live action version of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. I feel like Lu will be in for a load of disappointment with her marriage. Is her penthouse that great? I saw the video snippet and didn't seem any better than the other HW places. Don't know the square footage, but it's only one bedroom and doesn't seem worth marrying a pathological cheater for. She seems to be settling. Tom may be rich, but he's a cad and not attractive, IMO. I wonder what vows they said. Did his not mention fidelity? LOL
  9. I see Babs (in this ep) and, in another thread, a picture of Kelly looking French fried crispy. That's not the in thing. It's not 1987. Who told these women that was attractive? It's one thing if you are naturally that color, but chill on the spray tan or the fake-bake. I've known women who tan easily, but they don't look like that.
  10. Women at The Regency, beware that an STD is coming your way. Babs, you are tanorexic.
  11. The European style of the kiss, kiss greeting seems exhausting, especially for me since I have personal space issues. I'm fine with hugging, but why not a quick hug and a hello?
  12. Oh, Tinz. Yes, you don't look 41 and you've still got it, but don't waste your time with a 23 year old. Don't be 'Carole-lite.' Glad she didn't go home with him. Maybe she's channeling her inner Liza and Josh via "Younger." Liked the Ramona and Avery moments. Bethenny is someone I can take or leave. The irony is that I started watch RHoNY because Carole joined the cast and now she's one of the characters I like the least. LOL I also watch for the scenery. I adore NYC. Yes, Carole, we know your apartment is a mess. I feel bad that Lu is marrying a compulsive cheater.
  13. I found Jr attractive, but not the end-all-be-all of men like some people think, and sort of feel this way about Carolyn. Carolyn had an 'it' factor, but I found the actress who played her to be prettier than the RL version.
  14. Loved seeing Lydia. Have liked the actress since "A Knight's Tale."
  15. I'd like to see more about the disappearance of Shelly Miscavige and the weirdness of Cruise.
  16. How much do the Housewives get paid per show or per season? I didn't know they got a clothing allowance and perks. BTW: What business is Ramona in besides manufacturing boyfriends? Is Sonja in dire straits? Can she not afford to fix her townhouse?
  17. That made me cringe. Walk your dog, danggit. If the dog can barely walk due to arthritis or whatever, carry him/her is a dog purse or doggie stroller. I see those all the time. I don't mind Lu wearing white. She eloped the first time around. Let her have her fun. As far as having a shower, I've had friends go online and contribute to the honeymoon fund rather than buy household items if the couple is older. They do a honeymoon registry. You can pay for a meal or buy champagne, etc. Bwahahah! Baby tigers!
  18. The bride usually has final say on shower invites. It's very poor taste to invite one to the shower and not wedding. When I was engaged eons ago, I gave the host the list of people I wanted to invite.
  19. I believe she graduated from Columbia but started somewhere else. University of North Carolina? She wanted to be close to her then BF. Is her book worth picking up? Anyone know?
  20. She was also wearing leather pants. :/ That ensemble just seems weird to go out canvassing in.
  21. Tiffani was a bridesmaid in Jennie's wedding so I was surprised to hear of them suddenly not being friends. I don't keep up with a lot of the BH90210 gossip though. I give TAT credit for remaining buddies with the majority of her former costars. Other than Tori, is Jennie still friends with hers? They can't use Shannen as a punching bag since she's battling breast cancer so they use Tiff, I guess. I wonder if Jennie's beef is that maybe Peter hit on her and and she told her about it and blamed Tiffani? I dunno. Shoot the messenger sort of thing. Wasn't Peter a known cheater? I don't know if Jennie had a problem with fidelity, but didn't she leave her first husband for him?
  22. As far as Carole having the inside view on politics, surely no moderate or conservative would confide in her. She only has one 'inside' view. She may have friends in high places, but they subscribe to her same group-think. A lot of people follow the news and check a variety of sources and are informed. Carole doesn't own the franchise on that.
  23. It's so insulting that that, per Carole, if you vote Republican, you must be a dummy. Ironically, I voted for Bill Clinton in '92 and '96 before I really delved into issues. I was a poor college kid who wanted free stuff. 'Free' stuff isn't free.
