  1. They were also on Good Morning America (aka GMA). https://gma.yahoo.com/video/cast-galavant-talks-season-165905731.html http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/galavant-stars-live-times-square-36161736 Apologies to those who can't see these because of website viewing location restrictions; I couldn't find them on YouTube. They never made it to SF Sketchfest Friday, with whomever else was going. Tim Tweeted they got hung up by their United flight having delay-causing issues.
  2. Singer Troy Shondell Dies at Age 76. http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/obituary/6836434/troy-shondell-this-time-were-really-breaking-up-dies-at-76?utm_source=twitter He was originally from my hometown, by the way (it's mentioned in the obit).
  3. The media reports say Keri's about 4 1/2 months along, or approximately halfway through the pregnancy (already); but that's only a difference of about 2 weeks. So I guess she got pregnant around mid/late-August or early September, if I'm figuring right... & I may be off a little. I still think it would be an interesting storyline too--Philizabeth having a baby born from love instead of duty. But I also see the complications of writing the pregnancy in on the storyline. And yeah, sex with their targets & various others has been a fairly big part of their missions/deceptions, but I (& I think others, both here & when we discussed on TWoP) had assumed birth control had been involved then, on both their parts, so they wouldn't get caught in any unexpected situations as a result. Anyway... They probably won't write it in after all, though the idea of it was interesting. The Exec Producers have been mum--& pretty scarce--on Social Media since the announcement, so who knows what way they are, or were, thinking since they were told (which I'm assuming was before the media got ahold of the news since the pregnancy/Keri's health [& Matthew's, for that matter] could affect production & they need to plan for that).
  4. BBC America is airing an Adele: Live in London special on Valentine's Day. http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/tv/2016/01/08/bbc-america-has-valentines-gift-adele-special/78525328/
  5. He's twice-divorced; he was engaged to Eddie Murphy's ex-wife, Nicole, until around the time he was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame last Summer; he's apparently currently single. But among his kids are preteen twin girls. And he's worth $45 million, according to Google. So that's not it. Maybe he just likes to work (shrugs). I just put all of his current major gigs down (he's also an author, Meta[mucil] commercial spokesman, & maybe some other stuff), so the greatest amount of readers here would know who he was--if you don't know him from 1 credit I listed, maybe 1 of the others will make you go "Oh... That guy!" & you'll recognize him.
  6. An article from People magazine about Witney's wedding cake & other foods served with it (with photos). Apparently the wedding is 1 of the features in this week's issue. http://greatideas.people.com/2016/01/08/witney-carson-dancing-with-the-stars-wedding-cake/
  7. I think E!'s Twitter feed said something about them streaming it. But I'm not sure how much that would help since it's an American cable channel & the original poster was asking about it airing overseas. Having said that, perhaps if they Google they can find a broadcast network/channel &/or a live stream from somewhere compatible with their location.
  8. It was actually Sheryl, with an S not a C, Underwood & Sharon, not Karen, Osbourne. Just a couple of small corrections since, as you said, you don't watch The Talk.
  9. Responding to the bolded. Valerie's now doing 1 of those Celebrity-Hosted, "Cooking for Family & Friends" shows on Food Network (it mostly airs around Noon Eastern on Saturdays, but I also saw it somewhere between 4 & 6PM Eastern on a weekday earlier this week)--in addition to appearances as a Judge on other Food Network shows, like the current S2 of The Kids' Baking Championship on which she & Charm City Cakes entrepreneur Duff Goldman are the Hosts/Judges. Mackenzie Phillips was her guest on the ep that aired last Saturday, & every second or third sentence each of them said was about how they were still very close, like sisters, how proud they were of each other, etc. So, yeah, the One Day... cast seems to have really been very close, even with--or maybe despite--all of Mackenzie Phillips' substance abuse/addiction issues during the show's run (ironically, Mackenzie is now a Certified Drug Addiction Counselor in Southern California). Maybe this is where I read it, but if not... I read somewhere the other day that Pat Harrington, Jr. actually died on what would've been his Co-Star Bonnie Franklin's birthday, had she not pre-deceased him (she died a few years ago of Cancer, either Pancreatic or Esophageal... I forget which). By the way, there's no E at the end of the first word in the name of the network currently running One Day.... It's just spelled "Antenna" (Antenna TV); our cable package has the channel & I like it too.
  10. ABC is rebooting The $100,000 Pyramid (The game show which was most popular when the late Dick Clark hosted the $10,000, $20,000 & $25,000 daytime versions, on CBS & ABC, from 1973-1988; reruns air Monday-Friday mornings on the GSN cable channel). It's slated as a 10-episode series which is to run on ABC over the summer. NFL Hall of Famer/former NY Giant, Fox NFL Sunday Analyst, GMA Contributor, & the Daytime Emmy-winning Co-Host of Live with Kelly & Michael, Michael Strahan, will Host & is 1 of the Executive Producers of the upcoming reboot. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/abc-orders-100000-pyramid-revival-853545?utm_source=twitter
  11. Me too. And I think she totally crapped all over her now ex, Chad Lowe, when she won her first Oscar (I've also heard she didn't get along with the Lowe family when they were married), even if forgetting to thank him was an accident (if you ask me, they at least partly split 'cause he wanted kids & she didn't, on top of his then-substance abuse issues--he's now happily remarried with 2 daughters & just announced a 3rd child's on the way this Spring). I've kinda been happy her career was in the tank between the 2 Oscar roles, & has been again since Oscar #2. I also hate Katherine Heigl, for the bitch/diva/attitude thing, especially in her Emmy acceptance speech, & for crapping on the Grey's writers when she pulled her name from contention in a later Emmys. And I just don't get how Chelsea Handler got famous, except for the fact she was sleeping with the guy who was the President of the E! cable channel at the time she got her show on that channel.
  12. The BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Awards nominations were announced earlier this morning in London. The full list of nominees is here (among other places). http://deadline.com/2016/01/bafta-nominations-full-list-2016-1201678332/
  13. TNT & The Sixth Sense Director M. Night Shyamalan are teaming for a 2-hour horror block, including a Tales From the Crypt reboot, for Fall 2016 (this fall). This was announced yesterday, January 7th, at the network's presentation at the Winter TCA (Television Critics' Association) Meeting in LA. Also, this same article says The CW ordered a Pilot for a Tales From the Darkside reboot last February (February 2015). http://tvline.com/2016/01/07/m-night-shyamalan-block-tales-from-the-crypt-tnt/
  14. http://variety.com/video/the-american-matthew-rhys-keri-russell/ Video from Variety with Matthew & Keri on why The Americans "resonates" & all those disguises. If the entry graphic isn't immediately apparent, scroll until you find the black & white art/illustration of Matthew & Keri with guns in their hands, which are across their chests--the same thing as on the cover of the S1 DVDs, for those who have them.
  15. Cousin Amy: The name of the toy store--did you mean the store Jen, Judy, & Zoey went to for the stuffed animal favors, etc.--was Berings. Jen & Bill each mentioned it in their voiceovers/talking heads for the ep. And they both said it was actually a "hardware" store; Jen said, though, it had a lot of other stuff, ladies' purses & such, besides normal "hardware store" stuff. Which is probably why Jen could find the animals & other stuff for the party favors, & why Zoey found the rocking horse, there. Misslindsey: The hotel's daily events board they showed onscreen, which mentioned Zoey's party & had her pic on it, had the date Sunday, September 27th on it. So if that isn't Zoey's exact birthday, it's at least probably close to it (& they held the party on an alternate, but close, date probably to accommodate Zoey's friends & their parents--like they mentioned they did with Will's fifth birthday party at the science center, in the ep about Will's fifth birthday party--perhaps because the actual day of the week Zoey's birthday was on in 2015 was a weekday & bad because of the kids' school, parents' work, & other activities).
  16. It's not necessarily impossible for the show to rewrite eps, perhaps closer to the end of the season, if they don't need complete rewrites & if they decide to write Keri's pregnancy into the show. Depending on when the producers were told about Keri's pregnancy vs. when we the public found out, they could already be working on rewriting eps; I don't know (especially since I don't actually, you know, work on the show). Other shows (& movies) have rewritten scripts in midseason/the middle of filming due to things like real-life pregnancies & extended illnesses of their actors; but mostly it's been when a prominent actor in the cast has, somehow, died during production--like The West Wing had to rewrite basically every episode they needed to film after the Christmas/New Year's Hiatus in their last season (which was something like 13 episodes, I think) because of the unexpected heart attack-related death, during the Hiatus, of actor John Spencer, who played Former White House Chief of Staff & then-Democratic Vice-Presidential Candidate/Nominee Leo McGarry on the show. I'm sure they'll do/they've done whatever they think's best for the storyline/perhaps Keri's health, whether it's write it in or keep it offscreen as much as creative camera angles, oversized props, furniture, heavy bedcovers, & baggy wardrobe will allow. Although, like I said upthread, you can still see something of Keri's "baby bump" in the linked to pics Entertainment Tonight posted, despite the fact she's wearing a medium-heavy-ish winter coat which was probably chosen to hopefully hide the "bump".
  17. We periodically talk about old celebrity obits being brought up again, as if they're current. That's happening right now on People magazine's website. They're currently listing their obit/article on actor Gary Coleman's death as their most-read article. However Gary Coleman died almost 6 years ago, in mid-2010.
  18. They were apparently filming as recently as Wednesday (could mean today, could mean last Wednesday; the specific date isn't clear). Entertainment Tonight's website posted a story today, including 3 pics & a short video of Keri on set, which they said were taken "Wednesday" (& today is Wednesday). The story is, obviously, about Keri being pregnant with Matthew's baby. The pics show Keri on set (which is outdoors), I think carrying a tote bag in 1 pic, & wearing 1 of those winter coats (tan colored) that's made of a material that sort of looks like it's felt-ish, but is much thicker. Anyway, it's the kind of coat which could be used to hide a "baby bump" in an actress, if need be, but Keri's "bump" is still at least slightly visible despite the coat. So she's definitely pregnant, it looks like. http://m.etonline.com/news/179331_exclusive_keri_russell_is_expecting_first_child_with_matthew_rhys_see_her_cute_baby_bump/
  19. Since the media's saying she's more than 4 months pregnant, & multiple sources are posting/publishing the same thing, I'd think it's more than "supposedly". And I think it's cool; now we'll get to see what a child really conceived by Matthew & Keri/people who look like them really looks like, instead of seeing a casting director's idea of what a kid/kids conceived by them/people who look like them looks like--not that the actors who play Paige & Henry aren't physically believable as kids who were conceived by Keri & Matthew/people who look like them. I'm just making an observation here. I suppose the "creatives" behind the show, perhaps in consultation with Matthew & Keri, will do whatever they think is best for the storyline & Keri's pregnancy/health, whether it's to write it in, camouflage it & not write it in, or find some way of believably writing Keri/Elizabeth out of some episodes when she's closer to her due date (like when Elizabeth was shot & recovering in a KGB safehouse at the end of S1 & the beginning of S2, only actually writing Keri/Elizabeth out a bit instead of us still seeing her as we did, if I remember right, while Elizabeth was recovering in the safehouse). Having said that, I'd kind of like to see them write it in because, as you said, now that Elizabeth & Philip are really in love Elizabeth getting pregnant could be an interesting storyline because they'd actually "want" this child instead of (at least at the beginning) "having" to have it to make their "cover" as an average American couple/family more believable. Not that they don't love Paige & Henry, but Paige & Henry weren't "born of their love" like a potential new child would be; Paige & Henry were born of "duty"... A "lie back & think of England" kind of conception, if you will (&, if I'm also remembering correctly, there was a flashback scene, early on, where Elizabeth was talking to 1 of her superiors/her mentor about recently learning she was pregnant [with Henry], but she was thinking about not having that baby). And having said *that*, I follow the show, & Matthew, on Social Media. So far, the only thing I've seen posted about the pregnancy is the media reports, on Twitter; nothing official from Matthew or the show/the "creatives", or from the show/the "creatives" about how the show plans to deal (or not) with the pregnancy in the storyline. Guess we'll see... Probably sometime in the next 4-5 months-ish (by late Spring/early Summer, maybe May or June if I figured right), if not sooner. If anyone connected to the show posts on Social Media about it, before that, I'll link it here if nobody's done it first.
  20. Apologies if you feel this is a "big" spoiler, but I feel you should know the whole "Charlie & college" thing comes up again later in the series.
  21. They showed Will's first American haircut a few seasons ago (when they got Will in China, his hair was almost "buzzed" short; they started letting it grow & eventually it needed cutting--1 ep showed the family out doing errands, including Jen going for a hair appointment during which her [male] stylist also cut Will's hair). Will didn't seem to like it much; as I remember he at least squirmed a lot. But I don't think he cried over it.
  22. Grease, Saturday Night Fever Producer, Bee Gees' Manager Robert Stigwood Dies at Age 81. http://variety.com/2016/film/news/robert-stigwood-dead-dies-grease-saturday-night-live-bee-gees-1201671915/
  23. During the elimination, Tyler referenced the fact a producer helped with extinguishing the fire. He told the lady involved something like, if the producer/1 of the producers hadn't helped her with the fire, she would've been in real trouble.
  24. The Twitter for Daisy Ridley's Official Fan Page (which is written as if Daisy's writing it, instead of a third party) Tweeted earlier today that Episode VIII starts filming *this month*. Just an FYI. https://mobile.twitter.com/_DaisyRidley_/status/684093492365234177/photo/1
