I would say slandering Pete in the way that they did completely underscores Warren's point, who as we've noted, takes questions from Fox News in her press conferences, so it's not like she's totally shutting them out. And really, they're not saying it because they're professionals and can't, but fuck Fox News viewers and fuck the so-called 'brave' people who come on Bill's show to spew their vile bullshit unchallenged because "a bitch got books to sell." It's no surprise when we talk about how good the panel was when there's actual journalists on. I would crawl to everyone's house who didn't vote because "both sides are just as bad" and do their laundry if it meant they'd vote in 2020 before I went on Fox News. Trump is getting his 40% in 2020. Focus on getting those 60% and send him packing. No one gives 2 fucks whether or not Pete would take Jefferson's name off what-the-fuck-ever or not. 2020 isn't hinging on Mayor Pete. It's lazy journalism if one would attribute that word even to their treasonous network and it's just a ratings grab. Nothing more. This completely underscores everything that's wrong with our elections. Is anyone who watched Pete on the TH actually going to register in a primary and vote for him?

In the pilot, Kosh literally calls Sinclair (who was the other guy in the changeling mask and not actually Sinclair which I think he knew but that's another topic) "Entil'Zha Valen" before holding out his (Kosh's) hand and being poisoned. So when the name "Valen" popped up later down the road, I was like, "isn't that Sinclair, wait what?" I figured it out (and lost my shit) about 3 seconds before Marcus said "good god!" Watching the series through the second time, they practically hammered us over the head with it.

*smear* is the key word there. It's not like he said, "I will get back in the Iran deal if I'm president", and they spent the day yammering on how the Iran deal is the worse deal ever, and he's young and naive and doesn't have the chops to deal with the realpolitik needed for the middle east. (The Iran deal was fine and should stay). They literally edited video footage to misrepresent a position he had to make it seem like the opposite. They all knew that, and continued with the slander. *Slander* They willfully made false statements about a duly elected American citizen. Here's the thing - he's going nowhere. We all know that. But they did it anyway. Someone like Warren, while she may not be the nominee, she'll likely be around till the end, just has to point this out *with literal video footage* and say, 'There you go.' If I were a traitor to my country like the worthless scum on Fox News, I leave him alone, then I have the high ground. "Hey, Pete came on. Why won't you Senator Warren?" Now, she still has Fox News in her press corps and answers those questions, so they just handed her a win without having to fire a shot. I don't know if it more insulting to me that they're just criminals or stupid fucking criminals.

This was where it was going with her basically from the start. If you were expecting a happy ending, you weren't paying attention. There's plenty of criticisms of the show, but everyone basically ended up narratively where they should.

It was on showtime, so hulu might have it.

Time and money imo. I think the strategy is to get to the 'both are just as bad' demo rather than the off chance of convincing maybe 5 Fox viewers to switch.

On Full Frontal, they did a piece about why Democratic candidates shouldn't go on Fox News, complete with actual footage of a Democratic candidate going on Fox News. It's a good counterpoint to Bill.

Just because you're down by 3 doesn't mean you can't get the quick 2. Bucks had an easy lay up, and the guy is in the air and throws it out for a 3. Over a minute left, a 3 is not needed.

That was a good deconstruction on why going on Fox News is problematic. And for the people who get their news from there, well, try a reliable news source instead. I mean, ok, you might not be able to name all the candidates, but that guy couldn't name any? Even just with pictures? Come on.
