  1. How could either of them start a Survivor puzzle business? I could be wrong here, but wouldn't anything with the Survivor name on it, if used to make a profit, need to be aprroved by CBS? I thought it was illegal to do that. Unless CBS is handing out licenses to use their name for this, but huge corporations are not known for that. They'll probably both get cease and desist letters from CBS lawyers now that it's made the news. Can someone clarify if my thoughts are accurate or not? ETA: I just reread and it doesn't say if either of them are using the Survivor name, so this might not be an issue at all.
  2. I wonder how things would play out if the winning tribe only won immunity, and the losing tribe got the...whatever... Unless it was a reward challenge, of course. Not that it would be super awesome to watch, but it would at least be different. This is getting very stale. Isn't the punishment of losing immunity that you have to cut someone? But no, may as well hit the tribe with a cattle prod on the way out so they are even weaker than before. Then Jeff can comment on how sucky they're performing at the next challenge, and at tribal, discuss the huge mystery of the orgin of the tribe's struggle. Major turn off. I also am bored of the three tribe set-up every season. Jeff said it's because smaller tribes make it harder to hide, but not really imo, because it makes it extremely easy for most of the people on at least one tribe to hide. They don't even have to show their cards for a good while. So I think he's wrong about that. I got a good laugh when the yellow (?) tribe was imagining the challenges and rewards that might await them. That was so funny to me and I rewound it a couple times.
  3. Yes, the 'what-if's' can consume people. And it's just something that can never be fully known, even if some parts seem obvious. Death is hard enough, but suicide brings a completely new level of anguish. At the very least, I hope it doesn't fracture the main part of the family that has remained together. You are right people often need someone to blame, because anger is easier to handle than grief for some people.
  4. Such an unfathomable tragedy. πŸ˜ͺ I sincerely hope that this can bring them back together to some degree. Definitely not as an active polygamists family, but back into contact with each other where they remember what is important, and what isn't. We all lose sight of that sometimes, it's human nature to get caught up in the day-to-day. Kody has talked about losing his faith, and maybe this will bring him back to it (not what he had before, but into a relationship with God). Please let something good come out of the ashes of this nightmare they are experiencing. I do not wish this horror on anyone, even Kody, and I'm sure nobody else does either. Please let this be a wake up call for him to reach out and reconnect with his other kids. For everybody's sake. I can't stop imagining what is going on with them all this very second, and it makes me so incredibly sad.
  5. The thing that really stood out to me was that Christine was definitely ready to jump David's bones the entire episode, even aside from the lap dance. πŸ«£πŸ˜… I know bedroom eyes when I see them. She looks at him like that even in their TH's together. I don't know how she made it through the party. Maybe they snuck off at some point to make extra sure Christine was properly divorced. Although I'm pretty sure she'd been good and divorced many times by then πŸ«’πŸ˜‰πŸ€£.
  6. I am super pissed right now because I do not have this episode on D+. It's 11 pm MST and should have been available hours ago, like every other week. I have reset my Roku and logged in and out of D+ and...nothing. Everyone else here seems to have it, so what gives. F me in particular, I guess. 😑
  7. IMO, it won't continue past another season, maaaybe two, because viewership right now is due to finally getting to see some truth, however slowly they drip-feed it to us. But that can't go on for long. Unless they completely drop anyone it will likely keep the same name because TLC isn't going to spend any money 'rebranding' these people. Name accuracy doesn't matter unfortunately, MTV has a show with 30 yo women called 'Teen Mom'.
  8. Is there anything that happens in the entire state of Arizona that isn't about Robyn? The two people calling it quits weren't as emotional. πŸ™„ I loved it when Robyn said 'Ok, I'll shut up', and Meri said 'thank you'. 🀣 Once again we see Robyn directing Kody by talking about how he's in such a difficult head space and he doesn't really know what he's thinking right now. All that means is she hasn't fully downloaded his thoughts to him yet. Overall, entirely too much Robyn this episode.
  9. I understand. Before Christine said it wasn't true, she jokingly said it was the last step, as a dig at Robyn, (not verbatim), then laughed her ass off and said she was joking and it wasn't true, that she'd never heard that in her life. That's why it was funny. And I wish I got to watch Robyn watch it.
  10. I am happy for Christine, very happy, but she really needs to back way off on commenting on Jenelle's situation. Even Janelle sounded irritated with it. I understand that for Christine this is a whole world she's never experienced, and she is definitely on a high over it, but Janelle's experiences and personality are just about 180 from Christine, and Janelle will do this her own way. She also seems like the type to despise pity. Christine is out of line there, imo. However, when Christine commented on how, even after the church releases you from marriage, you're not actually fully released until sleeping with someone else, I enjoyed that very much. πŸ˜† And I loved how she cracked herself up over it. A special thanks to the editors for adding the relevant clip. πŸ‘πŸ˜‰
  11. Ahahaha, skanks. I love that word and haven't heard it in a while. It needs to make a comeback. πŸ˜†
  12. I love this analogy! πŸ˜† But also, I would proudly vote those people out of my life. I would looove to hear Robyn say that, followed by a cutaway to Janelle or Christine saying, with authority, 'Yes we did! We suuure did!'. It's a good thing to cut out disease, Robyn.
  13. Woah there, is Brianna ever the mini Robyn! I think Robyn gets off on the power she has over her adult kids. She needs drama like she needs air and if that means hurting her kids by making them think they've been ostracized, then so be it. The thing is, that is a self-fulfiling prophesy. Act as if nobody likes you for long enough and eventually nobody will like you anymore. But it's because of the vibe you give off. So some things that the Kody Brown's have been whining about, which were not true before, are coming true now because they are all so insufferable. The kids USED to see each other as siblings, but Kody and Robyn squashed the hell out of that, and now when Robyn dry cries about how her kids aren't included, it's true, but the fault for that lies directly at Kody and Robyns feet. This is why Robyn didn't want her kids too integrated fully into the other mom's and kids. If Aurora and Brianna had built strong bonds outside of Robyns control, they might make decisions about family members for themselves, and Robyn was not going to allow that. Also Robyn, please keep any and all Survivor references out of your lie hole. Thx.
  14. I think Kody is realizing Janelle offers him something Robyn never can, thoughtful (for the Browns) conversation and more mature (again, for the Browns) behavior. He and Robyn had an us-vs-them commonality for so long and they could put all negativity into that box. I'd bet that even when they were upset with each other they would pin it all on the stress the others were causing them. But that excuse doesn't hold up so well now, although we heard Robyn last week still trying to pin Kody being a dick on 'what Christine did to him'. πŸ™„ Anyhow, Kody sees himself as some kind of intellectual (🀣) and while Robyn's damsel in distress shtick, and massaging his opionions via ass kissing, feed his ego he has got to be bored as hell with her quite a bit these days. She appears to be a special kind of dumbass.
  15. See, I don't get that Robyn would lose respect for Kody if he lets go of his wives, but not lose respect for him treating them like total dog shit. I could never be attracted to a man who treated others that way, no matter who they are. Their sick minds must view Kody's willingness to simultaneously push away and also string along, these other women as a testament of his love for her, or something???? This doesn't really describe what I'm getting at the way I'd like, but I can't really express it for some reason. He obviously doesn't want them around, and she does (to be superior to), and this is the compromise? It's baffling.
  16. Ooohh, that is something I hadn't thought of at all. I could see it both ways because Kody would love to bind the wives to this, but to do so he'd have to bind himself as well. I wonder which part of him would win out! The only reason I don't think they have a non-compete at this time is because we know Kody and Robyn established their own entertainment LLC. And if I remember correctly Janelle established her own LLC as well, although I don't know if it's an entertainment LLC. If there is an NDA I hope it has an expiration date because I need one of the OG's to spill it! 😁
  17. Oh yeah, I didn't think about that. If that's the case there really doesn't need to be any conversation at all then. Just don't deposit anymore money in the 'family' pot. No convo needed and don't answer their calls. πŸ˜„ Regarding show money, there isn't shit that Kody and Robyn can do if the other wives insist on negotiating their own contracts with TLC. That's between them and the network. The money that has already been unequally distributed is probably a lost cause. Although now that I think of it, at this time they were all still in the Coyote Pass private loan debacle together, minus Christine. So that sucks for them, but they all saw what was going on and still fell for it, so πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ Meri would be fine, but Janelle really stepped in it financially.
  18. I don't know why Meri didn't just move to Parowan and see how long it took for anyone to notice. Then when Robyn pretend cries about it, tell her and Kody to take a long walk off a short pier. But I guess if she's allowed herself to be humiliated thus far she's not likely to develop a sense of pride now. Speaking of Meri, did anyone catch where she said that there needs to be some hard conversations in this family but no one is willing to have them? OK there Meri, president of the Wall Builders Local 493, whatever you say.
  19. Robyn needs to shove all of her 'why can't they just figure it out' talk straight up her ass because the OG3 HAVE figured it out. They figured out that you are a conniving manipulator and Kody is a huge, negative, weight around their necks. Then they figured out that life is 100X better without that, and they figured out how to dump the both of you. See, all figured out now....
  20. Oh, except Robyn doesn't allow herself to wallow in victim mentality, remember? She just dusts herself off and makes it happen. πŸ™„πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  21. Robyn got a little pissed there when Meri said Kody should do something about what's making him so angry. 'What is he supposed....', then remembers she's on camera and dials it back a notch. She let her mask slip again.
  22. I found a clip of Robyn trying to deduce 'where it all went wrong'.
  23. I think about this a lot. Lol I have tried to find a clip, but no luck.
  24. I don't think anyone who matters was blaming Gwen for anything, but I got the impression that the comment was just the final nail, out of thousands of nails, in the coffin. I do need to go back and refresh my memory though.
  25. Ok, so I can see the dig if it was a reference to Robyn’s emotional neediness. An emphasis on 'I'm' would be the only thing that would make that phrase a bit of a dig, still mild as hell though. And honestly, emotionally needy people are tiring and annoying, and it was probably worth the blow back. πŸ˜„ If this was the straw that broke the camels back...wow. I bet if they knew that was going to be the bridge burner, I'm sure some of them would just take the gloves completely off.
