  1. Daisy's always been quick to sacrifice herself (and I wish the universe would take her up on that) but she's hella stubborn. I don't think she had a particular opinion on Fitz going to the planet thing, but she was very clear that she didn't want her powers restored. Getting Daisy to change her mind once it's made up just doesn't happen (and it wouldn't have happened here). Writer's fiat may often make Daisy's choice the right choice but from the point of view of characters I can understand why Fitz felt that he wasn't going to be able to (1) convince Daisy that restoring her powers was right and (2) going past Coulson, Mack and May who would have also prevented the restoration because of the risk to their precious protege/daughter/partner. Agreed. But I don't see that happening here. Deke isn't pursuing Daisy. He was concerned because he likes her so he went to help. And under the influence of drugs he told people who are not Daisy that he likes her. No pursuing happening here, nor any assuming that her 'no' is a 'yes'. Now if Daisy changes her mind or begins to like aspects of Deke (he's smart, adaptable, tries to help her, likes her, sacrifice his life to help them come home) - she should be allowed to do that. IMO.
  2. I would like him but for his bad taste in liking Daisy. Eh, the show has been cramming Daisy down my throat for so many years, I say all viewers deserve to have characters they don't like sticking around. Not when that one is Simmons. I actually think that the person who should be locked up is Coulson - he's the reprehensibly selfish one. He could have left Daisy in the future and that would have definitely altered the timeline with no repurcussions to everyone else. Fitz did what he did to Daisy out of desperation - because there was a literal rift in space and he didn't know how else to fix it. (And knowing Daisy she's have said no even if he had told her his plan - that's just Daisy).
  3. I actually think forgetting her is more in character. I don't think Jonah could dancel a date in a text - if he remembered he would have been there.
  4. I guess they are assuming the loop isn't broken till they break it. I think the true (unwitting) villains of this season will be Coulson and Quake. In fact they already are - Coulson brought Quake back, now Quake will not let Coulson die.
  5. Daisy's a terrible leader, she doesn't inspire any faith in her plans whatsoever and she doesn't listen to her subordinates. Plus she puts a child's life at risk because of her tunnel vision. Phil - Talbot and Creel should have let him die. They reinforced the timeline again. I wonder if that was a tipping point
  6. So then the system of government is not the problem but the closed off nature of the nation is?
  7. There wouldn't be a vote if POTUS, e.g decided to start doing it either. would there? Shipping guns to the War Dogs, I mean. In fact Eric's proof that they do that today already in a way.
  8. They do off format a lot, and mostly with Jake and Holt. To be honest I didn't notice till almost the end that the rest of the guys weren't in it - I was that engrossed. Had I been thinking at all, would have figured this to be a showcase for Jake/Holt and not SKB.
  9. Goddammit. Exactly where I didn't want them to go. And Jane proving she is Remy at heart - always putting Roman second.
  10. Regarding fewer women challenging T'challa during his coronation, I thought it showed women had more sense anyway since, to me, clearly T'challa is the right choice. Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean that I can't acknowledge when a man is better for the role. The women felt they were happy with the leadership that T'Challa would provide and I don't see anything wrong with that. In terms of stepping in to save people from atrocities, if I don't blame Switzerland for remaining neutral in WW2 (and I don't), if I don't blame France, America, Belgium, Rome for not stopping the British from creating the Irish famine, then I can't blame Wakanda for not stepping in to save Africans from slavery. Maybe it's the Indian in me but I blame the English for the 35 million deaths in Bengal due to famines created by them during their rule. I wouldn't blame anything mythical people of Indian origin for not stepping in to save us. *shrugs*
  11. After this episode I am left finding his accent the only attractive and engaging thing about Lucifer. He's not even been singing that much or playing the piano.
  12. Except Crawford has now gotten one over him thrice and with the hospitalisation and pen, a possible 5 times.
  13. I don't get the headache thing at all - was it Roman? Or Crawford? It was definitely not natural, so to speak. They'd better not be neutering my Roman.
  14. I enjoyed this episode, but am a little disturbed about one thing. I was really hoping Roman had organized the kidnapping - really don't want him falling for that Blake female - so I was annoyed when it came out that Hank was the one who'd organized the kidnapping. Oh well I guess they needed to do something to show how ruthless Hank is.
  15. Holy smokes. I just saw that. Wow.
  16. I love happy endings n everything that I watch but in BM it makes me feel cheated.
  17. Tell that to Indiaa in the 1700s.
  18. Well at least now we've had a major character die so the hopefully the morbid death lovers will can stop calling for a 'meaningful' death to 'raise the stakes' in Infinity Wars. Like grow up and get some empathy already.
  19. The issue was not the Indian clothing nor the design. They were just too formal. If he were a woman it would be like he was walking around in a wedding dress all the time. (But I think a lot of him for making the effort).
  20. I am really not a fan of Gina (really, really not), but I think she worked better for this joke than Rosa would have. This is because Rosa, with her natural kick*** demeanor would naturally be someone to be afraid of. Where Gina, with her weird, girly exterior is not someone who would expect to be scary so it is funny people are frightened by her. In other words, I hate her, but I think she worked better for the Cyber crime story than Rosa would have.
  21. I was so happy to hear British accents again.
