Well fuck!

I totally get your frustration. My further opinion on the Sara addition is that the show is morphing into GMA's 3rd or 4th hour, and will officially become that by the time Joy's contract is up. Some of you fine folks have already tossed that idea around.

Whoopi, Jedidamndiah, Joy, Sunny, Paula. Seriously, Whoopi's just in the way now. She's all mouth & her way or the highway. Everybody's just tolerating her & biding their time til the new season. Look for Joy, Sara Haines, Sunny, Paula & a cohost to be named later as the new staple lineup. Go away, Stacy London.

Another teaser clip from the series finale: -
Sorry, missed that, MC, although I did watch that interview. It looks like the Nashville finale may be good. Too bad it's too little too late.
-
I absolutely love the "hair" that Raven has worn the last two days, and those glasses she wore today were really flattering. Too bad they do nothing to help what comes out of her mouth.
-
Wow. I totally missed the previews (I was busy helping Daphne pick the liquor cabinet lock) but I also hope Will destroys that hater woman on her show. That's one of the most ridiculous things this show has done.
-
I've always liked her. I think she was on a few episodes of Weeds & was one of the girls in the skinner's well in Silence of the Lambs. LOL ..... and humming Maddie's song about being a bad, bad girl .....
-
It's hard to say, Court. I really think you should stick it out with the rest of us. This show is like the Titanic, and we'll find out next week if there are any lifeboats left.

I kinda got a kick out of the sadistic photog urging Scarlett to dredge up her most painful feelings to get genuine looking shots. It reminded me of stories I heard about how Shirley Temple's directors would tell her to imagine her pets or her parents dying so they could capture her crying on film. And that Autumn has no shame whatsoever. If I can't get in Gunnar's pants using James Taylor, I'll just use Elton John, by god!

^^^^ "spewww* DeLurker. I thought for a second that Avery was gonna bolt from the stage & head to Juliette's to see what the big emergency phone call was all about.

DH's acting: Stiff as a wooden spoon?
-
I would never have thought that Luke Wheeler would wind up being one of the last good things about this show. Drayna sucked the life out of it.

So, will Luke's family emergency involve Colt being hurt during basic training?

Oh lord. There's goes Sherri talking about her new bachelor show. I can't take anymore....
-
Well, of course Megyn Kelly was gonna softball the Trump interview. She's a FAUX head, and of course Trump would never agree to do it if his feet were held to the fire. Raven was close to being correct there. That interview was never going to be more than FAUX's attempt to garner more favor for him. And the mere suggestion that Kelly is the next Babs is ludicrous. Babs may have had credibility of asking the "hard" questions once, but that was eons ago
-
C'mon, MC. There's no need to insult rocks. I'm just now turning on today's show. My head may explode from Sherri's already beaming, fake smile.

I believe I would feel less peeved at the cancellation if we hadn't been fed the prospect of new show-runners. I was quite excited to see what transformations Zwick/Herskovitz could have implemented. This is actually the exact same kind of shit they've pulled with the plot lines that destroyed the show. Tease us with great moments then blow it to piecs. The awesome chemistry that Juliette/Avery produced was a golden moment for the show, but noooooo, that lasted all of two seconds. Then Rayna & Deacon FINALLY cement their lifelong bond & have their perfect family & all's right with the most pivotal players, but hell nooooo, let's make a normally decent teenager turn her into The Bad Seed with shades of Carrie. Maybe we'll still get buckets of pig's blood before the finale. This show also reminds me of that ABC series "Brothers & Sisters" - phenomenal cast (Sally Field, Matthew Rhys, Rachel Griffiths, Calista Flockhart, Rob Lowe) with unlimited potential, but the writing was so preposterous that it quickly became unwatchable. I will miss all my fellow posters here. We all liked the things that were really good & we all drove off the cliff together.

This show hasn't respected nor given much consideration to its audience in years. I don't see why they would start now. Well, tossing Whoopi & Raven would show me that they're at least leaning in the right direction. I know I'm old & out of touch but that nose ring in Raven's "best friend's" nose was a real distraction. I just cannot comprehend the desire to "adorn" one's mucus membrane. 'Snot very flattering IMO. Oops, just realized this should be in the episode thread.
-
I thought Pamela A was a little pissy trying to shush them for talking about Trump.
-
I can only imagine the ton of pressure & anxiety Raven must feel when getting a mani. I mean come on. She might actually have put her phone down for a few minutes! I've heard that Twitter withdrawals are hell!

LSSC: Season One All Episodes Talk
Fisher King replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Late Show With Stephen Colbert
All true about Melanie. Never seemed Oscar-worthy at all. I did enjoy her in "Something Wild" w/Jeff Daniels. Maybe that's because I accidentally wound up on a set where they were filming part of the movie. -

Dakota Johnson's acting is terrible as well. Always enjoy Rob Reiner. I can't believe he grabbed Mary Tyler Moore's ass on the set of Dick Van Dyke Show when he was 14. I think it's so cool his dad & Mel Brooks hang out every day. They are probably what keeps each other alive. -
Ha! An article about fact-checking should at least get the cast names right! I have had more than a couple people change their attitude about Drumpf since Tuesday. Since he is even closer to the White House ( ye gods forbid) the attitude is more toward acceptance while disregarding what he is - and has said since he announced his run. I just don't get it.
