  1. It's still crazy that the CEO of a car company doesn't know how to drive.
  2. I saw the ending as a reset. The company is doing well, the Pika is a success, they can (try to) do whatever they want now.
  3. As soon as the hospitalized analyst perked up, I knew that the news of Katherine leaving would lead to the stock price rising, but it was still a good episode. I hope it's not the final episode ever, but if it is, it ended on a good note.
  4. Did he say he was planning to take his mother ring-shopping? Without expecting her to have a fit about the proposal?
  5. Superstore Easter egg in last week's episode: the actor who played Brett in Superstore (Jon Miyahara) walked by and Wesley (Jon Barinholtz, who played Marcus in Superstore), said "Hi, Brett." According to IMDb, Brett is the only role the actor has ever played.
  6. "Step 5: Heating Each sock is then placed onto a hosiery board (a board which is the shape of a foot and leg) to help the sock retain its shape. The hosiery boards are then rolled into a Stocking Setting Machine, this is like a big steam oven. Steam is used to heat the socks and the high temperature disinfects and sterilises the socks. Once the heat is turned off, the socks are left to cool down"
  7. Mr. Johnson found it in the basement!
  8. True, but if she did get into an accident while driving without a license, the friend who loaned her his rig will have no insurance coverage.
  9. That, but mostly that Erica would also know, and she clearly doesn't.
  10. Jackie said that she was available to drive Dan because Louise was back to working at the Lunch Box and could cover for her. Jackie is employing half of Dan's immediate family, yet he feels she doesn't do enough to help him. (And Neville funding the gas for a 10 hour round trip by truck is not an insignificant expense.)
  11. I was going to say that Louise has no money to protect from Dan (although if Dan blows everything on the family, I suppose that Louise would have to contribute more than whatever her share is to utilities, mortgage, beer, etc.), but then I remembered that she still owns her condo. I hope that she is segregating whatever income she derives from that, although I am actually surprised, that based on his conversation with Jackie (asking her to mooch off Neville for Dan's benefit), that he hasn't pressured her to sell the condo and invest the proceeds in the store, the house, a beer cooler, or whatever. Income from her condo could explain how she was able to recently tour, though.

  13. That was me. I haven't gone back to confirm that it was the same diner they were sitting in when Jackie had her conversation with Neville, but it does make more "sense" that Dan was now too scared to get back in the truck after Jackie described her accident in detail, than that there had been a 2nd accident (because then there would be no truck to go back to). However, the tag came after so many commercials, I thought it took place at a different location/later time. It just wasn't a particularly funny tag.
  14. Isn't Ava dating a famous athlete who could have made an appearance? I guess she doesn't like to mix her personal and professional lives (lol).
  15. I knew that, but I thought they had had a 2nd accident. It wasn't clear to me that Dan was too scared to get into the truck after hearing the details of the previous accident.
  16. Wow, Dan was obnoxious. I guess he thinks Jackie is running the restaurant for the sheer joy of it (and to give Becky and Louise jobs, and Dan free food) now that she has a rich husband? I guess it makes sense that Dan's kids will inherit his share of the store, but I feel bad for Ben having to deal with DJ, Darlene and Becky's nonsense when the time comes.
  17. Was Kofo paying rent to Goodwin? If he was, I would think that Goodwin wouldn't want to forgo that, and if he wasn't, he should have been.
  18. And now she has no money at all until her next paycheck. Mark is living in a window seat at his mother's house.
  19. She barely can afford rent let alone babysitting. I thought Harris was working at the tattoo shop?? I think @greekmom meant that Becky could pay Harris for babysitting when she isn't working; after all, Harris volunteered to pick Beverly Rose up from school. so she is available at least sometimes when Becky needs help. I agree, but I don't like that Mark went to the concert thinking he would be playing. Whoopi should have told him before that she was trying out the other contrabassoonist.
  20. And then she tried to set up Janine, by saying she would give the tickets to her. Apparently, no one could vote for themselves in the ticket vote? I wonder if everyone was honest about that (although it didn't affect the outcome.) Didn't he say at one point "Don't be jealous of me because I'm rich?" I would bet that he actually is, has made wise investments over the years, and keeps working because he likes to. And then she tried to set up Janine, by saying she would give the tickets to her.
