  1. If it helps, I think the original interns (Mere, Alex, Izzie, George, Christina) were interns for three seasons. Though I could swear they said something about Adams needing to repeat his intern year? It's not entirely clear. Yeah, I believe Jo adopted the baby of a nurse at the hospital who died after childbirth?
  2. For whomever in the audience Schmidt in his underwear was meant for, hope you enjoyed it! Nico had the charisma of a block of wood. Levi could flirt with a park bench and there would be more chemistry. Ben is dying his hair at this point, no? I could swear he used to be a lot more grey and suddenly his hair is an unnatural shade of black. I'm also a little confused about his residency. He's several years ahead of the interns, right?
  3. Given how many Hudson students/professors seem to have been involved in crimes over the years, I expected a long line of suspects for this one. More seriously, there is no reality where Riley would have continued as the detective in this matter once his brother became an informant. (As a side note, while I appreciate both actors, I don't buy them as brothers. They look nothing alike, there is nothing about how they acted with one another that I saw that would convince me there were years of shared history and Eggold was trying to do some kind of accent that just did not work.)
  4. I thought that was the best part of the episode. The rest was kind of meh. I totally get the freak out over ringworm at the school, but everything felt very paint by numbers. There were no real surprises or twists in what was a fairly mundane episode.

  6. If Evan just turned 35, he was a young child during the 90s. Not to mention, he's about two generations removed from the baby boomers. But yeah, he was awful with his student.
  7. I did notice how much they've sidelined the character so far this season, and it does make it obvious how easily you could cut David from the cast without it really changing much. When they were alone at the end of the episode, she did refer to Bebe as "Mother," and Bebe called herself "Mummy." Now I know that could just be another bonkers Bebe tic, but I do think we were supposed to take that as confirmation they were mother and daughter.
  8. He is way too self-centered to be the person that kid needed at the moment.
  9. I thought the best moment was the studio audience going crazy when the opening chords of Edge of Seventeen started playing.
  10. Is it just me, or is Gina Gershon slowly morphing into Raquel Welch? I realize Doctor Odyssey is not a good show. I also realize they aren't trying for realism. Having said that, if my nose fell off during a cruise, that's my last day on the boat. I'm getting off at the next port and flying back to wherever I came from so my nose could be reattached. I'm not going to stick it out until the end of the cruise because it is horrifying to know my nose is not on my face.
  11. Everything Sydney said about Ben and his inability to stick to a career path was true. Her comment about what was going to happen when Ben was distracted by the next shiny object was completely on point. That Ben threw a fit and walked away from the interview should have been the end of it. That she hired him anyways was totally eye rolling. Also wondered how DNR lady who hated her ex-husband so much that she wanted to refuse an advanced directive out of spite so she could outlive him, had no idea he was already dead. That seems like something she would have kept close tabs on.
  12. I live in the Philadelphia School District. I checked the demographics on the K-8 school about a block away from my home. The vast majority of students at the school are black, but it does also have a sizable population of white students, with a much smaller population of Hispanic students. I then took a look at a K-8 over in West Philadelphia where I think they suggested Abbott was located. It's student population is about 95% black with a few Asian and Hispanic students. It says it has one white student.
  13. I laughed for what must have been a full minute at the idea of Olivia Benson as a globally recognized expert in anything.

  15. The best I can tell is Markie gets an ego boost, in that he thinks a fuss is being made over his potentially leaving. None of it makes much sense. I'd just like to see the main characters get more development. It's seven episodes in and I feel like I couldn't tell you much about any of them.
  16. In fairness, L&O crossovers between series have been happening since SVU began.
  17. Wasn't she sucked through the hole just as the plane was beginning its descent? She's not being rescued. She's dead.
  18. I will say that Joshua Jackson is a charming presence, and he does elevate the material somewhat, even if the way the show is playing it, I feel very much like he's going to be in a threesome with his nurses. As for the episode itself, it just made the ship seem common and gross. I just wanted to be like: "Remember, it's a cruise ship, not an orgy." I also kind of giggle at how everyone seems to have giant cabins and the medical facilities are absolutely bonkers.
  19. When everyone was talking about how groundbreaking Catherine was, I felt like I missed something. My recollection is she ran her ex-husband's father's family's foundation. She also helped cover up for Harper Avery when he had a lot of sexual harassment claims brought against him, but instead of taking the fall when that information came out, the foundation was renamed after her, for reasons. Why is she supposed to be such a trailblazer?
  20. I didn't understand the protests at the courthouse. The guy was accused of rape, assault and murder. What were the people even protesting?
  21. I'll admit that if the show was just Athena being forced to land doomed airplanes each week, I would watch that. Angela Bassett sells the ridiculousness of the show to the point where she should have her own special Emmy. I did roll my eyes at Bobby calling cut on the filming of the scene at the show he is advising. I remember reading an interview with a doctor who I believe served as an advisor for either ER or Grey's Anatomy. They might show the actors how to mime a procedure, help explain to them what is going on in a medical scene or correctly pronounce medical terms. That's mostly it.
  22. I don't think you can continue talking to a potential witness if their lawyer has told you they have representation, and that any questions to the witness need to go through the lawyer.
  23. The video of the perp beating another woman was legit horrifying. It was interesting to see the new lieutenant at the crime scene, looking at evidence and participating in the early, investigatory parts of the case. Really, she shouldn't have been on this case at all. Arthur Branch would have fired her for being too much of an advocate, and she'd have to reveal she had secretly been a lesbian the whole time.
