  1. Suspending the thought that the "making room for Chris" is scripted to an extent, what really is the big deal for Amy to clear out those boxes in the garage? There aren't that many - and what exactly is she doing that prohibits her from just dealing with them? Why would it take weeks/months to go through what looks like MAYBE 2 hours of work??? And why didn't she opt for a home that had storage given her proclivity for holding on to stuff? Are basements not a thing in Oregon where she lives? If not, why not a garage with lofted storage/an attic? I get that her clutter is a deeper issue that she's apparently still not ready to confront - but it's just so weird that she won't go through that small amount of stuff at this stage of the game. The worst part - boxing up her large home - is over. There's a part of me that feels like either her and Chris need a larger home together, or they simply need to be "forever engaged" and not live together. Honestly I feel like Amy needs to enjoy her home on her own for some time to come. Overall I've not minded Amy over the years and felt that her toxic relationship with Matt is why she's often crabby etc. Also why she is having a tough time making room for Chris - she finally has her own space that Matt can't direct (I do think that's part of what's behind her clutter as well). She may be worried Chris will take over like Matt would. On the "Gold digger" episode, at least we got to see some of Matt and Caryn NOT talking about Amy. If she is indeed in a relationship with Matt because of who he is - I wish we saw more of that Matt because all these years watching this show - one thing I know, Matt would drive me insane. It's all about him - I guess if you are ok with that, then he may be "the one". I just don't get that vibe from Caryn, but who knows. Perhaps there is an entire side of their relationship and Matt that we simply have never seen. I find that hard to believe given how long this show has been on the air, and the fact that two of his four kids moved fairly far away, AND that we don't see golden child Jer on the show anymore, might have something to do with getting a bit away from Matt and the farm.
  2. Totally agree. I also don't think she's been in Canada that long, maybe a few weeks. I get her rage. She's done and seen things nobody should, and out of our main characters who have escaped, she's done it much longer (well, perhaps Emily comes in a close second as I don't think she's been in Canada that long either, less than a year given Nichole/Holly's age). Rita experienced Gilead differently so I'm not surprised she isn't as full of anger - at least not yet (if we see that side of her at all, I think we got what we were going to get when she visited the Waterfords). I'm disappointed Moira wasn't more understanding. I may have agreed with her view had June been in Canada for a year already, but she hasn't. I also wish Luke would appear to be more understanding. But, he too is dealing with trauma, in a different way, but still trauma. He just got his wife back and knows his daughter is still stuck in Gilead. I wouldn't be surprised if they inevitably parted ways. They're both totally different people now. I was bummed to see Janine was captured again. My only hope is that she leads the new rebellion from within. I don't think she was swayed by Aunt Lydia trying to diss June. I also don't think if she were to find out her son was dead and June lied about him to be such a huge grievance that she'd then hate June. I would like to think she'd understand why June lied. She has grown a bit from when we first met her, and almost escaping changed her I'm sure. At least I hope. The Waterford/Gilead supporters rang a bit false to me. I'd like to think their lawyer set that up somehow, with some pro-life groups or something. Also shocking there were no protestors. Maybe it was just lazy on the writers part. I hope those two get what they deserve, and aren't sent back to Gilead in exchange for Hannah or something ridiculous like that - if they extracted Hannah that easy - what lies ahead for the storyline? Would June still be hell bent on taking Gilead down? Not sure. ETA: I seem to remember Serena having a bit of bump when June visited her, she just had clothes that were more loose on. I think the tighter outfit/more prominent baby bump at the pre-trial was intentional. Which leads me back to thinking June's only been in Canada for a week-ish...
  3. Moira's GF was heading to "Thunder Bay" Canada in the last episode, Thunder Bay is above the UP of MI, so I guess they got to Chicago from there - but how, who knows... a boat across Lake Superior and down through WI, or over to Lake MI and then to Il/Chicago? ETA Spoiler tag just in case. I'm salty we didn't get any idea of whether or not Janine survived in this episode, hopefully we do in the next.
  4. So I decided to tune in for a few episodes, despite ignoring the season as a whole after I watched the first 2 episodes and could not stand Jenna. I see she got even worse as the season progressed. That bish actually came for me on Twitter. Pffft. Incredibly unprofessional. I'd like to think she's drumming it up thinking she's making "good tv" but honestly, I think this is who she is. And to mate up with Adam. Yeesh. They are made for each other and that is not a compliment. If she behaved towards me, the way she was to her crew in this episode, I would have told her to go pound sand, but in a less eloquent way and using her favorite word. Please don't ever bring this bish back - she's worse than Adrienne from BD season 1. Adrienne would have never participated in PDA, tho she was insufferable in a different way.
  5. Kelley was such a d!ck that season - and yet, it pales in comparison to the brus of the current incarnation... hopefully Kelley has matured, there was hope for him back then... Ashton and his posse? Not so much. Gawd I hope he gets DRAGGED at the reunion.
  6. I'm so friggen happy... I was ready to tune out next season if this bish was back... extra happy Vicki is gone as well... I'm ok with Shannon getting another season - I'd like to see what she brings without those two morons in her ear.
  7. Crapn Sandy would also have been hanging out with the Brus and defending them as tho her life depended upon it. She ALWAYS has Joao's back. She also meddled too dang much. I loathe her. LOL. We need someone btwn the two - one who trusts their Bosun/Chief Stew to do the right thing, without hovering all the dang time, as well as come around once in awhile and have their finger on the pulse of what's going on. I still like Capn Lee - and I agree he's been somewhat distracted this season. I'm guessing brining the brus upstairs to back what Asston said was producer-driven. Plus an opportunity to get the bs on film.
  8. Me too - I'd welcome Eddie back with all new deck crew. Or even Connie. Either one as Bosun. I think Eddie's last season he was way off his game and clearly dealing with personal issues that clouded his judgement. Not that he's innocent whatsoever, and not that it wasn't ridiculous how he handled the Rocky situation - but I'm willing to give him another chance. Speaking of Rocky -she looked like she lost quite a bit of weight (and she wasn't overweight to begin with), also - she did not lose that chip she has on her shoulder over her season. Like move on already hunny. And she poses as being all zen, living in Hawaii and being chill. I don't ever want to see her back on the show. Or her BFF Leon. Blah.
  9. Regarding the candle Beverly put Marge's stuff into - wasn't it lit? It clearly got wax on Marg's stuff - and considering that, how in the heck would someone have to pay $600+ to cover it - when it's clearly the store's candle. I'm sure he can just expense it, or whatever stores do to sample pieces. It's not like the holder was broken and the wax was completely depleted, I'm sure he can still use it. And now that I think of it, why would he have a lit candle going in a store - unprotected? Ultimately tho - $600+ for a somewhat small candle. Ridiculous.
  10. It is confusing - given Kate went AWOL - wouldn't someone fill him in? I can understand not knowing the extent of what happened, but it seemed as though he knew nothing. Unless he's covering until the next episode airs.
  11. I honestly think Courtney was essentially forced to do the filmed date with Brian, despite being exhausted. And not that she doesn't like him, but, she probably would have rather waited until she had rested, but because of filming the show - there was no option to stay behind. Same thing with her looking bored at the club. In fact, she tweeted that they are not allowed to stay back on the boat on nights like that - unless they are sick or injured. She couldn't fake enthusiasm, it's one of the things that I actually like about her. She seems real. Shoot - I'd be a hot mess if I hadn't gotten any quality sleep and was expected to be all up with people on a filmed date, and a night out at da club with a bunch of drunken attention whores.
  12. ha ha - I'm just so over Asston I'm grabbing at straws. Maybe they could just go with a complete unknown 😉 Tho they usually seem to want to cast a known for the Bosun position.
  13. I agree. I remember back in the day when drinking was strictly forbidden on the boat. Clearly times have changed - I think regrettably production wants it because clearly over consumption of alcohol brings the drama. I wish they'd go back to no booze on the boat, it would probably cut down a bit on the level of drunkeness, since off the boat they have to pay for their booze vs getting it for free. It has really been over the top this season. I'd be surprised if Ashton comes back, or as I like to call him, Asston. He's gone too far down the inappropriate rabbit hole. Not to mention the fan backlash. I doubt there are many who enjoy him outside of dude-brus and gals who don't have an issue with dude-bru behavior... Maybe they'll give Brian the Bosun position. Or Rhylee (not sure how I'd feel about that but it might be interesting to see).
  14. I have to believe in that after-show hot mess, the brus had not yet seen the actual video footage and were going based on their wonky drunk recollection - well, at least Brian seemed shocked via his tweets during the actual airing of the show regarding how it unfolded. As did Courtney and Simone, who were also not actually in the van with the others. All that said, Asston, after seeing the video, posted that lame non-apology on his insta story, he has no self-awareness. I doubt he'll be invited back next year, he's a liability. I tend to agree with others who have theorized that he got the Bosun position because of his "near death" situation last season. Also, given the way Captain Lee reacted on twitter during the show, as well as his clips in the aftershow - Asston does not get fired, as Captain Lee had no clue what happened. I thought I saw there were only 2 charters left... I hope they have a reunion show (BDM did not, which was odd).
  15. Totally agree with you - I'm 50 and I didn't give any energy to what Emily (and Kelly) said about Vicki/tres amoebas... It was more about getting under vile Vicki's skin and not a global statement, IMO of course. I didn't take it personally. Of all the things said on these shows, the "age shaming" was pretty bland (except that it rattled Vicki's cage and I'm all for that, lol). Even if Emily/Kelly said "all people over 50" (they wouldn't, but I digress) I'd still be like 'Meh, whatever, who are Emily and Kelly to me in my real life?" They're just two women on a reality program I watch that I find myself less annoyed with vs the others on the show. LOL. Vicki is really trying hard on twitter to keep that pity party rolling and she's got peeps backing her on the "age shaming". Lordt.
  16. Right there with you - I missed most of this weeks RHONJ because I was stuck in a youtube wormhole. I did catch bits and pieces. Jennifer can suck it about the bday party. Jackie's sons, and their friends (not counting Jennifer's kids) seemed to be fully enjoying themselves, because the party was about the kids - not the adults. Jennifer is too concerned with impressing HER friends, not her kids. Granted, her full-blow out parties are probably enjoyed by the kids, but so not necessary. Anyway. RHOC's trip to Miami and their terrible hotel rooms this week, are a far cry from seasons past of RH shows where they traveled to fabulous places and showed us all a slice of life most won't experience.
  17. Agree with much that has already been said. I've come to the conclusion that I'm out next season. I don't see Tamra getting demoted or fired. That's the biggest reason for me. Second, the very thought of Vicki coming back full time and her wedding being filmed is a big nope from me. Hard pass. The only way I see myself tuning in, is if I hear they cast someone who is legit good at taking Tamra down - and not in that "needs anger management" way that Kelly does. I mean, I appreciate when Kelly goes after Tamra but it's not enough. I need Tamrat running down the sidewalk screaming how we'll never see her again, and then actually never see her again in future episodes/seasons of RHOC. This season has been terrible. I feel compelled to hang in until the reunions out of habit - but, I have ZERO expectations that Tamrat will be called out in any significant manner. Re the episode- those hotel rooms were AWFUL. OMG, a step up from a Motel 6. Maybe. I can't believe Vicki didn't complain. OC has gone so far away from a peek into how the wealthy live, we're now just watching aging women who refuse to mature mentally, act like fools. Gina's Matt. Is she sure his name isn't George Glass? Is he taking her to the school dance?
  18. not defending the Gudiasses but the pool guy said normally it would be 150K but Tre's cost would be around $50K-ish with the "family discount" (he quoted a number - it was far less than 150K) (which begs the question - why is he charging average customers 3x's what he charges his family/friends????). I agree about the marble stupidity - she's such a dumb arse... lordt.
  19. Man I loathe Tamra. I'm seriously out next season if she returns - exception being if they bring in someone who will take her down. Some type of Dorinda or Bethenny personality. Then I'd be back for the shenanigans. Whatever Tamra poo pooing Shannon's alleged fear of not getting any $$$ from David. Tamra says it's "just money" - meanwhile back at the escapegoat (TM Eddie Judge) cave, she's crying a river about the Bellino lawsuit costing her so much $$$ it's "draining her kid's college fund" - Sure Jan. You set up a college fund. I pretty much assume Simon is funding his kids college. Tamra can go take a long walk off a short pier. Brayawnwin's husband totally reads "gay bestie" to me. Whatever floats their boat. Maybe they are both batting for the other team, but married for companionship and having kids? His necklace looked like a shrunken head was hanging from him overly tan head... interesting "fashion" choice.
  20. I felt the same by the end of the scene - Shannon was WAY too calm throughout. I feel they planned this stupidity out and tried to execute a confrontation scene. Yawn. they can both go, along with Vicki, come next season.
  21. Right there with you - if we HAVE to have one of them, I'd pick Vicki every time over Tamra, simply for the OG status, and she's not Tamra.
  22. Boy David's midlife crisis ho is a complete arsehole. I hope she's proud of herself. I'm guessing she is - deluded gold digging bish. She and David make a perfect pair.
  23. Hope this copies over, Heather McDonald on Instagram posted the following video (re; David B and his thirsty gal)
