S03.E13: Find This Thing We Need To
ItCouldBeWorse replied to Galileo908's topic in The Last Man On Earth [V]
I'm trying to imagine what a kid who has been on his own for a couple of years with no rules would be like. I guess like Tandy, but with even less education/experience sharing? -
If Mon-El was in stasis for 34 years or so, shouldn't his parents be a lot older, like in their 70's or 80's? If he was 25 or so when he left Daxam, they would have been nearly 50 at the time.
-
The whole "getting punched to gain citizenship" plot annoyed me, since it's a ridiculous interpretation of the actual rules.

The Blacklist: Redemption - General Discussion
ItCouldBeWorse replied to Meredith Quill's topic in The Blacklist: Redemption
They seem to have dropped the Nez drug story this episode. Dumont: "Tom, no time, get on the controls." How did Dumont know that Tom had escaped from the hold and was trying to awaken the pilot? -
The Blacklist: Redemption - General Discussion
ItCouldBeWorse replied to Meredith Quill's topic in The Blacklist: Redemption
It wasn't a huge deal, but what's interesting is that I just realizedthe Whitehall/Scottie/Trevor drama isn't out of order so the episodes weren't switched. It's confusing. Agnes did get a mention or two this week-even Howard showed mild interest. -
The Blacklist: Redemption - General Discussion
ItCouldBeWorse replied to Meredith Quill's topic in The Blacklist: Redemption
This was aired out of order. Tom was introduced to James McDaniel in this episode, but the latter appeared in last week's episode. Did Tom steal the comic book from Scottie? Won't she notice? -
And The Eye (Walter) put him in a closet (Melanie found him dripping blood), and took his place as the person who fired the bullets towards David and Syd, and then he turned back into crumpled Walter once David broke free.

And she's in full makeup....

Anticipation, Speculation, and Discussion: Emerald City
ItCouldBeWorse replied to David T. Cole's topic in Emerald City [V]
If both the traditionally wicked witches were black, and North was as pale as can be, there would be complaints, in my opinion. -
I don't know why Nate couldn't have taken the spear and gone by himself instead of risking the others. They're both basically indestructible! But nearly all of them were wearing gloves. If you actually have to touch something for it to be effective, then the gloves don't make sense. Maybe holding onto the spear was not necessary? If Rip had been able to translate latin or known about the Gawain myth, there wouldn't have been anything for Nate to do, and that's the problem. Gideon has no trouble offering an answer other times without being specifically asked, and she would certainly know Latin, but they had to get mopey Nate involved in the case, so that's how they did it. Nate, Ray and Mick, sure - but it seemed inappropriate to include Rip, as if he can't remain on task. And then she followed that up by asking Amaya to go as adult supervision - again, she was including Rip. Seemed insulting to the previous captain.

Did she eat or go to the bathroom in the astral plane? She and Carey were catapulting food into each others' mouths in the cafeteria cherry pie scene.
-
Plus, Kerry never eats in the real world. It must be strange to "experience" it now.

It's an Eli Stone father and son reunion! Cavanagh was Papa Stone and Letscher was son, Nate. Maybe Sherlock will fly in from New York to solve things. (Jonny Lee Miller played Eli.) Victor Garber was on the show, too. I think so, too.

Jeff stays in a hotel when he stops by, so he definitely does not live close. Yes, but it really bugged me that apparently Amy hadn't done any packing either! Did she want the new tenants to go through all her childhood stuff and throw it away? Did she expect her parents to do it? She likely hasn't lived at home for years and still has all that stuff there.

From a very old, open box. (That should be coated in dust, like the table, the bed, and everything else.)
-
When Melissa was hugging the teddy bear in her bed, I thought perhaps she had lost a child she had never spoken of, thus explaining her desire to get pregnant. She said it was a ricochet injury, so perhaps the bullet grazed her leg?

This also makes clear that Gail is here to stay, despite rumors to the contrary.
-
Did Gail have food in that mini fridge for any of those 10 days? I know she had plenty of alcohol. I feel like she recovered very quickly.

@topanga-I think Show finally decided to make Bow an anesthesiologist a few weeks back when they did a flashback: Bow got distracted from providing anesthesia while playing on her phone and the patient started to wake up (during surgery (!)) I think it was. And Bow giggled and started to pay attention. That kind of shit bugs me. She's a competent doctor and she's almost always shown to be screwing up at the expense of the patient. I don't find it amusing or funny. Wasn't Bow an anesthesiologist when she took Diane to work?

Ali Wong is a regular on American Housewife and Jeremy Lin, whom I didn't recognize, is the first American born NBA basketball player of Chinese or Taiwanese descent.

I'm assuming because he had so many ingredients (at least 22, I think?) to get just for the paella, he probably thought it would be easier and quicker if he could get everybody to split up and find a few items each, rather than just him and Maya running down the whole list together one item at a time. :\ However, I still have this question about "Ray-Cation," myself -- why did the whole family have to take part in the practice runs? Unless he ultimately wanted them all to actually see him off and/or say their goodbyes to him all at once; otherwise, he could've said his goodbyes at home to the rest of the family first, and had only one of his parents drive him down to the bus stop. Yes, they seem to travel a lot of places together, for no good reason other than hijinks. I guess it's free entertainment?

You probably weren't a lackluster student. Luke is, and they know it. I'm not sure why they would want to pay a lot of money for him to go to college when he is so ill-prepared and is likely to founder. Notre Dame and NYU were funny for the jokes, but no way could he thrive there. I doubt she still goes, but you are correct. So, no word about where Manny is going. Obviously Gloria will miss him, but she's got Joe. If it weren't for Joe, I think Gloria would have been less reasonable.
-
Certainly, but has Luke discovered his skills? Negotiating is something a lawyer or union rep might do. Since he's not likely to be a lawyer, he needs to find another outlet for his abilities.
