  1. The vibe I get from this show lately is more Rosemary's Baby than The Omen, which is fine with me because I like Rosemary's Baby so much better. From the dream that might not be a dream, to the all-encompassing conspiracy that leaves Damien feeling completely isolated and helpless, it makes you wonder if Damien really is who he is said to be or if he is the chosen victim of a fanatical cult. The "dream" did clue us in on who Damien wants to be. And Armitage Global reminds me of Wolfram & Hart, the evil law firm from Angel whose mission was to usher in tbe apocalypse.
  2. I'm a little sad there isn't more interest in this show because I think it's starting to hit its stride. I love how the trippy nature of the last two episodes echoes Damien's own confusion, and I'm finding myself planted firmly in Damien's corner. That seems like such a strange place to be!
  3. (From the official episode synopsis:) Damien is led to a beloved figure from his past and confronts Rutledge as he begins to unravel the conspiracy surrounding him.
  4. During that "Victor Lost in LA" story, Victor led a worker's revolt to stand up to the evil corporation that didn't care about the safety of its employees. I was hoping like crazy that we would learn that NE actually owned that company!
  5. Bonnie Franklin was the nun who hung out at the bar on the docks. Actually, Billy did help him because he realized Victor wasn't taking his anti-rejection meds. I'm pretty sure Billy was the one who brought him back to GC.
  6. I'm quoting myself because it dawned on me that the bolded part is precisely the reason why they keep bringing Ian back.
  7. Sadly, I agree. The character had so much potential and should have been a good foil for Victor. But he's another casualty of the Victor Always Wins rule, so I'm not sure why they keep bringing him back. But I do like RW.
  8. Jeffrey Dean Morgan doesn't do a thing for me, and he never has. But that guy in the riot gear (I believe he has officially been dubbed "Tron Knight") offering help to Morgan and Carol? Yeah...he can stay. Please! I don't normally mind cliffhangers, but it is a long, long time to wait...
  9. Sometimes I wonder what celebrity photos she had taped in her locker during her teen years, just because that's what the obvious favoritism of her pets reminds me of. But now, she's in a position of power to tape those pictures on our tv screens every day. Based on her extremely dubious taste, my best guess is an Osmond. Not Donny, of course. One of the lesser Osmonds, like Wayne or Ken. Was there a Ken? Or Ernie from My Three Sons.
  10. I can do without all the animal violence. I get that it's a show about the antichrist, but I think they can still make their point without it. Bradley James sure brings the pretty.
  11. Lucian's hair turned almost completely gray so quickly. Not that I'm complaining or anything, Silver Fox! It's just that it's usually a pretty gradual thing, and his hair was not nearly this gray last season (nor did it look like he had been coloring it).
  12. I just thought that Norma was reacting to Emma's advice, that Norma had done the right thing by getting Norman help and now she could breathe and focus on herself. It's sweet that Emma is all about breathing!
  13. Norman never even knew about Marion's $40,000. He unwittingly put it in her car with the rest of her things (and her body) before sinking the car. "These were crimes of passion, not profit."

My heart sank when Rick and Morgan were crossing that field and saw the walker wearing clothes similar to Carol's. I don't find it hypocritical (or lazy writing) that Rick is now "ok" with Carol having killed David and Karen. Is it not possible to have a change of heart about something once you have the benefit of hindsight, or just to forgive somebody with time? I know I'm not the same person I was two years ago. At the core, yes, but life happens and gives you different perspectives. That must happen in an amplified manner when you've experienced everything they have.
  15. They're kidding, right? The Y&R writers are nominated?!? The only way Pratt should get anywhere near an Emmy is if it's used to examine his prostate. Please let Ashlyn Pearce win. Please let Kathy Griffin host. I mean, I know I say I don't give a fuck, and I don't really, but I kinda do. Sort of. Aww, you know what I mean!
  16. Ok, that makes more sense. During the conversation with John, I thought they were saying Damien had actually lived in the White House before he was sent to boarding school.
  17. Why was Nicole surprised about Sasha? I thought she had said that Sasha had a history of going after boys Nicole liked?
  18. Me, too. Dem cheekbones! Why did Damien spend time in The White House as a child? Or did I mis-hear something?
  19. Can we recruit a Prevert to break in to HK's house and steal the Polaroids she has of JFP and Les Moonves fistfucking a goat in the middle of a pentagram? Especially since HK brought the goat! Enough, already.
  20. Ha! Maybe she's not feeling Billy Munster, either! I really liked her on GL, and I'm liking her here, too. And I didn't even hate MS as Phyllis. GT is doing what good re-casts do...she's making Phyllis her own while still respecting the character and what her predecessor brought to the role.
  21. The actors did suck, but I'd like the characters to come back at some point with better actors!
  22. ^It struck me today when Marisa called Noah out on being "mature" that blonde teenage Noah was actually more mature than this guy.
  23. I even sat through one of those terrible Airport movies because TL was in it! But I agree that PB is another example of a perfect re-cast.
  24. Something tells me Deacon has a couple of lives left in him.
