  2. The funnel cake thing was kinda stupid; a time waster to try to spread the teams' selling time out more. But then, if I remember right, the waffle grilled cheese team found their key last but managed to stay in the game anyway.
  3. Oddly enough, Fox News has a female newscaster/reporter/show host named Ainsley. Ainsley Earhardt. (I think she replaced Elisabeth Hasselbeck on the Fox & Friends weekday morning show when EH left awhile back, but not that long ago).
  4. From TV Guide's website.... Lucifer MegaBuzz: Does Lucifer Have the Hots for His Mom? http://www.tvguide.com/news/lucifer-season-2-spoilers-mom-tricia-helfer-tom-ellis/
  5. Yeah. And in Venom, didn't the guy choose his mother over his wife in the end?
  6. Thanks. I couldn't think of Wiz's name when I posted. And like you I don't watch anything with the Kardashian/Jenners in it, if I can help it (my love for Hawaii Five-0 superceded the fact Kendall Jenner had a 1-scene part in 1 episode of the show, a few seasons ago, though; & I didn't boycott DWTS when they were on either), but I know way too much about them anyway because the mass media refuses to stop covering them! Honestly, I have no problem with Caitlyn (Bruce) because at least she reached her fame legitimately, by winning the Olympic Decathlon Gold Medal when she was still Bruce. I just have a problem with Kris & her kids--at least her daughters--& how they got, & stay, famous.
  7. She's not Rob Kardashian's fiancée/baby mama, if that's what you mean; that's Blac Chyna, another female rapper who's the ex of Tyga, Kylie Jenner's on & off partner. Whether or not Amber Rose merely knows the Kardashian/Jenners, I can't remember. I do know Amber was married to another rapper, with whom she has a young son.
  8. Apologies for the strikeout in half my last post. I thought I fixed it & I don't know how it messed up again. It's done that in other forums/threads too, even though I don't see an icon I could've hit to cause a strikeout in the post frame, nor am I adding any coding in my post to result in a strikeout. Anyway, I'm glad the post is still legible.
  9. Bodhi Elfman is/was Mr. Scratch (haven't seen his ep)? That's a "6 Degrees of Thomas Gibson", for those who weren't aware. Bodhi's wife is Jenna Elfman, who was Dharma to Thomas's Greg in Dharma & Greg.
  10. I just Googled the Amish show (I couldn't figure out where it was on his IMDb page). That was Vanilla Ice Goes Amish on HGTV in 2013.
  11. As @storyskip said, it was the music in the White House for the holidays--in general, & not just the brass quintet--which triggered Josh's PTSD. He also had an "attack"/flashbacks to injuring his hand while listening to Yo-Yo Ma's performance at the White House Christmas Party for Members of Congress in the ep. It wasn't the suicidal pilot who triggered the PTSD; he was just something for Josh to conveniently obsess over at the time he was in his PTSD-related turmoil. And the pilot was an Air Force pilot, not an airline pilot as in the marathon article. If I remember correctly, that event was based on at least 1 real-life event back in that era. I think the real Air Force pilot & his plane were found somewhere in New Mexico. @jacksgirl I think Leo's line about the choice of candidates was "I'm tired of choosing between the lesser of 'Who cares?'", or something close to that. @reggiejax It's interesting you liked Donna/Janel Moloney so much from the get-go. I liked her too. But many others don't see her appeal &/or consider her the weakest actress/character in the show.
  12. For some reason, I can't quote the right post. Anyway... I just wanted to say @hiccup is right. President Bartlet isn't speaking at his daughter Zoey's college in the S1 finale, though she is with him. Jed's actually doing a televised "town hall meeting" on MSNBC at what is now the former location of The Newseum in Rosslyn, VA. A few years after the ep, The Newseum relocated; I think to Washington, DC proper. It may or may not still be open; I can't remember. And Zoey went to Georgetown University. Just by the way.
  13. GSN (Game Show Network) did a revival of Newlywed Game a few years back, which Sherri hosted (while she was also on The View). I don't think it lasted very long. GSN still runs it after midnight some nights.
  14. Watching the first ep with Robert Vaughn as Schiff's friend turned nemesis, Carl Anderton, right now on WE's Schiff marathon. Mental illness or not, the character was a big bully, in my opinion. And Vaughn played him to perfection (Was he ever nominated for an Emmy for the role? He should've been.); especially in the scene when he breaks down in front of Adam, Jamie, & Jack after they tell him they've discovered his secret bipolar disorder. Every time 1 of the Anderton eps comes up, I love to hate him (he recurs because he backs a slimy judge as the next DA because of the wrong he believes Adam, et al, did to him, personally, though he wasn't the accused, in the original episode). And I hate that he won't have his grandson, who also is bipolar, treated--as Jack & company recognize he needs to be--apparently because he's afraid his own bipolar disorder will be discovered.
  15. I have to say it really bugs that Guy always says "The person leaving, checking out, etc., will be... " instead of "The person... is...".
  16. I didn't hear how much the property damage fine is this season, but they showed a marathon of a previous season before the new ep & at least 1 of the old eps involved docking a truck for property damage. The fine for that season was $250, according to Tyler when he went over the truck totals & announced the fine in that old ep (he said the $250 covered the deductible); so I suppose the fine for property damage this season would be comparable.
  17. Ryan was booked before the robbery/false charges scandal, according to the producers. It's mentioned in other, more general, season threads & I read the same thing elsewhere earlier today.
  18. As already said, Jana's an up & coming country singer. And at the end of last week, she announced her separation from her ex-NFL player husband who was entering rehab for treatment of an undisclosed condition. They have a 7-month-old daughter, Jolie. She also was in the TV show One Tree Hill.
  19. Just a couple of small things in reply: 1. Jewel & the rodeo guy (Ty Murray) divorced, I think, a couple of years ago now. It was publicized, but also kept kinda quiet. 2. Yeah, Vanilla Ice has done some other reality stuff. I think a couple of shows on DIY network having to do with home building &/or renovation, & something more recently that involved the Amish, as I remember (I don't think that was on DIY network, but can't remember which cable channel it was on); I think he had to live as they do, or something similar. He might've been in the casts of other shows, like Celebrity Rehab, etc., but I can't remember. The shows about home building/renovation I'm pretty positive about though; the Amish show I'm not quite as positive about.
  20. Here, for those interested, is the entire statement released by Gene Wilder's family on his passing. I apologize if some of you can't read it/read it well; it's a screencap I got in a ReTweet. Hopefully the text is a bit larger than in the link I originally posted. This is just the statement itself, which is the way I wanted to share it as opposed to people having to scan a longer article/obit to find the specific statement by his family. https://mobile.twitter.com/AustinHunt/status/770353396700282881?p=v
  21. On August 22, Deadline announced Fred was in the cast of a new series for Netflix, co-starring Cobie Smulders & Keegan-Michael Key, among others. http://deadline.com/2016/08/keegan-michael-key-cobie-smulders-annie-parisse-fred-savage-cast-friends-from-college-nick-stoller-netflix-comedy-series-1201806715/
  22. If you mean 3PM Eastern, WGNA hasn't aired it there in a long time. For a long time they were airing, like, 4 eps in a row from 9AM-1PM Eastern on Fridays. Then they changed that to some other schedule I forget. For most of the last month, they've been airing the end of Jamie Ross as Jack's ADA & the Abbie Carmichael as Jack's ADA eps... At 4AM Eastern 5 days a week & 5AM Eastern 1 other day a week. Now their schedule for this week shows The Mothership airing at just 9AM Eastern this morning (Monday) & Friday morning, & airing at both 4AM Eastern & 9AM Eastern tomorrow (Tuesday), Wednesday, & Thursday morning (a different ep in each timeslot). I don't know if that's permanent or just for this week though. I didn't know about it earlier, but it turns out ION has been airing The Mothership since about 11AM or Noon Eastern today. They're airing it until the usual end time, 1AM Eastern. It appears to be Jack/Rubirosa/Cutter/Lupo/Bernard/Van Buren eps. That's the cast I've seen since I found the marathon anyway. Even with today's marathon, ION is still scheduled to run the usual Wednesday Marathon, from either 11AM or Noon Eastern to 1AM Eastern Thursday morning. At least according to the listings on the Titan TV site. I checked.
  23. Getting the key to their food truck was contingent upon them finding which funnel cake (I think the plate) the key was hidden in/under. The teams all got $300 in seed money for last night's round.
  24. Tom Tweeted a few hours ago that 2 of the S23 couples will be on GMA with him tomorrow, & that he loves both pros but has really missed 1 of them (Cheryl reference, since she's been gone awhile?). He also said the entire cast will be with him on GMA on September 7th (in a different Tweet than the quoted 1). https://mobile.twitter.com/Tom_Bergeron/status/770359399185539074?p=v And Marilu Henner's memory ability is called "Highly-Superior Autobiographical Memory" (or H-SAM), as opposed to eidetic memory. She was apparently a technical advisor on the CBS & A&E TV show Unforgettable, & something of the model for the lead character who was a female police detective with the same extraordinary memory ability.
  25. Just as an FYI, the Titan TV listings website had last night's ep listed as the Season Finale. Of course that might be wrong since they showed a repeat the first weekend of the Summer Olympics.
