  1. I don't think they should've pulled the ep in light of the Prince mentions & the irony of his untimely death prior to the airing. As someone else said upthread, it was just a coincidence, & a sad 1 at that. This season was, I'm fairly sure, filmed recently, but long enough ago that nobody connected with it had any reason to suspect anything like Prince's untimely death was gonna happen before this ep aired.
  2. Kelly & Michael won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host(s) for the second year in a row last night (Eastern/Central Time Zones)/tonight (Mountain Time Zone westward). They weren't there (but I think they'd said on a previous show they weren't going); I think the winners' list/article on the ceremony (which wasn't televised this year) that I read online said Dr. Oz accepted on their behalf (which probably also means he was a/the presenter of their category).
  3. Grace is 13 this season, will be (or should be) 14 next season. They've never stated a specific birthdate, but her birthday, when she apparently turned 8, was mentioned as upcoming in Ep 103, towards the end of the ep when Danny finds out that (partially thanks to Steve getting Governor Jameson to apparently block/threaten to block Stan from further real estate development in Hawaii) Rachel has dropped her threat to have Danny's visitation with Grace blocked because his job is "too dangerous" (after the gang-related shooting at the high school football game Grace attends with Danny & the rest of Five-0 at the time, during which Grace was well-protected by Danny, & the team, & was not hurt). Grace runs out of the house & tells Danny she knows what she wants for her birthday: a squishy (probably NERF-type) pink football. After this birthday was mentioned (which apparently is supposed to be in late September--Teilor Grubbs' birthday is September 27th, which is 2 days after Alex & Malia O'Loughlin's son Lion; Teilor is 1 year older in real life than her character, Grace, is said to be in the show & both are now teenagers), or early October perhaps, Grace was said to be 8 for the remainder of S1, & has been aged up a year every season since. Charlie, on the other hand, may have been born on Valentine's Day. At least he was born during the ep that aired on Valentine's Day of S2 (February, 2012). He's now 4 in the show's timeline. And he's been Grace's at least half-brother (same mother, Rachel; supposedly different fathers, Danny & Stan) since he was born, so not just for 6 months. He's only been known to be Grace's full brother (same mother & father, Rachel & Danny), at least to more people than his mother, Rachel, since he got sick & needed a bone marrow transplant to hopefully cure his illness, & Danny needed to be tested as a potential donor... Which he proved to be. This was actually about a year ago already, since Rachel dropped the "Charlie's sick; you need to take a bone marrow compatibility test in case you're a match" bomb on Danny in part of the S5 Finale, which aired last May (though I think later in the month than this season's Finale is airing, which is on May 13th).
  4. While not listed as "Frontrunners", in The Hollywood Reporter's current Emmy (nominations) predictions article, the show & a number of actors in the regular or recurring cast (Matthew, Keri, Alison, Annet & Margo) are seen as definite possibilities for nominations for this year's awards. Most or all are listed in the section a step below "Frontrunners" in their appropriate category--Outstanding Drama Series & Outstanding Lead, Supporting, or Guest Actor/Actress in a Drama Series. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/lists/feinberg-forecast-emmy-predictions-4-837599?utm_source=twitter
  5. Thanks. Even though I proofread, naturally I miss a typo or more before I hit send. I hit the pencil icon, then make my edits like with the old forums, then hit Save (which I assume is still the process). Only my changes won't save & the word REQUIRED is in red at the upper left corner of my post/response (as if the system thinks the post box is blank, or something, apparently, though I can see the post content just fine). And I don't know why the system won't let me (among others, of course) edit but others seem to be able to just fine, because I do see edit notations after at least some posts.
  6. Sorry about the big mess in the above post. For some reason, the new board refuses to let me edit my posts after I post them.
  7. You're welcome. I noticed, after I posted the Tweet last night (which I assume you're referring to), the original poster of the Tweet called Melissa Fitzgerald "Melissa FITZPATRICK" instead. As I remember, "Fitzpatrick" was supposed to have been her character's last name, so whatever. betsyboo[/i], I don't think it's strange you're excited it's "Nerdprom" weekend. I'm at least excited to see the host do his bit (this year it's Larry Willmore; I think he hosts @Midnight [or something else] on Comedy Central) & to see what President Obama & the White House have come up with for their bit this year. It's President Obama's last WHCD, by the way. Next year we get a whole new president at the event, for at least the next 4 years.
  8. Well, Stan bought Grace her first cellphone when she was 8 (Danny learns she has it in Ep 123, when he ends up in the hospital after he's exposed to Sarin on that raid where they're trying to nab Wo Fat & get Sang Min (again) instead. So, it could be possible Stan got Charlie 1 too (especially since Stan raised him as his own for 3 years & only recently found out he was Danny & Rachel's son, thanks to the bone marrow compatibility testing), but maybe it's only operable for games &/or extremely limited call functionality. But really I think the implication there was meant to be that they both probably play the game on Grace's phone. I mean, I don't think Danny was happy Stan bought Grace a cellphone (instead of him, or at least Rachel), let alone when she was 8; so he'd probably think his 4-year-old son having a cellphone was way over the top. Plus, I think if Charlie had his own cellphone, he'd have been as miserable as Grace during that "no phones" time Danny enforced during lunch on Danny & the kids' day together in the recent ep where the Camaro got stolen & Danny ended up using Mamo's bus to chase the car thieves after they passed the car while trying to get back into town to report the theft, or whatever.
  9. I don't know if this will work for completely discarding erroneous posts, but I just screwed up & put an extra quote box in the middle of a quote in a post in another forum; hitting that underlined T with the x next to it, right next to the eye icon at the top of the posting box (at the far right end) removed the extra quote box from where I put it in the other post. Might be worth a try in similar situations.

  11. Here's the Tweet with the above-described pic. For some reason, the new board wasn't taking the edit. Maybe there's a shorter time limit for edits now (shrugs). Anyway... Use the pic.twitter.com/... part to get to the pic.
  12. It's White House Correspondents' Dinner (aka "Nerdprom") Weekend in DC. That's apparently part of the reason Allison is/was in town. I don't know if she, or any other former TWW cast member, is invited to "Nerdprom" this year, but 1 of the TWW feeds on my Twitter had a pic of Allison, Melissa Fitzgerald, & Dulé Hill at 1 of the "pre-parties", sponsored by actors' union SAG-AFTRA, earlier tonight (yes, I'll edit in the link when I find it again).
  13. Michael's name has been in the spoken GMA credits for awhile now, but only on the days he's actually on the show since he's still officially part-time.
  14. So was I (smile). My link was directly from the White House's Facebook page video. Maybe I'll go ahead & share it anyway. https://m.facebook.com/WhiteHouse/
  15. The ATX Fest Tweeted today (I'll have to get the link to the Tweet & add it later) that the TWW panel has apparently been moved from Saturday to Friday, because of other scheduling changes. I know they had an Everybody Loves Raymond cast reunion-type panel scheduled, & that was scrapped after the recent death of actress Doris Roberts, who played Ray's Mom in the show.
  16. Yes, Ian Anthony Dale plays Kono's husband Adam. Before this, he was in a short-lived show on (I think) NBC, called The Event. And right now he's also in TNT's show Murder in the First, which is at least probably partially why Adam's in prison (to cover for his absences to shoot the other show). I thought Fong & Kono would end up together too. Then they put Adam & Kono together out of left field. It was surprising, but I like them together.
  17. As I remember, Paige has had something of a crush on Stan's son, Matthew, since S1 (when he was around more than in S2, S3, & this season so far).
  18. As far as I know, he should be either the main cover story, or 1 of the "smaller picture" cover stories on People magazine's next issue too. And probably on a lot of other major news/celebrity/entertainment & music industry type publications (Billboard, US Weekly, etc.) which still put out print issues.
  19. Anything's possible, I suppose. But I haven't seen or heard anything about Witney possibly being pregnant (yet).
  20. Thanks... I've only heard the ads, not seen them, & I recognized Tyler's voice, but thought the female sounded like Giada & not Valerie. Besides, in some ways it makes at least a little sense to have someone from FNS as a host on Comeback Kitchen since the shows tie together, so Giada made some sense there.
  21. The Minnesota Twins are having something of a tribute to Prince at their home game tonight (I think against the Cleveland Indians). They're encouraging their fans to wear purple to the game & each member of the Twins' starting lineup has picked a different Prince song as the song they walk on the field to. http://www.ew.com/article/2016/04/25/prince-minnesota-twins-tribute-night
  22. I was no older than 5 when The Flying Nun was on TV, & I had the same "pixie" haircut as Sally Field did in the show. And my Halloween costume was, basically, Sally Field's character Sister Bertrille. My Dad even made me that hat out of card stock or some other heavy paper. I also had Sally's doll from the show.
  23. According to the ads, it appears Tyler Florence & Giada are hosts of Comeback Kitchen.
  24. According to her most recent DWTS blog post for People magazine, she has a bad bone bruise but was cleared to return to rehearsal (&, therefore, to dance tonight). http://www.people.com/article/dancing-stars-jodie-sweetin-exclusive-blog-injury
  25. Erin has reached a confidential settlement with the franchise owners of the Marriott hotel near Vanderbilt University in Nashville, where she was surreptitiously videotaped by her stalker while changing clothes. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/erin-andrews-settles-stalking-suit-against-nashville-hotel-n562036
