  1. Probably not. That's why most prestige-y shows start in April.
  2. I think in the pantheon of 21st Century dramas, The Americans fits in that 2nd tier. I kind of fell out of love with this show in the 5th season, but mostly came back around to it in the 6th. It is still in my personal list of favorite dramas, including Deadwood, Mad Men and The Leftovers.
  3. I'm pretty sure it was on 30 Rock...I think she saw it on a plane? I can't imagine what else it could have been in.
  4. Elisabeth Moss, Maggie Gyllenhaal, maybe Evan Rachel Wood. I'd like to see Sandra Oh nominated, but that's probably unlikely. But Keri Russell deserves to win this year, and I hope she'll get it.
  5. Thank you hendersonrocks! I was wondering why Fred Armisen was there!
  6. Was it the whole west coast or just Oregon where they cut to commercial in the middle of Scully or Hitchock's line and then came back during the middle of the wedding ceremony? What did we miss? AAAARRRRRGGGG!!!!!
  7. Or maybe the daughter isn't the same POS as her father. Maybe she is, maybe she isn't. Nobody is going to be fooled about Mike Pence's views.
  8. The daughter's response to all of this has actually been pretty positive. All this publicity has probably greatly increased the amount that will be going to Tracy's Kids.
  9. I find it very strange too, but I think they're pretty much damned if they do say anything and damned if they don't. And it's likely it's not even the celebrities themselves doing it, but their PR people.
  10. The Leftovers Deadwood Mad Men NewsRadio Better Off Ted Daria Slings and Arrows 30 Rock Pushing Daisies Wonderfalls Barney Miller
  11. In the original pilot, Tina was a son instead of a daughter. When they decided to make her a girl, they didn't recast the part. Linda was based on videos of the actor who plays her playing his own mother.
  12. "A thing like that!" is pretty much Pete's catch phrase.
  13. I think they won a writing Emmy for the Correspondence Dinner special.
  14. It was renewed for season 5. I'm not sure where you got the idea that Hollyhock would have been conceived by Butterscotch when Bojack was still young. Bea brought the horse painting to Bojack 3 years after the cancellation of Horsin' Around (per their conversation in the kitchen), cut to a scene with Bea reading a book "Several Months Later" when Butterscotch confessed that Henrietta was pregnant. I did question the timeline though of Bea being maybe 7 or 8 in the 1944 scenes and then becoming a debutant in 1963. Debutants aren't in their mid- to late- twenties.
  15. According to Betty (in her phone call with Don), the children needed a mother.
  16. From things I've read, for a lot of people it's Miscavige's abuses that get them to leave the cult, and they still think LRH's "tech" is valid. However, for many it's just the first step in the process of leaving Scientology as a whole. They become "Independent Scientologists". Once they're out, many of them begin to question the whole thing. They begin to do the research, and learn the truth about Hubbard. It doesn't stand up to scrutiny when it's not constantly being reinforced. Some never do leave it entirely, but for many it's just many steps in a process of leaving for good.
  17. I always thought Don's animosity toward Harry came from Harry's role in Sal getting fired, mainly because he never seemed to have a problem with Harry before that and that was the most recent situation involving Harry when it came out that Don didn't like him. However, there's no real evidence that's what Don's problem with Harry was.
  18. There was an article at Uproxx about it: http://uproxx.com/tv/people-of-earth-why-cant-we-be-friends-review-recap/. (Spoiler in the headline of that article).
  19. On screen, anyone waking up from a nightmare sits up in bed. Does anyone really do that?
  20. No, I'm pretty sure he was offering a second baby. I think the implication was that after the Departure, people interested in adopting were down.
  21. Did they ever use her actual likeness though, or was it always just Catherine Zeta Jones? That's the only way I can see this case as having any merit.
  22. I think it was the third episode of the first season, the first one to focus on Matt. And the divorce happened at the beginning of "Guest".
  23. She did long for her husband, up until she found out he cheated on her. Then she divorced him. But I do think she never really processed it all, or at least I don't think the show did a very good job of portraying that.
