These Spoilers Suck: Bitter Speculation About SPN Spoilers

I think the finale will be paint by numbers. Jack doesn't kill Sam and Dean for....reasons before zapping out. Cas and Sam act like self rigtheous hypocrites and lecture Dean about how this is all his fault. They go to try and find Jack. Cas confronts god and convinces him to help. Tells Sam. Sam races to stop Dean from killing Jack. Repeat of s10 where Dean struggles with pulling the trigger. Lectured by God. I'm trying to figure where the zombies come in. Probably Jack's way of trying to stop Dean. I'm still trying to figure out what could possible have excited Jensen. -
I don't recognized this Mary, Dean described. They got to know her? When? Sam how are you doing. And the "other one" Screw you Bobby. You're not any better than the old one.
-
I agree, but I know how this will end.

The show spent the hour judging him or it would have had Sam and Cas backing him or siding with him. Instead it manipulated the writing so that Dean was once again the bully who made Sam bend to his well. While I would love to see Dean snap (and I mean really snap) I doubt the show will actually go there. Instead it will probably be another very special lesson on how Dean was wrong in how he treated Jack, while focusing on Sam's guilt.

I'm seriously wondering what about the finale excited Jensen. Its seems designed to throw his character under the bus. -
That would require the writers putting effort into this season and thinking things through. They are too literall and about as subtle as a sledge hammer

I think this is what bothers me about Mary's intials being on the table. I don't really care to much about it changing an iconic image because I haven't believed in the bro bond for years, but that they don't feel earned. Mary repeatedly choose everyone and everything over her sons. She issued platitudes towards Sam and for Dean, Jensen was prophetic when he said she'd just be someone else to take care of. Mary never took time to get to know or try to develop a relationship with either of her sons. The writers finally stopped being tone deaf but they went in the opposite direction and wrote a relationship that didn't' feel earned. So Mary didn't deserve her initials on the table because she never really wanted to be there. At least if Cas had his name there I could understand, becuae he's been with the Winchester through thick and thin. Mary not so much.

This is yet another way Jack changed the show for the worse. Before they made a deal to bring Jack back, Sam and Dean only ever tried to make deals/arrangments to bring each other back. IMO, it wasn't because of this can't live without you it seemed more about their warped and twisted psyches. Sam out of a misplaced sense of guilt and Dean's having the prime directive drilled into him since he was four. Sure Dean might have asked for Cas back or wanted Bobby and or his dad or Kevin back but he never actually went through with any rituals. But since them making a deal to get Jack back that seems to be norm now. The only exceptions I can really think of is when Gadeel healed Cas and Charlie. But IIRC, it was Gadreels choice for Cas (i could be wrong about that) but even then I don't' really see that as a deal because Gadreel was on hand. Is there even a natural order anymore? This is not me being snarky. Everyone and their mother brings people back now. God has bought Cas back repeatedly. Death has made exception after exception for Dean and Deans' requests. Death, the concept and the character, has become such a joke now, and there really seems to be no consequences anymore. Example- those non existent "cosmic consequences" after Cas killed Billie and Sam and Dean reneged after their deal. From the sounds of it Dabb didn't even know the consequences of Cas deal to bring Jack back existed. So why shouldn't they try to bring people back.

Dean feels like a tightly coiled spring that could pop at any minute. I wish he would. I feel like his character needs that catharsis.

Sneak peek. Once again Sam is the one doing the research. It's like the writers completely forgot Dean knows how. -
Sneak peek.

For me this would be just another Sam done come back wrong scenario and just be a repeat of season 3 when Dean has to worry and wonder if Sam was okay. I can see Dean's role being very season 8B ish in that scenario. And multiple other things that belong in bitch/jerk
-
That would be a cool story with Dean. He dies in the finale and is resurrected in Jack's mass resurrecting and we have a did or didn't Dean come back wrong scenario.
-
This is why I find the writers, untalented and unprofessional. Even if that was a swipe at fans who are tired of Jack, it comes across as Sam thinking that Dean was upset Michael and Lucifer were dead.
-
I'm well aware but at least we might get some great acting.
-
I think Jack's spell is going to raise the dead. All of them. (Making death the ultimate joke). This will allow the show to bring back anyone they want. Jim Beaver is tweeting up a storm about wanting Original Bobby back. Dabb did ask who they would like to see back. If this is the route they are going, then I hope we get some old adversaries of Dean. Like Alastiar, and Benny.

For me, "it was messed with" don't sound very happy. Sounded to me more like he made peace with the decision because he couldn't change it.

I haven't had a chance to watch the gold panel yet, but in the afternoon Panel it sounded like Jensen wasn't too thrilled with them adding Mary's initial. He said it was an iconic image and it was messed with and it was conflicting, and he loved what it stood for, and now its been added too. He also joked it would be like a guest book with everyone adding their initials. I continue to become more and more convinced that neither Jared or Jensen are happy with the writing this season.

I haven't watched the panel yet so I don't know full context But Jared and Jensen said they stepped in and took an extra interest in the finale, and Jared said they had a responsibility to make sure Sam and Dean are Sam and Dean.
