  1. I know, that's so wrong... ... and funny.
  2. I just started watching this on Netflix. Normally, people like Pia would drive me nuts; and, in real life, someone like Pia would avoid me and I would avoid her. But I like the character... for some reason.
  3. From the NY Times: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/27/realestate/home-makeover-renovation-lawsuit.html They're kinda late with this story, as usual...
  4. I'm watching the episode tonight with the family from upstate NY in Canandaigua. Is it just me or is one person's voice incredibly... nasal?
  5. You know, it reminded of the parties Phaedra had for her kids. But at least those were entertaining and most people seemed to have fun.
  6. Ralph kind of reminds me of Porsha's first husband, the ex-football player... what was his name?... Kordell.
  7. Ralph's rhetorical acrobatics regarding whether or not he is still "talking" to his "fired" assistant reveal that he is, in fact, still talking to her and/or (thinking about) sleeping with her. And I hope someone in Drew's family, someone who really loves her, takes her aside and tells her she deserves better.
  8. It bothers me that Drew can’t seem to recognize that she’s in an abusive marriage. Also, did her baby ever get blessed?
  9. Literally! 🙂 I liked the first episode and I'm looking forward to the next. Initially I did not like Natasha (I was drawn to her two friends at the beginning), and I'm still not sure if I do at the end of the episode. But she's funny.
  10. Is there a section to talk about "Kandi and the Gang"?
  11. I'm disappointed that it's not returning with Uzo Aduba. It was refreshing to see her in this role and the show raised so many important topics related to black excellence and respectability.
  12. I would love to see a show featuring Shorty and his family/friends. I wonder if they ever considered a show for him.
  13. I just discovered this show on HBO. It's amazingly funny, without making the characters act like stereotypes. I also love seeing the two men graduating from community college.
  14. Has it been revealed what happened to Holly?
  15. Who do people think would have made a “good” Marian, if that role was re-cast…. A Jennifer Lawrence-type person? An Elie Kemper?
  16. This episode needed more of Miss Scott.
  17. Yes, this is what I love about Edith Wharton who was "Old New York."
  18. OMG, this is brilliant. I'd watch this show.
  19. I came here to post how much I like this show, too. It so nice to see working-class people portrayed as human beings and not stereotypes.
  20. Has anyone actually seen Home Work before it was pulled? How was it?
  21. Same. I hope they do this again but maybe for a non-reunion look.
  22. This is not about Succession specifically but about a Succession-like family, the Sacklers. The Sacklers have been in the news the past few years because of the family's role in Purdue Pharma, Oxycontin, and the opioid crisis. I saw a documentary on the opioid crisis and the Sacklers, and I just wondered how much the writers/producers of the show are drawing upon what's been reported on that family, if at all... https://www.businessinsider.com/who-are-the-sacklers-wealth-philanthropy-oxycontin-photos-2019-1
  23. So… the whole cruise line story is gone now?
  24. Doesn't he look like a younger (and probably nicer) Jim Comey?
