  1. Scott Evans (Oliver Fish) is filming a guest spot on "The Rookie: Feds" this week. I hope he gets to be in scenes with Niecy Nash! https://www.instagram.com/p/Ckl66qfSCW2/
  2. The Serena mentions both make me happy and make me annoyed that she's spent her adult soap life completely off-screen. And yes, given what happened just this week with The Parents Liz, the odds of her being ruined if she did manage to get on-screen are high, but still, it's even more glaringly dumb this year given all the story avenues to bring her on - her alleged half-brother showing up, her mom going missing, etc.
  3. Interesting theory. I'd enjoy that outcome if only because it would knock Kerry and Amy down a peg. Speaking of, this twist with Kerry being Chloe's mom is dumb. It feels like a lazy redo of Vanessa and Tracy finding out they're sisters. In more enjoyable news, Belle poking and prodding Chas with questions while her eyes clearly communicated she knew Chas was full of s--- was maybe the most I've ever liked her. Chas is playing this all wrong with her smug snappiness, the Dingles are already going to turn on her HARD in favor of Paddy, she needs to be winning over some allies. And Kim and Will teaming up to take on Dawn's feckless ex, with Kim decked out in fur, was fantastic. I like that these two can be a bit naughty together, without one of them judging the other.
  4. Holy hell, Chas. Her smug self-righteousness during her visit with Cain today, trying to push the blame off herself, was unbeliveable. And I had totally forgotten about Al being with and two-timing Debbie, which makes Chas' decision to get involved with him extra gross given the Cameron of it all.
  5. ...wow. I didn't think anything could be worse than the return of Liz's rapist being All About Franco, but making the decades-long estrangement from The Parents Liz All About Dr. Michael Easton takes the cake.
  6. Not looking forward to the days if not weeks we're in for of Chas all sad about Al's death and now being "stuck" with Paddy, ugh. Also, maybe not a great choice for Kerry to be screeching about justice being served given the manslaughter she totally got away with a few years ago.
  7. Is that "Murder, She Wrote" the one with Mulgrew as a snooty heiress whose necklace gets stolen during an overnight flight to London?
  8. I haven't seen any of it, but this whole thing with tying Dr. Michael Easton's dead wife WE NEVER CARED ABOUT into Liz's backstory with The Parents Liz sounds very silly.
  9. I was probably in to watch anyway, but the return of Georgina definitely seals the deal. I hope she destroys stupid Kate Keller in like five seconds flat.
  10. How did I forget (or maybe I never knew?) that David Fumero (Cristian Vega) is the guy who frolics on the beach with Mariah Carey at the end of the "Honey" video.
  11. I am VERY behind, but what's the deal with Lucy? People think she's dead or missing, but we know she's alive? And I hear Serena was contacted, was there a reason given why she's not rushing to Port Charles? Or taking instructions from doctors or nurses with senior authority like Liz. ETA...so Carly just had a whole thing about her adopted mom, but instead of just changing her last name back to Benson, which it once was, she's going with Spencer, a last name she never used? What?
  12. I usually really like Chas, but yeah, she's been absolutely horrible in this affair storyline. Her twisting around Paddy's attempts to support her and her family into something selfish in the midst of what she's doing was unreal. I don't understand where this contempt for him has come from.
  13. I'd much rather see Sarah or Steven Lars, I'd be curious to see how The Parents Liz potentially treat each kid differently.
  14. They recast Heather? Not that we need to see her (I'm still detoxing from all her Franco-centered stints), but if we are, why is it not Mattson?
  15. I think we're supposed to hate Samson for his harsh reaction to his baby, but I found it quite interesting. So many soaps, particularly US ones, are usually all, "Yay being a teen parent is the best!" and I liked the inversion of the "Once they lay eyes on their child, all the doubts fall away!" trope with him today. It's an echo of what happened with Debbie and Sarah forever ago. Also, it's clear they've pivoted Samson this way because they're going hard on Noah's 180 flip so they can push the Noah/Amelia pairing, about which I do not care.
  16. The 50th anniversary was...kinda weak, yeah? I'm guess I'm a little sad we lost Harriet, but I've never been a big fan of Liv (and how her presence changed the writing for Aaron) so wasn't sad to see her go. I dunno, nothing had the impact of Cameron killing Carl during the 40th.
  17. As I often have when they've come up recently, I am curious to know what if anything the Parents Liz know about Rebecca Budig. Speaking of Liz sisters, this wouldn't be a bad moment to try and reboot Sarah too, bring in a whole slice of the clan British soap style.
  18. Congratulations, everyone! Even more than Cameron getting SORAS-ed, I truly thought this was a day that would never come. But wow, Liz's dad is Alison's married lover slash cuckoo-pants stalker Keith from early "Melrose Place"! Maybe he'll do this to Dr. Michael Easton!
  19. So I've very randomly been watching clips of 90s "Melrose Place" spin-off "Models Inc." on YT and I guess Emma Samms (Holly Sutton) was brought in to Heather Locklear it up as a "Special Guest Star" uberbitch in a last-ditch effort to save the show: How was that received at the time? From what I've seen...she's fine, but maybe not enough of a shot of Amanda Woodward-esque energy?
  20. Ooof Chas is really becoming unlikable in this affair storyline. It was almost a mistake the writers let Aaron bring up her pulling this same shit on Paddy with Carl because at least, then, Carl was a well-established love slash weak spot for Chas, it was only once before Paddy found out, etc. I get that this is a soap and Chas and Paddy have been together for a long while now, but it's a baaaad color on Chas.
  21. I mean, I guess she's acting a bit like a spoiled brat, but I'm kinda on Tracy's side. Ken, she's not saying you need to spend the rest of your life alone pining for Dierdre (she got onboard with Claudia eventually, didn't she?), but do you really have to pick the woman who you had an affair with during her formative years? So Billy, Todd, and Paul are all single and spend their days clucking about stupid Summer? Cooooooooooool.
  22. The weirdest thing about Hannah is that they pivoted her - they made it so she wasn't responsible for Marty's fall and then drew all sorts of parallels between her and Marty, Marty even vouched for her in court and took her in, IIRC. But then, bloop, she went even more nuts than before overnight and tried to bury Starr and Crybaby James alive.
  23. I enjoyed Shirley getting several ones over Phil and the Mitchells this week.
  24. She certainly did what she could with an absolute mess of a character. The only times Hannah was remotely interesting were 1) opposite TSJ when "Todd" had her kidnapped at some point and 2) in early 2012 when she broke out of jail and terroized Sam et. al. But everything with Cole and Ford and Crybaby James was zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
  25. Agreed, the only "see, totally different character!" hair styling choice that worked when the OLTL 3 came back to GH. Speaking of, I'll take this opportunity to once again say that the ending for John McBain the whole kerfuffle led to - him disappearing alone into an endless undercover FBI assignment - was extremely true to who John is IMO.
