  1. One of the worst problems with the show is that it has a tendency to reward a certain gimmick or look type until it suddenly decides not to and the designers fall into that trap of trying to design to win over the judges when the judges are nothing if not consistent in their inconsistency.
  2. Cornelius's outfit was giving me 3LW music video from back in the day realness. And that is not close to current.
  3. It's a bit rich of them to call "embroidery" a crutch when just the other week they were losing their shit over it when they assumed Jenni's outfit was Erin's.
  4. I actually thought this was better than the other beauty pageant reunions because at least people were able to talk more as a group. I was personally here for all the times Katya called out bullshit on people's stuff.
  5. So basically this whole season is one long PSA against being a famewhore?
  6. The problem with the drinking is that these ladies have spent most of the season talking about how awful Kelly is when she is drunk so for those SAME PEOPLE to turn around and try to push her towards drinking. It's like hating when somebody sings but you keep offering them a microphone.
  7. In a normal situation I'd say that Kelly just shouldn't have taken the drinks that kept coming her way but it's clear to anybody that this whole season has basically been the prologue to either Kelly's episode of Intervention or Snapped so people intentionally trying to play on those weaknesses because it takes the spotlight off of them is super gross. It'd be like if someone was on a diet and you kept ordering them desserts. Yes, they should be able to control themselves and not dig into that that tiramisu but you're an asshole for intentionally putting that person in that situation that they have to make that choice.
  8. The fact that I have even a moment of sympathy for Kelly Dodd makes me hate the rest of the cast so much.
  9. I wonder this too because Michelle brought up her having a tantrum and it wasn't really shown she had that big of one on the main stage but when they untucked during the back during deliberations.
  10. This episode was fascinating to watch, mainly because I've never seen a winner of the show get a worse edit the closer they got to the crown. I thought her Final Speech was sort of exhibit A of what Alaska has been all season: funny but cold. I still think she deserved the win, but I wish the road to it hadn't been what it was.
  11. The hospital setting is doing this show no favors because the characters from season one were so much a creation and parody of the campus/sorority culture that taking them out of that and plopping them into this world doesn't do them justice. They should've stuck with an anthology theme and started from scratch with new characters.
  12. The treatment of Chanel 5 is getting so boring and tedious because it's just a lazy go-to joke for the writers. Unless they have Chanel 5 standing up to the rest of the folks or somehow be connected to the murders or something, this will be a total waste of time that could be better used on other things.
  13. Heather being upset about being kicked out of the store cracked me up just because going anywhere with these women, I would just have a natural assumption that some point we'd be tossed out of somewhere since they are all the textbook definition of "This is why we can't have nice things."
  14. All I know is that the guest judge made the most mentions of three sisters this side of a Chekhov play.
  15. Did anybody else find Heidi's comments about the model looking like a hoochie mama ready to twerk in a video super gross? Like this show does love to hurl out the insult of someone dressing their model like a hooker/streetwalker but it was one of those moments where I was like, "There is no way that comment would've come out that particular way if the model had been white."
  16. That dress reminded me of a comment from I think Project Runway All Stars where Isaac went in on an outfit for "being nothing." Cornelius is giving me less rage-y Ken Laurence vibes, especially when he was shading the winning outfit.
  17. This season has been very fascinating because it's just as much about being on the show as it is about winning the competition. In a lot of ways, Katya is the Alaska of this season just because she's giving me a lot of the fun talking head interviews we used to get from Alaska that we aren't getting this year. There is a level of freedom in Katya that she's exhibiting her that is the opposite energy of Alaska, who really came into this game wanting to win the crown and maybe a lot of that stems from the fact that has really already had her own "Rudemption" just from becoming such a popular figure.
  18. The hate for Chanel 5 is getting super boring and if it doesn't lead to some power flip within the group, it'll just be just nonsense.
  19. This episode is just a quote machine. It's amazing the amount of one-liners that can be jammed packed into every episode.
  20. This whole episode made me wish that the season had been set at the summer camp like initially promoted when the first season ended. I feel like most of the new characters, if tweaked, could've fit into that and would fit more into the overall Scream Queen aesthetic since summer camp is such a classic set-up for a horror movie more than a hospital.
  21. Casey Wilson and Danielle Schneider on Bitch Sesh saying that Vicki in a neckbrace is her most honest look because she's already the constant victim looking for someone to ask her what's wrong with her may be one of the funniest assertions I've heard about this episode.
  22. So Heather very may well have some PTSD from the accident. The problem is that this is coming on the heels of her hilariously bad acting job crying on the phone to Terry about Kelly's behavior at the restaurant. That's what happens on this show. They fake so many emotions so often that when it's real, it's hard to believe them.
  23. It's just impossible to ever figure out who is actually mad and who is "mad" for a storyline since these women seem to have histrionic reactions to EVERYTHING.
  24. No one is better or louder about martyrdom than a Real Housewife. It seemed like most of Heather's problems stemmed from the fact that no one was particularly concerned about her injuries or the fact that she was in the accident. And I about died of laughter when she took offense to Meghan calling her patronizing when patronizing people is like one of the chief cornerstones of Heather's existence.
