I think many of us do that too, CyberJawa, most of the time anyway. This show's insufferable as it is. It would be downright intolerable without this forum to talk about it. I turned it off when the Fuller Crap started today.

I've also noticed the return of the loud, screechy audience lately. They had fortunately toned that down at the beginning of LAST season, but TPTB decided that past annoyances were back in vogue. That or the eardrum-splitting helps distract viewers from listening too closely to what is spewed. Hee! How dare this show make employees do actual work. Damn them. I'm wondering if they'll remind viewers tomorrow that there's still time to get those great baby shower gifts at incredible discounts! Maybe they'll have Sherri on to make the cringe-worthy and inappropriate breast-pump joke.

And they got the baby monitor/nanny cam that looks like an owl. After a week+ of no internet/cable TV, my first show back and it's a baby shower for Sara. Now it's pretty obvious to me that GMA placed Sara on The Spew so they wouldn't have to deal with such? I don't know how much longer Whoops can fake being happy that Sara is there, and Joy is like ... whatever. Both Mother of the Century Miss Whoopi and Joy had their huge broods of one child each many years ago. Joy doesn't offer much advice while WG is the infallible authority on parenting. I guess this ep was a nice change of pace though for viewers who are into this sort of thing. Sara seemed genuinely touched, so there's that. Yes, expect her to be an introduced-in-the-opening-credits permanent cohost next season.

Thanks for that info, Cranberry! That's actually a very generous term for a series that has so much potential, but instead sabotages its own characters with ridiculous plots & storylines to the point that it becomes a hate-watching experience & fodder for snark. It's beyond a bad soap opera.
