  1. I can't imagine FOX meddling in shows! It wasn't clear to me whether Chloe was intending to send Lucifer back to hell or kill him when she was at the church. Also, good casting on the priest. I'm sure that will back fire spectacularly. Lol Amer - don't fight over me! We weren't. Oh, can I do something, because I don't want to go home? I was surprised at the end that Lucifer was in such close proximity to Chloe but was still able to hold on to the truck.
  2. In the scene where she was a kid, it was shown she had memorized the book, so the notecards looked like backup. The book was still important because that's how Az figured out where Adam lived.
  3. I see no problem with this show. Honestly, the whole thing with the witch was only for the last prophecy, so I thought there was a little too much time on them. What's interesting is that they both exercised the most free will of all. Which I think was the point.
  4. Shit, it's 2019 and we still ask our lady friends if they're ok walking alone ffs.

I thought Daddy Ball had a no trade clause?
  6. That was a good callback joke; she wasn't being mean. I thought the panel got a little shouty at times, but everyone was able to contribute and no one was being shouted over. I was prepared to not like Bari, but she was well informed and insightful. One thing I do like is when comics just riff off one another. Bill and Short were killing me. "When did you make the move to HBO?" I'm active on twitter in my professional community, and it works just fine. We don't have the problems they were talking about. Will was less insufferable on OT, but I really don't give a fuck if Bernie ripped off FDR. Maybe because those policies worked and we need to look back and see how they can apply to modern society? I'm for impeachment-slow. We know for a fact the senate won't convict, so there needs to be some plan in place to seize the narrative. Point of fact, one can argue that they are preparing for impeachment - get the tax records, get Mueller and McGann to testify, vote for contempt for Barr. They already got Hicks to turn over documents that the white house told her not to. I wouldn't be surprised if Pelosi is waiting to pull the trigger closer to the election - Democratic voters will be motivated to actually vote, and it puts Trump on the defensive. She's shown to be a rather savvy Speaker. Spitzer is right - we have no idea at this time who is going to win the nomination. So I'm not bothering until 2020. I don't give a shit about the debates at all. It's a ratings grab and that's it.
  7. He thinks he's smart because he talks in measured tones. Please cite me some examples of Democrats primary governing strategy being to just oppose Republicans. Who wants to give everyone access to good healthcare and who tried to stop it 67 times? It's that type of patent bullshit that gives rise to the both sides are just as bad so no one votes and now all your rights are being stripped away. Fuck off. And yeah it's not a great insight that the amendment to remove the electoral college won't pass. It's also interesting that the presidents who lost the popular vote all came from the same party. So fuck off twice.

That's not the Warriors fault though. It's poor media coverage.
  9. Oh, do. It was a pleasant surprise.
  10. I don't think they can. It's passed congress and all the required states except 1. There's no constitutional limitation on how amendment can be passed either, so I don't know that it's necessary to establish a deadline. You should be able to sue and get that thrown out. I was going to ask why didn't the 14th cover this, but they answered. I think a rational court would consider that it does, but we don't have that. I thought Virginia recently tried but the vote failed in committee. I'm highly doubtful Utah will pass this, and then there's the South. If in fact Virginia is out, then it looks like this is on Arizona.
  11. And they drink too much, do stupid things, sometimes are bad at their jobs. Like actual people.
  12. That whole sequence from unfurling his wings to make the shield and then breaking through the window to slaughter everyone was killer. I was like, she *has* to find out now. Though she seemed very nonplussed.

    The NBA

I think Cousins should have been prepared for Curry's rebound and an easy put back. He totally bobbled it. But hey, maybe if you're 0-7 from 3 with less than 20 seconds in the game, you call a different play. An easy 2 would have been unexpected and you didn't necessarily need the 3 at that point. Calling the time out was the right move. The game would have been over right there. You do what you can. Losing those first 2 games at home really sealed it in my mind. Though, I can't say the dynasty is over. That's way to premature. People thought the Pats were done when Philly tore all over them too. Given how they stormed through the West without Durant at all, I'd be hard pressed to say they wouldn't be in the finals next year. The thing that killed Durant was not managing his minutes. He played the entire 1st almost.

    The NBA

This is the weirdest game ever.
  15. Bill doesn't mind getting dinged when it's one of his friends like Sarah Silverman who loves to break him up on the show, but he wasn't happy about this joke. I think it was more that he walked into it and it was a good joke. I don't mind him telling if the audience. There's a long history of that in comedy. I tend to think that him yelling made it more of a bit so he could take back the joke from her to him.
  16. Yet she made the choice to have Bill. Which is the whole point. This issue is dumb as fuck to me. Pro choice means you get to have the baby if you want. Or, maybe, oh I don't know, invest in education and somehow, magically, unwanted pregnancies go down. It's like when people are frothing at the mouth to repeal the ACA, or laugh about free community college. You do realize the health care and education is for you too?
  17. Epitaph One and then Two.
  18. Same. But I'm 3 in. It is kind of thin on plot, but clearly the entire show is based on Sheen and Tennant playing off one another. They seem to be having a blast. The whole hot foot thing in the church was killing me. Hamm going, "what? I like the clothes" and looking at Sheen like FU was a great line reading.
  19. It was a good joke, and he knows it. The guy on the panel clearly was talking about activism so I don't know why no one would correct him.
  20. I don't know. Bill seemed pissed when she made the joke at how expense. What happened in OT? Bill just kind of ended it.
  21. Dan pulling a Lucifer sitting in the dark drinking in the guy's house was hilarious.
  22. Honestly, I think the whole abortion 'debate' is fucking stupid. Here's the thing - pro choice means you get to choose to have the baby if you want. I don't get why that isn't hammered home constantly. Democrats need to grow a spine and just shut this down. Don't call it pro-life. It's anti-choice. Get a fucking narrative.
  23. I don't think it's a problem for Bill to criticize parenting just because he doesn't have kids. He was parented, he likely has friends who talk about parenting. The issue is that the bit is stale. There were parents when I was growing up that were 'helicopter' because I remember my mother rolling her eyes at them. It's just the term wasn't invented yet. tbh, I don't really see that where I've lived, and I've been all over. Yes, there's entitled kids, but I haven't really come across too many. Some have attitudes, but I knock that shit out quick and they get in line.
