Sandy toes, the defendants and the witness were the sisters. I found the entire case sad. I got a case with an eighteen year old defendant who had no problem telling millions of viewers that she had multiple sexual partners (some of whom were best friends) but it was mostly casual. I don't understand. Where is the self-esteem?? I weep.

I've got to go totally OT. This has nothing to do with JJ but it does involve a "special snowflake". Since moving to Charlotte I don't have a large circle of friends to socialize with so I usually go out with a friend who has lived here for about seven years. Today we went to lunch with a group of her friends (we're all in our 60s and 70s). One of the ladies (Donna) has a granddaughter (Amber) who lives with her. Donna was telling us a story about an argument Amber had with her boyfriend. She says, Amber said "the MF thinks I'm a B he can stand up but I told him he needs to straighten up or he's not getting any from me anymore". My friend said to Donna did she use the actual words and she said "Yes, why"? My friend said I can't imagine my grandchildren using that language in a conversation with me. Donna said oh you're a prude. The rest of us agreed with my friend, I can't see a world where my grandchildren would swear and/or discuss their sex life with me (my children either)!! Are the rest of us really old-fashioned or is Donna just too cool with her "special snowflake".

But then how could 51 and Casey be in peril in the next or future episodes???

One of my dear friends was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1980. She has been in wheelchair for years. When her daughter died in 1995 her daughter's children came to live with her. My friend lives in section 8 housing. After the grandchildren finished high school, she was told she had to move to a smaller house because she was one person and the house she lived in was a three bedroom. She tried to fight section 8, telling them that the grandchildren would be coming home for holidays and during the summer but to no avail. She had to move to a one bedroom apartment. I don't understand how the scammers we see on TPC and JJ can have homes and apartments big enough to rent out rooms, meanwhile my friend's grandkids have to sleep on a sofa bed and air bed when they come home.

I've lived in some large cities in Michigan and Texas. We had all the above living near, including deer (in Michigan) and possums. We learned to co-exist. Of course, no one have a phobia about the wildlife.

The pit stains on the plaintiff, in the feuding neighbors case, distracted me so much, I barely heard the testimony. Surely the producers could have given him a clean shirt.

Her constant anger is getting old. She is sneering or bitchin through 75% of most of the episodes , can anyone maintain the much hostility on a regular basis? I think the point is she has time, she just dislikes the community so much she has no desire to interact with her neighbors.

Both of these situations have definitely worn thin.

I've episodes where she'll look a the person sitting on the side (plaintiffs or defendants) and snap "who are you"?, if the reply is "I'm the current spouse of the ..." she'll dismiss them with a "You have nothing to do with the offspring of ....., you're not related to them". I find the insulting to the many stepparents who have give a lot of love and care to their step children and I don't think they should be dismissed. JMO.
