I think he's full of shit with most of the "wild and crazy" stories he tells, and I hope you're right about the goat story being pure fiction. Still, though, even as a bullshit story, it's remarkable that he thought it was just a funny little anecdote to tell the folks at the water cooler.

valleycliffe, like Stitch, I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on tv. But have you looked into turmeric or capsaicin to help with pain relief? They're supposed to have anti-inflammatory properties. I just checked the Arthritis Foundation website (www.arthritis.org), and they have a list of 9 natural supplements that are "backed by science to show effectiveness for RA". It takes a while (as in weeks/months) to feel results, so some patience is required, but it could be worth checking out. Of course, check with your doctor before taking anything, because even natural remedies can interact with other medications you take. Me, too. I wonder how long it takes to get the test results?

Wow...I'm often blown away and humbled by how eloquent you all are. I really shouldn't be allowed to post here, since I'm so far out of my league. A PeeWee amongst Nobel laureates. For what it's worth, I have a few Wiccan spells going for NP and Peaches...don't worry, nothing freaky...just a blue candle for Ninja, a green candle for Peaches, thyme, sage (not that Sage), and sea salt. Unlike most of these newbies, there could have been a lot of possibilities for MEK. Every soap needs a doctor (not Stench, who graduated from some online Caribbean medical school). Or he could have worked in Jabot's lab. If he and Ashley had gotten serious, he's an Abbott by marriage. Then Nikki eyes him and she and Ashley are rivals again, over somebody other than Victor.
