  1. The only thing I hated was that it was Nazis. They could have had the same hate but call them something else. The heroes leaving all those poor souls at the concentration camp to save their own loved ones, I'm totally not big on that at all. It makes them all look selfish and yuck. If I could fanwave maybe this hate group isn't quite as evil as the Nazis I think I'd swallow it better As for Felicity interrupting the West/Allen wedding, I considered it a bookend. Hate interrupted the first cermoney and love the second. And sure there was a selfish thinking about herself element in the Felicity interruption and (as we learn after the fact) some selfish save my wife element the first. But the basis of the interruptions were kill Kara and I want to marry you Oliver. So bookends. Hate/Love. For some reason, the non Arrow shows have Felicity slightly more bobbleheaded than Arrow does. She wasn't trying to be rude, she was living in the moment. Now it's up to The Flash show to give Iris&Barry their own special moment. That Crossover is about creating what works best for the story they decided to tell. For me Vibe being absent for a chunk of the time is what felt off for the Flash. And no Barry pep talk. Iris was much more awesome than so far in my watch of The Flash and that was fun to see. And Caitlin having fun as killer frost was fun. Her and Mick on the first night was cute. You can probably tell I haven't watched The Flash this season. I cried for Stein. I knew it was coming but it tore me up.
  2. I agree with this except the internship. He didn't want Rory to take it. He also was super worried about her and came to make sure his dad was treating her all right.
  3. I'm not sure what was up with Caity's stunt double. She was driving me nuts on both episodes. Most of what she did was needlessly her. I couldn't even enjoy the fights because if it. I pretty much just enjoyed Oliver & Felicity, Iris &Felicity and Mick. Stein and Jax but I think that was just on Supergirl.
  4. What does Logan convince Rory to do beyond jumping and that he had thought they were on a break?
  5. The problem with Spike's attempted rape is the same as Jess's sexual misconduct. The girls don't matter. It's to send the guy off to spin off/redemption. Plus it's just not a nice look for the guy you want the lead character to find happiness with to be the one who wouldn't care enough about their girl to get that they didn't want sex. The girl had to push the guy off. I don't have an issue with limited I love yous. It fits Luke. He's a silent prove it type. Lorelai isn't one to easily express her emotions. She's a doer without even thinking about the emotion behind it. And I don't think creators need to cater to fans. But know your medium. Tv fans spend hours with the characters before the show is close to ending or wanting to end. There is room for movement. To understand the audience. Things change all the time with actors leaving or real life events affecting what can and can not happen. Fans staying around is important to the studio&station making and/or airing the show. Books and movies are written before their audience has time with them. Amy has ship baited Lit and it's the worst thing about tv. There is nothing real in show saying they have a real chance. Just a small dangle of carrots that are eaten up.
  6. So much about Jess and Jess&Rory is assumed. A lot of it happened off screen and not even mentioned on screen. I mean we don't know much about adult Jess at all. As for Jess and Rory I know people headcanon a whole relationship where they talk hours and hours about literature and life. Where they both love staying locked inside only talking about books and their deep meanings. How they both fully understand each other because the books they love tell every secret two happily isolated introverts can't easily express.
  7. Legends ratings will probably be fine but if they aren't I'll blame that they mentioned Sara out of commission in the episode description. Instead of the more likely that people were either already traveling or going to bed early to be ready to travel today.
  8. Yeah I always saw it as Luke adoring Rory like the rest of Stars Hollow. Not as a father figure. Nor as someone interested in her mother. She was the town princess in many ways.
  9. Here's another article. http://eonli.ne/2mnRaAE "We're very close with these actors, especially Lauren [Graham], Kelly [Bishop] and Milo [Ventimiglia]...I think if the time was right and everybody is in the right space, because that's what happened before. Everybody was kind of, like, in a room together and we were kind of like, ‘Should we do this? Is everybody up—' because it has to have that feeling, it has to be like we're all in it to win it," Sherman-Palladino said. "It'd have to be the right format, the right story, so—we have allowed for it. The deal we have with Amazon has a Gilmore clause carved out, so it's definitely if we can all come together, it can happen. Nothing is in the works right now."
  10. I love this show. Damian was having so much fun and even though I hate the bastard, I was loling. His daughter(??) Seems to be right up her dad's evil dead Thing but she's not as cheesy. She's a bit like her mom I guess. I love Sara as usual. And Rip Too (although I didn't like him this episode). I also love how each of their arc feels like them. How Ray's last week felt like him. They are different characters and LOT works both well. I like that Amaya & Zari bonded some more. I find the amulets being connected something with potential. I Liked the tiny bonding moment between Sara and Zari. I hope we will get some scenes wuth all all the Waverider ladies. I really love Mick. I was one who Was mad that we got him instead of Snart's Sister. But I've adored him since the pilot. Him loving Vampires was fun. I love the the team is a real team - and really family. They support each other. When Ray found the watch fingerprint was Oliver's, Damian Didn't even cross my mind. Oops I wonder if Sara's resurrection will play a part? So far we have two resurrected villains.
  11. No I definitely don't think Rory's a deadbeat. I'm not saying that. She has good friends. Chris had no one and nothing. Rory also has a career just isn't as successful as she planned and is currently adrift because the industry has changed or maybe she was never right for it. But her arc has similarities to early Chris's. Not the same because Rory the Character Isn't the Same as either of her parents. She doesn't have their personality. Or history. Her relationship to Lorelai is different. None of these characters are the same. Really Amy Just repeats herself. In the OS Luke was given his own Rory like daughter he Never saw as a child. I guess To make Chris look better? Luke didn't know about her so Not As bad but once again Lorelai is Dealing with the curveball of a child. This wasn't at a wedding but it messes with Lorelai's wedding. I've Just watched the show too much. I mean I can see the similarities in the Richard/Emily separation arc and the Rory/Logan one a season later. They don't look the same but the beats do. A fight over an Ex, a separation, Logan hooks up with some girls/Emily goes on a date. Then there is an accident and reconciliation. I need to step away from the show. I haven't been away from it since the atx festival. It's eating my brain....
  12. Imo Rory is not a carbon copy of her mom in the revival. She has ended up in the same curveball their mother and daughter relationship started. But Rory's revival arc is closer to Christopher of s1-s2. From first seeming a success but that not exactly the truth - to telling Lorelai curveball baby news at a wedding.
  13. There was a Tumblr post that I replied too that helps to explain my opinion. Which is I've always loved them but now more so than ever. http://tarotx.tumblr.com/post/166696472999/really-unpopular-opinion-that-reveals-how-nuts-i
  14. We'll get it. I can't see them passing on some kind of LOST imagery let a lone reference/Easter egg.
  15. The only thing I hated about the episode was the orgy lure and the childish acting in the drinking scene. They were so not Sara, Snart, and Mick. I hope they can reel that in.
  16. The crossover isn't going to be like 4 episodes. This is a two-night mini-series.
  17. None of the guys have shown a bi or gay tendency. I can't see any of the guys being able to deal with Constantine if it's a new direction for them. Who knows. Maybe Mick is bi since he was super close to Snart? Or maybe it is the new version of Snart?
  18. Well, Stein dying will have the emotional weight on the legends end. I still think he's who will drive home what True Love means.
  19. The problem with Blondie is Felicity asked not to be called that and Wild Dog kept calling her that anyway. I think Mick Called Sara Blondie once or Twice.
  20. They might be able to bring 2024 up with Zari. She's from the near future. 2030 I think.
  21. Logan was far from superficial. He could challenge Rory on an intellectual level and they were never bored. He also encouraged her and supported her. Imo their issue was that they both needed each other's stability so that when they felt the other's instability things get rocky. Because of a lack of communication.
  22. Directly quoting my post and discussing what my post said seemed to me you wanted to debate about it. That's why I took it out of the unpopular opinion thread in the first place. Rory went back to Logan's but then she took off for Stars Hollow for 2 days after she found out about the bridesmaids. She didn't tell him she was going. She then comes back and Logan asks if everything is OK and she says yes. Then continues to be here and gone without telling him where she was going. Instead, she's passive aggressive switching his alarm, taking his article from him. Rory really needs to learn to communicate. Rory and Logan weren't in a relationship in Diorama but Logan not calling her and talking to her made her feel like shit. She got drunk and cried in her mother's arms. You can't just stop talking to people when that isn't the norm and expect them to think everything is as it had been. Especially when the fight seemed to be over another Guy. And I can't see how anyone thinks they aren't officially broken up when Honor calls and Rory doesn't call Logan. I just don't see how anyone can think they weren't broken officially on Thanksgiving. Rory and Logan talked about it the night she found out and then she doesn't talk about it afterward. She runs away to hide not to figure things out. And then keeps avoiding him except to cause little hurts his way. Logan asks Rory to marry him because he thinks they are on the same page. In Farewell, my Pet they have the talk about belonging to each other and how they aren't worried about themselves as a couple. Plus in Hay Bale maze how she (as did he), in general, would like to fact Logan in. Then he gets the Job in California so finds a place to rent near where he would work and where she would have a lot of job opportunity. He asks Rory to marry him. She says no because she wants her life wide open. When she says no she has no job, had really hated when they had to have long distance and says no because she wants her life wide open. When she explains why she's saying no ... "there are just a lot of things right now in my life that are undecided. And that used to scare me, but now I-I kind of like the idea that...it’s just all kind of...wide open. And if I married you, it just wouldn't be." Rory Knew what she wanted. She had been thinking about this for a few weeks couple. She had the conversation with Paris. Rory knows she's ready to try Long distance again. Paris even tells her, "Then again, choosing to be apart might be... choosing to be apart". Rory might have been blindsided about the proposal but she wasn't about everything else. Rory should have taken that conversation with Paris and discussed it with Logan as soon as returned. Logan feels like Rory choosing not to Marry him is her way to slowly remove the bandage to them breaking up. I can imagine that he felt it would be like what happened with Dean and eventually happens with Paul. Rory moves on without telling the guy she has moved on. And Logan let Rory have her wide open life. By the way, the whole point of what I was originally saying in the first place is that Rory isn't just this way with Logan. She doesn't stand her ground with everybody. This isn't a Rory Logan. This is a Rory issues. She doesn't stand her ground. She actually stands her ground more with Logan than anyone. Usually, she gets Passive or allows the stronger personality to win. Just her leaving Yale is bookended with Rory listening to Mitchum and then the This isn't you stuff with Jess (and the You can be anything if you want a change -change it shout from Logan in their fight). With no self-reflection in between.
  23. I can see how Stein and his wife and him leaving and regretting missing out on Time could inspire life is short (even when you have all the time in the world) weddings. Also with them knowing that there are worlds where freedom is even bleaker than now. I can see how that could inspire.
  24. Well a double wedding solves any debate of who deserves a wedding first. Plus gives the fans a comic couple and a non comic couple. I can see how this felt win win for the EPs. Alex and Sara hooking up does makes me think maybe Sara might be getting a male love interest. But since Ava has been cast she does seem like who Sara will date. I still wouldn't mind Rip especially now that he's off the waverider. Poor Stein and family :(
  25. Amy and Dan related but could affect GG-if you had hope for more. I think if we get new content it'll mean more passing of time and more Amy not focusing on GG until last minute.
