  1. I worry we won't get anything official about Diggle, Felicity, and Thea or showing them alive until the Arrow Premiere. And this cover was probably commissioned a while back. The Arrow promotion is going to suck big time until the premiere >.< Fan Twitter did have a quick fix to add Felicity and Diggle.
  2. Taken from the one is the loneliest number thread... Logan didn't "force" his perception. The use of that word is something I will fight hard against. Logan owned his thoughts and mind while Rory had issues standing her ground. She is like this with every strong personality. With Logan, Rory had plenty of time to talk and get her thoughts out. In this bridesmaid example, Logan even tells her to write a pro-con list because he believes it will agree with him. The real issue is that Rory doesn’t give her feelings. She states facts that Logan doesn’t believe are true. After they fought when Jess left in 6.8, Rory didn’t want Logan to take her home so Logan left. They didn’t speak for a couple weeks and then Logan talked to Honor who called Rory telling her Logan said he and Rory were broken up. Rory didn’t call Logan to find out what was up. She let them be broken up. Rory isn’t going to win this issue on rather or not Logan cheated on her. He didn’t cheat on her. And not just in his mind. She knows it. She still feels betrayed. She doesn’t know how to fight this issue and goes home with him. She’s still really hurt and doesn’t know how to deal with it and gets very passive aggressive. She hasn’t forgiven him. Which she had every right to do. Logan could be 100% in the right and Rory would still have every right to feel hurt. Those are her personal feelings. Logan can’t debate her feelings. Not once does she tell Logan that he hurt her, that he shamed her. Not once does she tell Logan that him not giving her all the info when they got back together means she can't trust him. She doesn’t talk about her feelings at all. Logan actually talks about his feelings from the breakup. That’s not saying there weren’t a lot of bad in how Logan dealt with his feelings in and after 6.8. He didn’t understand Rory’s growing unease and interpreted it as an instability in their relationship. The stuff with Jess and the fight where he thinks her sadness is a comparing him with Jess when really it’s comparing herself to Jess. Though Rory isn’t amused with Logan’s attitude about his life and they go at it hard. They tell each other exactly where each other is in life. How Logan whines about but doesn’t fight his father and how Rory’s life is open for her to do and be anything. She has choices, she just has to make them. But the fight was dramatic and felt personal. That night spurs Rory to change her life back to before Mitchum’s job advice (bookended by her following the opinion of strong guys). She doesn’t think how relationship silence made her feel back in “To Live and Let Diorama”. And of course, Logan went and found comfort elsewhere - which is the opposite of fixing the perceived instability. It ended up causing it to magnify. Also, there was some conversation about when Rory fell for Logan. When they met in the newsroom and Logan does his Smitty routine, Rory enjoys it. (Which is probably why he later thought doing something skit-y on a larger scale would appeal to her). Then there is all the You Jump I jump magic (the creative setting, the writers participate talk and the jump). Logan is keeping Rory on her toes while Dean is busy and still not really into the things she enjoys while Logan is of the world she dreams about. I think Rory is really liking Logan and everything but then he does the unimaginable. Messes with her learning time. This skit backfired and Rory is angry. But then Marty tells her that Logan is doing this because he's interested. And Rory gets back at Logan with the Richard prank. Then Rory finds out that Logan is a great writer and knows actual writers. Then they have the note dates which she has a great time. She's crushing big time.
  3. Some of this stuff should be taken to different threads. At this point I'm the only one who should be talking about Logan here ;) @shron17 when I get home to my laptop I'll debate about this in either the Rory and Logan Thread or the All episode talk thread.
  4. Logan didn"t just say it once. And he didn't make up facts either. He just knew his positions. Rory often didn"t. And not just with Logan. With everybody. When she stands her ground, Rory gets her way. Growing up with Lorelai often kept Rory from owning her own mind. Lorelai's a force of nature who gets her way. Is this thread now a discussion thread? We can directly counter what someone else says?
  5. The promotional stuff call it a 2 DVD Set while retail calls it a 3 dvd set. So I expect to get some extras and they probably haven't decided on what yet.
  6. Rory was showing dislike for Logan and since he didn't remember her, he asked why. And they go on this spark-filled debate. I have so much fun watching them go back and forth as they banter in 5.3. Logan didn't treat Marty like a servant. Just someone he hired before and wanted to hire again. Rory is a subdued person and has had a lot of strong personalities in her life. She has never really kept up with those stronger personalities. Her mom, Emily, Paris, Jess.... She has never really had to dig down deep and find out who she was. Rory and Logan have this kind of verbal pro - con way of making decisions. With Rory getting to make the final decision. "Your choice Ace". I always see them like the romances in 1940′s rom-coms. Being able to keep up with each other is part of the fun. Rory can keep up with banter but has trouble standing her ground when dealing with any strong personality. When Rory stands strong she gets Logan to do want she wants. In s7 when Logan asked Rory to marry him he thought she was on the same page as him. They had that talk on the couch in Farewell my pet about Belonging & trust and In Hay bale maze, Rory said that in general, she would like to factor Logan in. So when Logan got the job he went to SF to interview for, he thought this was the perfect new start for both of them. He found a house to rent that was at a great Location for Rory to get to many places she could work and close this new job for himself. When Logan asked Rory to move in with him she was thinking about what that meant for them as a couple. It wasn't about paying rent (the bills were probably already paid for the next year anyway). It was about the next step to them in a committed relationship. As For Tristan and Logan, Tristan was mean to Rory like an "Elementary school kid" acting out against their crush. He picked out a nickname that wasn't just about Rory and it had a sexual element. Logan was playful and treated Rory like the unique girl he saw her as being. He was rich with daddy issues. But imo Tristan is half Jess-half Logan with a way less strong personality.
  7. Having, killing and watching copies or different versions of the characters die, is what Legends did for their s2 final episodes.
  8. My sister just asked me if Roy is coming back for the Olicity wedding. I hope it's not anything bad about Thea.
  9. Logan wasn't fond of Honor's friends even in s5. His opinion of them did get nastier in Bridesmaid revisited, before he just called them things like dizzy, but his disrespect of them wasn't because he had sex with them. He definitely shouldn't have had sex with girls he had no respect for but they were like the female Finn. They didn't care that Logan was depressed and drunk even if they didn't know he had just broken up with his girlfriend. (But Honor knew so they knew). Logan was upset and tried to move on but he couldn't. Which he did tell Rory and it never crossed her mind what a boy like Logan would do to move on. It shouldn't have been a shock that Logan had a couple of one-night hook ups Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. Not only was he separate from Rory, she didn't call him after Honor called her. Logan would have been a mess and not know what to do about it. He had never been in that situation before. Logan and Rory had a huge fight at a bar, and she refused to let him take her home and then didn't call him for at least a couple weeks. When she had been staying at his place 3 days a week. It was a big change. And it all started with him coming over and she was hanging with her ex when she thought Logan was out of town.
  10. Sara is my absolute favorite but there are enough girls on Arrow they don't need her for an all girl team up. Though Sara and Lyla are the only Arrow girls I like to see in action-action. I adore Felicity's little surprise turns. Maybe Marc has a set story idea and a mini crossover like Flash is doing Bringing Felicity in for their all girl "team up" episode.
  11. Well in this time frame Arrow had a huge cliffhanger plus a huge Olicity episode. Flash also had a Cliffhanger that left their lead in transition. Legends ended a whole month+ earlier and only Rip seemed gone.
  12. They already have a bi-Canary and a lesbian cop in the Arrowverse. Plus they had the fry and milkshake "flirting" with Laurel and Nyssa that had a chunk of fans shipping them. I know that is out of story but still. I hope they don't go this route with Dinah.
  13. I don't think they acted superior. Colin was an ass to Marty but that's about it. And yes they had money to have fun but it is their personalities that shine and make them a blast to watch imo. They are a bit spoiled but they aren't the ones who acted like a brat to other people. And the Revival was just long time friends hanging out with a nod to Across the universe. A bit a cosplay, watching Kirks movie, dancing at a tango club, a night at an inn and breakfast at a diner.
  14. I love the Life and death brigade. Some groups go bowling, they put on creative conventions with a little bit of daring. Logan and his friends are all characters who created fun just by being there. Nothing wrong with making life an adventure. They weren't still base jumping in the revival - they had merry in Stars Hollow, went dancing, stayed at an Inn for the night and had breakfast at a diner. And they all had their own real problems. Finn had a cross dressing father and was in therapy, Colin never saw his family and Logan was raised as an heir instead of allowed to form his own likes and interest. He had a lot of pressure and a timetable. He was on a path that if you read Elias's and Mitchum's Bio you would know Logan's future as if you could read tea leaves. He has always been trapped in a cycle that has been around for generations. Rory was attracted to the adventure and fun Logan afforded her. In the Os Logan was her cushion to take risks. He supported, encouraged and didn't judge her. He had all that in his family life and made sure that was not a part of his and Rory's relationship. Logan letting Rory have the agency to make her own choices (It's your choice ace) made Rory have to start actually thinking for herself. Of course, Rory wasn't always up to making the right choices but she and Logan were like a (verbal) live action pro con list with Rory always deciding the way to go. In the beginning of season 6, Rory hid in the Pool house but in s5 no hiding. Rory took risks and put herself out there. After she left the Pool house and eventually moved into Logan's place she had a little domesticity but she had a full class load and worked hard at the paper. I think Rory's problem after she dropped out of Yale is that she did no self-reflection. She dropped out because of one guy's opinion and went back because of another guy's opinion. She tried to blame Logan for the way she was since dropping out (which he refused to take the blame and made sure she owned her own choices) and of course on Mitchum. Though really she made her own choices and probably would have been happier in life if she would have actually asked herself questions.
  15. I personally Love Rory and Logan together. They just spark on screen for me. Chemistry is subjective... I think Jess was a condescending jerk who was only nice to Rory and sometimes Luke. If he was rich he would be accused of being an elitist (he treated people as less than himself imo). I always felt Rory was hiding away with Jess since he didn't want to do anything. I mean as a boyfriend. Before hand, he got Rory to take chances (some inadvertently). He tried to get Rory thinking if rather or not her choices in life were right. As a crush and Luke's nephew, Jess might have been good for Rory. As a Boyfriend, he didn't care where her head was or if she felt safe.
  16. Because they got a lot of pedo/sickos wanting to join just because of the "girls" in the title of the group.

  19. Any article that doesn't mention the events in Keg Max and then heavily relies on things from one episode Let me Hear Your Balalaikas Ringing Out can't be taken seriously. And that article was clearly written by a Lit fan trying to be witty.
  20. http://archiveofourown.org/works/11138109/chapters/24852558 - By Dollsome. Incomplete/on going A screenshots-and-dialogue story that reimagines Rory and Logan's plotline in the revival. In short: most things are the same, but Rory and Logan have been married to each other for a few years by the time the revival begins.
  21. GG's charisma is the only reason I still watch at all. Even if it is just kinda of watch. I think all the shows technically can lose anyone but that doesn't mean the lead actors aren't carrying the show or that the characters the fans enjoy aren't what keeps the ratings as stable as they can be in this market and being on the CW. Imo. I hope they go this route. CP is awesome and Iris has a ton of potential if they used her. At all.
  22. I barely watch the Flash (I'm still lingering midseason) so as long as Barry and Iris marry on The Flash I don't care. I'm still mad that the LOT crossover episode ended on Barry and Oliver. And I think Arrow will be the last in the Crossover this upcoming season and I don't want any big thing for another show to happen on Arrow.
