  1. I roll my eyes at Sara planting the idea but at least that was before Earth X. Someone needs to sit Lance down and tell him how evil "he" was on another Earth.
  2. People on Twitter called it Olicity fan fiction and complained that Sara was a shipper.
  3. Well that's what he was going to do to Zombie Sara. Who was his daughter at least to some degree. BS belongs to another Lance. Arrow is stupid trying this can BS be redeemed arc. At all but especially after they had the Earth X crossover.
  4. I just rewatched Person of interest's version of this trope (If-then-else). Which I personally think is a great episode. I can't wait for Legends take. Bottle episodes can be off sometimes but this seems to be a strong character episode.
  5. This is such a great idea. And Chase could be even crazier. It could be awesome.
  6. I doubt he's a regular. As in be around long term. But I wouldn't mind him back for later episodes.
  7. No matter how much they want us to see the Newbies in the same light as OTA, I can't. Even if I could I don't like any of them. Separately or together. I thought I liked Dinah last season but now rewatching some of last season, nope. The way she is this season affects my over all pov about her character. I did enjoy Oliver in the field alone and the OTA dynamics. Also this Black Siren may have some of Laurel in her storyline? After the crossover and the way BS loves killing is the audience suppose to support this notion?
  8. Arrow Flashbacks had major Asian characters the first 3 seasons, but no major ones since in all the Arrowverse.
  9. I hope it's not Ava. She can stay in the time bureau. I'm Hoping they leave it Vacant until next season. Then instead of killing/kicking someone off, they can just add a new character. Or they can bring back Jax.
  10. Well Wally is firmly connected to The Flash via the Wests. With Snart and Stein gone they probably felt they had to reestablished the connection to their popular sister show. I get why bringing on Wally. And he and Jax are super similar characters I can see why they would feel they were too similar. And I don't mean the color of their skin.It took a while to have Nate and Ray different characters and it still us too much at times. And They did that by playing Nate more the dude bro. I do hope they can work something out. I love Jax's relationship with Sara.
  11. Maybe from the Groundhog Day episode? I figure there will be deaths until she gets the day right.
  12. Jess was unpleasant onscreen to Lorelai and as a boyfriend to Rory. His development was off screen and what we see is limited screen time. No real testing of any offscreen development. In season 2, Jess questioned why Rory was with Dean plus rather foreign correspondence was for her. Season 3 had the big moment in Keg max. And then left. In season 4 he came back expecting Rory to run off with him because he knew her best of all. In season 6 he gets mad at her for her choices. Which I know fans adore him for but when has he supported Who Rory is at the moment? When Jess comes back after a year he messes with Rory's head more then he already has and sends her running into Dean's bed. Dean seemed dependable and safe. Imo because Jess ended things using sex in a how and where Rory not being ready to give consent situration, Rory started the Dean and Logan relationships with Sex. The Wookiee too :p Logan asking Rory to marry him and him not ready to go forward without some kind of true commitment was a selfish for "me" moment but sometimes you have to do that. LIke Lorelai demanding Luke elope. What I hated was that it was a boring proposal in front of her grandparents' friends. Logan would form a sub-party to ask Rory. Outside by the carriage if nothing else. And he would have waited until the graduation. A themed Party afterwards fits better imo. And the whole break up did make me sad of course.
  13. Rory does acknowledge that she's apart of the 30something gang in the conversation with Lane at the end of summer.
  14. So cute that Beebo day is a thing this year Everyone celebrate safe and fun. Happy Beebo day :) Merry Christmas and happy holidays ???
  15. Rip fits mostly because AD played a Rory on Doctor Who :p
  16. I'm sure Ken is just wrong but perhaps in the wake of the AK sexual harassment trouble, they want to make sure Supergirl is treated much better than she was last year. They want to go in and clean up any perception of this issue in AK's female leading show. So far there doesn't seem to be much dealing with how Kara is treated by her love interest. But that seems to be something headed her way. I'm not remotely close to being up to date though so I could be wrong. While Flash is guy leading so not as important to fix. Small changes here and there would do wonders for this issue there.
  17. Ragman was a nice character and I would have loved to keep him over either Curtis or Wild Dog. But I highly doubt Legends new character will be him. He Lost his power (at least for a little while) and is too quiet and introspective for Legends. Plus his name is Rory. While Mick Rory is Mick it's still weird. Imo. Ever since AK mentioned Wally as still a part of the Arrowverse I figured he would make his way to legends. I didn't think we would lose Jax though.
  18. http://comicbook.com/dc/2017/12/08/legends-of-tomorrow-firestorm-replacement-character/ Taken from the Mind your surroundings thread by Velocity23 in the Arrow board.
  19. Having guest stars come in for a few episodes just might be how they do it for the rest of the season. Wally needs to learn how to slow down and be a team member. Flash doesn't let him grow. I figure Legends will just do stuff like what happened with Rip and his little time bomb. Or send him after some clue and he'll get distracted. I think Legends can limit his power to make him work and still let him grow as a character. Wally eventually being sent to Teen Titans is what most think is going to happen with the character.
  20. It's sad. I will miss Jax. We only have 3 original cast members now. I know they warned us about the revolving cast but it still hurts losing beloved characters. And it makes me worry even more about the 3 we have left. Maybe with Snart and Stein gone they feel they have to reestablish a connection with The Flash. As long as we don't get Ralph Dibny I can deal with that. I wish we could have Jax and Wally. They are pretty similar characters (and I don't mean their skin colors) but Nate was super super similar to Ray for a while. They can make it work.
  21. You do not have to watch S1. At all. Some of it's really really good but S2 is a micro reboot. People coming in completely blind will find it easy to get the characters even not knowing any history. Imo.
  22. I'm not even an Olicity shipper and I'm super angry. It was just petty because the way Iris seemed wedding bridzilla. She could have done the jab good natured at least but it just sounded I don't know. Petty. Not only did Nazis interrupt the real wedding but it's been like a week since Barry's friend died.
  23. I'm cool with Wally but we better keep Jax too! He knows the waverider. Give Jax a gun and his football tackles. No reason he needs superpowers. I have faith that they can do cool things with Wally without making him need to run chasing the bad guys all the time. His breakout fight scene in the crossover looked like kind of of whatever Rip did. Just keep that.
  24. I forgot to post over here. I loved it. I was a little down after the Arrow episode. I think because it felt like an Arrow episode but Diggle wasn't there. But even that was fantastic on rewatch. I loved that they used Tommy. I think it worked better on rewatch because the change to Flash wasn't as dramatic as I thought it would be. And I got used to seeing Sara's stunt double. She was so noticeable and pointless. I was like p!ease go away with your bad wig. Stein and Jax ripped me open. I knew it would happen but I bawled like a baby. They got the reactions so right. Sara's little good bye head kiss reminded me both right before Smart died and the little head kiss she gave Jax. The picture Ray had of him and Stein. Do him that thus was the picture he chose. And Jax telling Stein's family. And him being a member if the family. And the Sara Oliver scene it really worked for me. They're my favs. I really appreciated that the reactions from the Flash cast. I loved how Legends used their and ast. Little Ray saving Kara. Nate's joke. Killer Frost's team up with Amaya and Zari. And then Cisco vibing. Then he and Harry flying the wave rider and he and Black Canary good pop culture reference scenes. I think all that worked well. Someone told me the double wedding was also so legends and I kind of agree. It wasn't either couples' dream wedding, and even this wasn't perfect but it was still a feel good mess and a team up. Very legends. I think some one suggestion that the spirit and feel of the individual shows would have worked better if Supergirl and The Flash would have switched places in the lineup? I can see that. I just hope that the crossover mini movie can be a part of all 4 shows' DVDs. I wish that they could cut a deal where Crisis on Earth X was put on Netflix as a mini movie.
  25. Rory started off her sophomore year already feeling behind at the Yale paper. Over the summer her co-workers (classmates?) were doing internships at hometown papers, getting articles reprinted in the New York Times. Then her choice of story for her first feature beat was a boring nothing there choice. Paris called her out and Rory finally followed her gut on doing the LDB piece. She went up to Logan and piqued his interest. Got in on the inside. She mostly observed though she did talk to a few different groups. We really know what Rory's story arc will be when she & Logan talk about her being an observer instead of jumping in to find the story-experiencing it first hand. She gets a great piece out if it. Logan compares it to Joseph Mitchell. When we return to Rory the journalist later in the season she is beyond excited. She's researching Mitchum and reading books on his interest. Then when she gets to the internship paper she's a bundle of nerves and she even forgot the pencil Mitchum asked her to bring. She kind of recovers but by observing and being a people pleaser. But she never goes in and engages Mitchum. He's the story. She should have been thinking how to get him to talk. Find out first hand how he felt about his accomplishments. She asked Logan but never really went in to learn what Mitchum could teach her beyond what observing would. In fact I think the best thing she did was get people to like her and be able to help smoothe the work place for everybody. Paris and Lorelai would do more than observe. They would perpare or naturally just know how to get to the meat. Mitchum judged Rory accurately but was being an a$$ when telling her she'd make a good assistant. I think he was probably trying to push her buttons. She responded like a hurt child. Rory should have talked to someone but talking is not something The Gilmores do easily. And Lorelai and Rory both have impulse control issues because of it. Rory didn't just drink and party during her time off. She did her community service and worked at the DAR. It wasn't figuring things out but it was living her life. She wasn't ready to figure things out. Sometimes you just need a break. When Rory goes back to Yale, it's the skills that she displayed at the Gazette that gives her success. Although I don't think Rory ever really evaluated herself on the situation to find out just what she's good at within her choosen field. As far adult Rory, I think she's just burned out. Too many years in a job not quite right for her. In the revival, Rory and Logan talk about Naomi but Rory doesn't heed his warnings that the woman can be strange and difficult. Rory doesn't prepare herself so doesn't know how to deal when Logan's warnings turn true. Also when Rory and Logan are talking about Sandy Says, he tells her that the online mag is chatty and gossipy but that them wanting her might mean they are looking to class up the joint. Rory doesn't heed that advice either and comes in with nothing that would do that. Nothing that would bring Rory Gilmore to the magazine. When Rory is doing her lines piece, there are interesting takes persented to her. The people waiting in line for whatever which turns out to be waiting for nothing. Rory doesn't interview those people. When Lorelai can get anything without waiting inline, Rory doesn't see that as an interesting angle. She doesn't try to find out what the people inline think about that. Or how telling Lorelai's way to the masses to compare abd contrast. There is an easy story there. When Jess tells her to write a book about her mom, it's kind of assignment like and Rory drives in but when things get hard because of Lorelai, she sits on it. I'm not exactly sure what we are supposed to get about Rory from her career in the revival. Just that she's burnt out. I think writing about her mom and herself will help her see how she is both similar to her mom but also how different.
