I came here to post that TMZ link but looks like some folks were faster.. and as I noted to my FB group- I knew that half (more than half?) the fans in this forum would NOT be pleased. I'm sure not. Why a "crossover"? They're copying The Walking Dead! oh...wait... <side eye>

The 34>134 was Kristi and Jen- they were puzzled because their height was waaay off. Henry and Evan's was 111cm >114cm so they were off by 3. Good two episodes... 1. Not sorry to see Luke and Brittney but sorry about the way they went out. I believe this is the third...no fourth time a team has been eliminated because of a lost passport. After this I hope future TAR racers figure out a way to GLUE their passports to their bodies! 2. Yes Jessica you're useless, no Jessica 99% of the time camels do not have both udders AND testicles (wonder if there are intersex camels...hmm). Yes that was a cold thing to say about karma regarding B&L. No Cody and Jessica I do not like the "well we lost BB so we're here for redemption!". Drives me crazy when teams- notably from TAR and Survivor- do that. 3. I like Evan and Henry, I don't see them as some of y'all are. They seem to work well together. They hardly ever have screaming matches or even get upset about much- especially the U-Turn while Brittney/Luke and I think Jessica/Cody did rant more about it. I don't think Evan treats Henry poorly... if that were the case I think I'd be seeing Henry a little more uptight and tense than he is. 4. Extreme- Kristi/Jen- better this ep though the whole back and forth about the detour was grating... THEN they ended up changing detours ANYWAY (and turns out benefited them)... 5. Indy.. they're okay- competent when they put their minds to it. I'd like to see Yale, Skiers and Indy in final 3. So of course.. BBers will be in it :P.

Well... Great scenery in Saint Tropez... the water! I don't think I would have done super well with the sailing lol. Shawn did say that Cedric and him being big might be a problem in trying to maneuver the ship but looked like Cedric finally figured it out. Ouch on the tooth (Shuddered through all that.. not a big dental-related stuff fan) but happy that Henry is so supportive and Evan did finally get the hang of the sailing. Lots of navigation problems (in both legs!) eesh.. Pentaque looked interesting (and captions had it spelled completely wrong- until after the shot of the Rules board LMAO) but I am still not a big fan of the head to head.. especially right before the pit stop!! Zzzzz a proposal... Zzzzz Sad to see the NBAers go but it was on them and it was a fair elimination- they had trouble all leg. Loved the trebuchet (sp) and the stockade lol Not sad to see the Chompers go... all they talked about (and all TAR edited...) was food- extreme eating.. yuck. They were the only ones to do the puzzle- guessing they didn't want to run all over the arena? I would have loved doing that puzzle! Faves are still Yale (Henry/Evan), Skiers(Kristi/Jenn) and Stringers?(Trevor/Chris). Go Away Lifeguards (Lucas/Brittany), BigBrother(Cody/Jessica) Neutral Firemen(Daniel/Eric), Indy (Conor/Alex)

I think the reason why Cedric kept his backpack with him was because, what I thought I heard/saw, he said that he thought that HE would be doing the zip-lining(carrying the gnome) so would drop the pack at the start of the zip line. I don't think he realized that he'd be trotting all over the area like they did. Yes concerning he had 3 heart attacks (and before the age of 50...) but I doubt TAR would have let him on if they thought he'd have another one ON the race...no? People do come back from heart attacks and become healthier. I for one hope they stick around longer in the race- they're preferable over a couple of other teams...

from the amazingrace wikia... "This episode's title was said by Cedric at the Roadblock, encouraging Shawn. "

Yes Bethany and Adam won that leg where they were able to take the surfing fast forward- causing Kym and Alli to come in last as they had major trouble with the FF then had to go back to do everything. Ultimately Bethany and Adam came in third in TAR 25.
-
I daresay, it's better than winning a FF and still getting your butts eliminated LOL History of the Fast Forward- http://amazingrace.wikia.com/wiki/Fast_Forward

That was Lexi who had a bit of a meltdown with the Hello/Goodbye task. I really liked that task as well as the pictures of greeters, the surfboard challenge (season with Victor & sis came in first), and the shipping yard containers (Maya/Amy).

He didn't exactly help her- as I recall he said in a TH or something that he only did it because he knew that telling Brooke to "calm down" etc would just rile her up some more. Mike and Becca both helped Brooke physically (Becca literally cut the ladle shape out as Brooke complained her hands were too weak and Mike I think did some hammering...).
-
The difference being that during Flo and Zach's season it didn't matter who did what or how many each had to do so most of the tasks fell to Zach by default somehow. With Brooke and Scott- they were forced to split the roadblocks. I can almost absolutely see Scott having to do nearly if not all of the roadblocks if that rule was not added. The whole thing was meh as I wasn't a fan of Brooke at all. I'm not going to go so far as to call T/J and L/L "dumb" for not ditching their backpacks or anything else they did. I'm sure they either had their reasons (meds maybe? Depending on how much or what kind it may not fit in the fanny pack) OR by that point they are TIRED and just want to get ON the plane to SLEEP and get to the USA. And I believe S/B aren't the first to think of checking/ditching their bags either. As for using phones- yes Tara/Joey did enlist help- in fact if I recall they had TWO people there on their phones (now whether or not they were actually doing google searches is debatable...). I didn't mind Joey yelling Go Red Sox! - that isn't a jerk move to me- I was amused; I would think some die hard fans would do that lol. I didn't get a good look at Ernie & Cindy- per somebody's post way back on page 1 I think, they said something about his hair looking dumb for a 30 year old...so no idea (as I just canceled the CBS all access). Becca and Floyd will always be #1 in my heart from this season

I guess they missed a key word in the show's title...? RACE. Wanting the gamer to 'help them' or "go easy on Tara" is not racing in my book. In fact I think her gamer was actually TRYING not to win- the few shots I saw of him.. he kept saying "I'm sorry" and looks amazed he was beating her even in the later rounds. Matt & Redmond- least drama? Hmm They had their own sort of drama with all the "intimidating" and snarky comments early in the race... good grief. This team is meh to me these days.

In general maybe but I don't think it's a generational thing. I'm older than Tara and Joey(older than him by about 6ish years at least) and while I haven't really played in a long time I would have enjoyed the hell out of this roadblock. Would have probably done the London way... mash the buttons like mad (and not keep changing characters either). My niece is in her 20s and I sincerely doubt she'd have been a fan of this sort of thing lol (now her brother... well...he once beat me in Wii golf I think it was- at the age of 5 AND doing it right handed- he's naturally left handed). As to comments previously about how many rounds, I thought I heard/saw (Captions) someone say it would be up to 100 rounds. Tara didn't even finish until something like 34-35 rounds. Aside from the goofup with what transportation to take and the errant cab driver taking down Matt & Redmond they did run a good race- tolerable this episode. Brooke too (I must be in an alternate parallel universe- scientists did say they MAY exist..), I was amazed at how low key/calm she was at the cup stacking- thought for sure she would fall apart there. Maybe she thrives on KF? LoLo is finally showing some power/push... Maybe but how could they know? I got the impression that they didn't realize or know what kind of "advantages" they'd get or when. So.. LoLo for the win.. I guess? I don't have any strong (positive) feelings for any of the 3 left. LoLo is the least bothersome to me at this point.
-
True. And another comment somewhere else reminded me.. that usually when they read a clue for a roadblock it's only a question, they then have to declare who's doing it then open and find out what it is. So there's that. Though I thought there were some that it may seem obvious what the roadblock is when they arrive and see what's there (like a giant towering pallet lol).

I think he was trying to go faster and balancing but Floyd looks like he's smaller than the other guys who did it. But then again I wouldn't know as they're all 'little people' on my screen lol. But to me Floyd might have had a harder time as he looks shorter. I don't think I would have done well at all as I'm around 5'3" so balancing AND trying to pedal with short legs I'd still be there. Well maybe not- I might have beaten Brooke? I don't think London realized it either. I loved them.. would be cool to meet them (and I hate meeting people!). BTW Floyd's graduation pic is AWESOME! :)

wow.. brutal... Tara/Joey- not too bad- first leg quite a few missteps then complaining about not getting help. Uh huh- you didn't exactly inspire confidence in a lot of teams after U-Turning twice even though both likely had a good reason behind it (well aside from "because they're (Mike/Liz) our friends so we gotta give them a fighting chance"). Joey looked pretty peaked end of first leg and nearly took Scott down with him but nailed that roadblock in the second leg. Scott/Brooke- Oh my lord.. Brooke... ZIP IT! I didn't see the whole incident with the ladders (or missed it really) but to keep harping on it....? *sings* Let it go LET IT GO <ahem sorry>. While I can give a tiny nod due to the heat she still did way too much whining. Scott with his "oh my lord you're not giving birth!" and "Giving birth again.. this time twins"- well that just cracked me up. His turn at the bungee jump- poor guy but he managed it better than many I've seen in the bast (Like the woman @ the water slide the Globies passed some seasons back). I don't get why Brooke didn't do it... poor guy three height challenges. I hope there aren't any more. London/Logan- Well.. they're... just.. there. It looked like they were when they showed them doing the ladder carrying up to the roof. Steady and invisible (reminds me of Joey/Kelsey though I liked them a whole lot better). Matt/Redmond- Matt seems more talkative lately. They did pretty well though yes I noticed that Matt did all of the challenges- bungee, bike/shrimp traps, rowing. I can kind of see why Redmond didn't (I'm not sure if he's an above the knee or below the knee amputee so can't say). At least they haven't been too douchey lately? Becca/Floyd- Great 1st leg- worst to first and awesome. 2nd leg.. ow... damn.. first to worst :(. I don't know what exactly happened with the bike for Floyd- I don't think he really realized how many traps he lost the first time or the 2nd time but at least by the third time after he helped (or tried to help) London he figured out to just ride to where he lost the one trap, pick it up and go back instead of going ALLLL the way back to the beginning. That's what did him in- I don't know long the ride was but two and a half round trips.. eesh. What a way to go out...:( I hope they're invited back. As for Becca- someone noted above she was mad. I didn't see it that way. It sounded like she was more upset than mad.. and worried. If you're referring to her fun meter and her turning it waaaay down, I can see her doing that because she was more upset, worried and sad than angry. Her face near the end when she said something about how she never expected that to happen to Floyd- near tears, that meant more to me than her 'fun meter'. Both of them were very graceful at the end and didn't blame each other for anything. Never did. I can tell they will be friends for a long time (I hope). Out of all the teams I felt like they gelled the most and the best after being thrown together. Ugh.. I don't know who to root for now that my team is out... None of them? Certainly NOT Brooke... please go away...somewhere... Sigh. Poop.
-
Well it's normal to worry and freak out a little. Of course no one is 'fun' ALL the time. But what I saw was that they both then reassured each other that they'll be fine. I don't see anything wrong with worrying and "Are you sure?". I'm normally laid back and go with the flow but yeah I'd be freaking out and frustrated if I'm not sure where the heck we're going. At least she didn't go full hulk and take it out on Floyd. The "Passport-gate" has already been explained so- no comparison to me. As for the "you sneaky cheese lady" comment- I took that as a light-hearted teasing/silliness more than anything else Edit- I thought Michael did have to climb back up again- and they just didn't bother to show it because he moved so damned slow the first time. He was probably even slower the 2nd time.
-
Probably but if I remember M&R were right there behind them when S&B were at the U-Turn. I think- seemed like Joey and Matt were wearing similar color shirts so with all the running around and crowding around hard to tell.
-
Great episode... Redmond & Matt- No Red- you two having fun does not set you apart- there are a few other teams enjoying the hell out of the race too y'know- take off dem blinders. Matt got the roadblock in one try (from what I remember). At least they didn't quibble about losing out for 1st. Tara & Joey- still pretty awesome though I'm not sure why they U-Turned TeamFun- I didn't like the reason they gave "We're friends with Liz & Mike so we want to keep them around" O rly. Hmm. Floyd & Becca- Speedy Mcspeederson professional donkey.. ha! THAT should have been the episode title damn! Good racing other than getting lost a little. Aside from a little frustration they worked through it quick and kept positive. Same with being U-Turned AND they took it to mean that the other team though they were a strong team. London & Logan- Pretty much 'there'... middle of the pack though I have to say Logan pushing the car in reverse was a bit awesome lol. Scott & Brooke- Who knew Brooke had another volume level other than screech & whine?? Quite a bit more calmer though she still managed to get some complaining in there. Good work on the guard march with hardly any crying. Liz & Michael- What can I say... bye. Read the #&$* clue! Stop and THINK when you notice no other teams behind you all of a sudden! Have to say- it was interesting to watch how both TeamFun and Mike/Liz handled everything. It was like night and day. M/L were so... negative- Mike especially - ranting on and on about Brooke & Scott- still on about but I HELPED YOU BEFORE! (like last week) while F/B were positive and managed to boost each other up when they could- might have a moment or two of frustrated talk but in the next breath- "don't worry- we'll just keep going- it ain't over yet". That speed bump looked..icky but surprise- perfect for Mike. I was so sure too that Mike would keel over- walking for the bride side, climbing up (how many?!!) stairs then back down then back up again after re-reading the clue, a break with speed bump, run a lap around the stadium, then climb to the pitstop...Phew. Still loving TeamFun. Team Mom&Dad I like but they kind of dropped a little with their reasoning for the U-Turn. Still not quite a fan of Red & Matt or Brooke- Scott's ok. LoLo well maybe they'll surprise us all but they're okay- like how they're calm generally. Speedy McSpeederson should win!

ahh Thanks all. I'm not that great with faces unfortunately- most of this season seems to blur together for some reason...Hmmm. Only a few stood out for me easily. I had thought that was Ashton doing the "glasses" hands.
-
No Seth and Olive were gone by then. That's either Joey or Logan- I can't tell between the guy in the orange shirt and the gray shirt with his finger on his nose who is J or L. There's 9 people so #10 is taking the picture- Redmond since I don't see an obvious beard in there lol.
-
Wuss? Brooke? (as I know Shamir was called wuss also...). I could name most of them in the pic but unsure on some... Not that great with faces in photos.
-
It seemed like Joey kind of figured it out- theirs was the one where the least luggage seemed to fall off. Redmond and Matt's luggage almost all seemed to fall off. I almost wished they (any of the teams) had been nailed for that somehow lol. Agreed- another "performance" task that comes to mind was the synchronized swimming one. Brent and Josh had so many tries that they eventually got kicked out because the facility was closing!
-
I think they actually did something similar to this a while ago. It was a team who had to do a speedbump then went to the roadblock and found that they BOTH had to do it and not at the same time. I'm racking my brains at who it was- was a all male team- that much I remember. Aha.. Tanner & Josh of TAR 27 but the TAR Wiki says this:
