Regarding Vanck and googling the royal doors... I think he might have been lucky enough to get better results in that country. It's not the same as the US (as most of us are googling and not finding info). I used to notice that when I played online riddle trails/games with friends from the UK- quite a few times my results wouldn't always match what they came up with even when we used the exact same terms to search with. Vanck may also be a whiz with googling- who knows? But I do think that whatever google results found in Zanzibar would have been different than ones found via Google USA.

Oh you mean like the time Redmond tried to intimidate Vanck loudly- was that cool? Seems most of the teams have hand-waved that away :P; I'd have U-Turned them for that and for the fact they are a super strong team. I can't remember hearing any complaints about other teams not liking them but if they did, betting that Ashton did most of the complaining- whether real or perceived.

Agree with that- and in contrast Floyd was a little more mellow- he knew that even if they didn't get 1st... they're still in it and that's what matters. I'm of the tiny crowd that did like Ashton and Vanck even though Ashton did get on my nerves. They were growing on me and they seemed much better this leg. So kind of sorry to see them go. The B-List comment was just plain mean. I don't know what the hell Vanck did to them.. other than just being himself... apparently too 'nerdy' for most of the others' taste.. "EEK a NERD messing up our beautiful selves...!" Yeah... I sure know what it feels like to be labeled "B-List" :P. Brooke.. either catch laryngitis and stop cry-whining every week please... or just oh... walk off into the forest and never come back. Ugh... you are not a pleasant person to listen(or read aka captions) to. Poor Scott... Tara & Joey and Logan/London are still pretty solid teams though LoLo are a wee bit slow. Redmond and Matt.. I still don't really care for (especially with that remark I quoted. Michael for some reason I still don't care for- can't put my finger on it..? maybe the passive aggressiveness mentioned above. same for Liz. I missed the first 10 minutes of the show so don't know what happened in the beginning. Happy to see Becca & Floyd win first. Again probably in the tiny minority but I like them. And there you have it. Quack.

Ahh I wish it was captioned... :(. It's why I almost never watched past 'insider' videos from past seasons (forgive me the right term is slipping my mind) or the ones like the one posted here.

I would think with any allergies that may impact you and your health, you'd have to put that down on the application form so the TPTB would at least be aware of it. Whether they would actually verify it somehow dunno....

I don't think Becca and Floyd were that smug. Every other team who has done the FF in the past has always though "oh we'll get first! Yay!" and as noted.. at least one team ended up in LAST place and eliminated on top of that and a few others didn't attain first either. Hmm so... Becca & Floyd... loved their enthusiasm and it's something they'll never forget. I don't think it was a bad move to not use the Express Pass... they did say something about the fact the other teams will just keep wondering even though leg 5 was the last leg to use. I also do not think that Becca and/or Floyd is 'fake'... everybody is allow a "aaargh!!" moment or two and it looks to me like a)the didn't go super-hulk regarding the passport incident/mat talk and b)they resolved it and got over it pretty quickly. Brooke & Scott-- oh lordie Brooke...just... STOP.. eesh. I hated that everyone went to help her but I get why Becca did (she at least did say "There debt paid!"). Woman has something negative to say on just about every task- Shamir level. Michael & Liz- Not a big fan of this team... and the 2nd episode proved it to me. They don't seem to be communicating well. And Michael wants to quit again- he wanted to back in leg 1 too. London & Logan- Way under the radar- not seeing a whole lot of them...pretty good team Joey & Tara- They're okay and quite good at everything they do...well except for practically giving away a clue...though I couldn't figure out why Tara told Joey to ask M&R then turned around and asked him "Why did you tell them that?!"... geesh. Nice finish to 1st. Matt & Redmond. Red is still a dick. Intimidating people doesn't shine a good light on you Red..military or not. Matt is okay though I don't know why he keeps letting Red run roughshod over everybody. As for... "men teams don't have drama"... yeaaah okay... having a hissy fit about the U-turn isn't drama? Thhp... go away.. and soon. Matt was ace on the tower! Shamir & Sarah... somewhat better this time but still not the greatest.. don't have an opinion either way. The tower was totally awesome! Almost looked like a giant Jenga puzzle lmao. The bonfire was super cool too. I also thought it odd that the FF seemed like it was faster but turns out not to be. The Trolls detour was really cool. The Ladle RB well if I were doing it...I'd have no issues with the noise LMAO.. take off my 'lectric ears, stick them in the fanny pack and get to work! Brooke please go home next. Please? PLEASE! Forgot to add a few things lol... When I heard Farrouk Bulsara- I instantly knew it was Freddie Mercury and knew that he grew up in Zanzibar (I read way too much about him...). And a question/musing... while Brooke was a total dink at the fish spot... I'm curious how TAR would have handled it if one of the racers was severely allergic to seafood (all), would they have allowed for that person to skip? One of my friends is severely allergic to where she can't really even be right where the fish/seafood is being cooked or eaten by anyone (she told me that once). And to the mention of Nat & Kat- they were awesome- one of them was a vegetarian (not both) but sucked it up and dealt with it.

I think it was Becca who climbed up to get that suitcase, but it was Floyd who had the express pass I think. I'd have to watch again but don't wan to sit through CBS online video screwing up where the video and captions froze and the audio kept going at times (quick fix was to just rewind a little lol).

Drew's twin is Derek. I watch so little TV anymore that I likely have seen the commercials and not recognized at least Idris and Jamil LOL

I am pretty sure they did that once-- I think the season that Nat and Kat one. I really liked how they had 3 different 'memory tasks" in Season 27.. tied in with doing something else but the 'remembering/memory' task seemed easy when the 3 of them did it (well except when Logan and Chris fell behind on the flags...)

The same place where I got the list from also had people posting snapshots of the videos trying to identify some people too (likely the same ones as you were trying to identify lol). Yeah.. I wish I had heard more about what ALL of the contestants (TAR ones) who got up to contestant row charities were. I only half watched Big Brother and didn't even bother with the Survivor one (aside from not knowing it was on) as I'm not a fan at all of those two shows.

I did see one of the Art & AJ pair and sort of recognized the bearded/long haired guy but names slipped my mind. They panned too fast and for me it was too far for me to see who else was there. Guess her sister couldn't make it...?

No Sheri is the one with 8 kids. 2 in college and one about to go to college then the younger bunch.

Disappointed with this leg.. was mostly boring.. and not just because of who won (though I don't care for Dana... Matt was... okay). The leg felt way too linear... with little room for movement/switching (Yes I read the above post about that--- we'll agree to disagree there). Hardly any exciting tasks except for the Gibralter Rock one. Sheri and Cole kicked ass- both did very little moaning/complaining this time about height. The whole mentioning of the fear of height-- my guess is production probably probed- led them to talk about that AND edited to include those tiny snippets of their conversations. Sad that Tyler and Korey didn't win (yes I liked them... sue me... laugh at me ha.. ;) ) or that Sheri/Cole didn't either but they put up a great showing of 2nd. What a whimper of an end to a great season in general.

Well what I was getting at is that there are many many-- even more famous people than Tyler that are thin skinned and lash out at fans, reporters, what have you... and they chose the public eye. If they didn't want to have to deal with negative comments, reviews etc, they shouldn't be in the public eye either. Fact of the matter is... there's going to be all kinds of people. Who knows.. maybe Tyler will wise up- he's still young and hopefully he'll figure it out eventually not to do whatever it is people are saying (I no longer follow the TAR FB page because some dumbass posted the entire list of elims and winners one season plus... reading nutty people's comments just well... annoys me so off it goes). I'm sure Tyler wanted to be in the public eye- fine by me... but we all don't know the whole story. Interesting that some people are giving Dana leeway for being snotty yet bashing Tyler for being snotty...Hmm Just my view point though.

He's very social conscious too. I just saw a video of his recently where he had Nyle DeMarco (deaf actor/model see DWTS and ANTM Final Season). In the video he and Nyle practiced a little sign (goofy the way Tyler signed lol) and mentioned that YouTube does not have a very good auto caption feature so he went back and captioned ALL of his video (I'm gonna do a spot check just to see hmmm). Whatever his motivation/reason for having Nyle as a guest doesn't matter to me- what matters is he is captioning his videos-- it's a minefield for deaf/hard of hearing people on Youtube.

Probably because Joey/Kelsey were considered the "underdogs" in their season...some people seem to consider Sheri/Cole the underdogs... or the Dark Horses in the race for both sets.

Wow... well that was certainly an interesting leg.... - cool that it was China but a bit surprised none of the tasks were really Chinese culture related. Though I can see that the motorized unicycle is a part of their daily lives by now. No matter I liked the roadblock and the commute part of the detour. The art half I probably would not have done that well with- terrible with depth perception and aligning things... - Love Sheri and Cole definitely grew on me. I think Cole was both mortified and proud that his momma actually did better than him on the unicycle lol. "I've done skateboarding etc...."- cut to Sherri zipping around- though slowly. I do wonder if the rain played a factor into how much leeway they got but Sheri was doing pretty well. -Of two minds about Tyler and Dana helping each other. This late in the race I hate how people help each other but I also can see the reasoning why (Flashback to Nicole and Amy helping each other but I'm on the fence if they meant to try to oust Marie....). - I like Tyler and Korey (yes I know I am in the teeny tiny minority here but I don't caaaare). I will say it until I'm dead-- all we see is 40-50 minutes a week (sometimes 75 on those 90 minute episodes) of the racers out of reams of footage over a 30 day period. Same thing with Matt and Dana though I like her less anyway. So finale... Tyler/Korey or Sheri/Cole are my two picks. Dana can be a distant third. That said it will probably be Dana and Matt since my pick won last season... Oh.. I had no idea what a minaret is either... and I'm sure a lot of Americans don't know either. My education in high school was just fine- one of the better private schools in the area and I consider myself knowledgeable (and love reading- when my vision lets me).

He was mentioned- I am guessing that either Alex or (more likely) Shelby called for help. Shelby mentioned to Alex on the phone that Will was in the ICU so not exactly up for a chat... but he did say someone else was working with him (thus finding Drew). I don't think it's Drew- whoever it is can fake the voices on the call like already mentioned- though why now they decide to make it a recognizable voice is beyond me... Not a bad show- not a super show but I can follow it (I'm weird that way...). Just will be glad when the graduation is done with and time will be at one point instead of back and forth (in months! eesh).

The kites were very awesome! Sad to see Zach and Rachel go...:( was hoping they'd beat out Brodie and Kurt...drat.. Well down to rooting for Korey/Tyler though the rest of the teams (minus Dana and possibly the Frisbee boys lol) are likeable enough. I would have loved the snake task that was super awesome. Missed the first 10 ish minutes right before the Snakes and Temple so don't know what happened. Yep... Cole impressed me tonight... as did Rachel- she was the only female who did the water and salt task. Did pretty well... and the rowing- kept up pretty well.

I don't mind Tyler's mugging.. it's his personality- he seems to do with out trying like other teams have done in the past (Justiiiin....) nor do I mind Cole...he's what 21? Eh... at least he is right there encouraging his mama. Speaking of his Mama Sheri... I'm more impressed with her as the weeks go by. I really like her. She knocked out that bike race (and complained less than the Frisbee boys!). Will be interesting to see if giving up the express pass now will bite them in the ass in the next week or so. Betting Brodie would still be there trying to do it lol. Dana.. omg... as my love for Sheri grows, my dislike for Dana grows. Wow. Amazed they did end up in 5th with how she was acting. I foresee some more meltdowns in the near future. I think I saw Ashley do the Bedouin greeting. Happy to see my faves Zach and Rachel hanging in there. And for the favorite caption of the day... Announcing the prize for Finland... Ellery Sinky... ! (Helsinki I am assuming). So no prizes under the gnomes with cool shades? damn... Would love to try that slide some day. *yes it was Mika with the water wings who couldn't do it.

Good episode...Dana a lot less grumpy this time but you could still see it when they drove from the candy detour on the way to the clean detour. Loved watching the dancing- way cool. Loved the candy lady making comments about the racers lol "poor boy" . Sherri is beginning to grow into Margie 2.0 (aside from the tears and trouble last week),,, well in my view anyway. Happy to see Blair go- though whatever will Brodie do now? <gasp>. I happen to like Tyler and Korey so hope they stay in.
