IMO, Sam saw what he wanted to see. A monster being good that he didn't even really question the multiple holes in her story. Amy said she was doing it because her son was sick. The fact that she knew immediately how to treat him suggest this isn't the first time it happened. If he got sick from dead brains once again it strongly suggest it will happen again. So how high was Amy's body count really. Also if Sam was 14-15 when he first met Amy, based on the year when this ep aired it would be about 13-14 years since he saw her. Amy specifically tells Sam that she's been working at the morgue for 6 years. That leaves 5+ years unaccounted for. How did she feel herself and her son? Taking the brains of the people coming through the morgue and eating them is another problem because there are cultures and religions that don't allow for the body to be desecrated in any way. Just because she was cute doesn't change the fact that she's a brain eating serial killer. Just because her victims were people no body would miss doens't make it okay to kill them. In fact it makes it worse because she's choosing her victims in a extremely cold, calculating way to be get away with what she's going. She was also going on the run at the end of this ep which means no more morgue and access to victims. How was she going to eat. This are things Sam should have asked. Just because Amy looked perky and cute doesn't mean she wasn't dangerous

I think this Berens way of getting Dean off screen for a bit since this is the ep Jensen was reigning as King. Sam will defend Cas and Dean will storm off in a huff.

If Mary is dead and Chuck decides to resurrect her, I hope they don't put the decision on Dean because he will never be able to make the right one. -
I'd say Mary is a goner. I also think the episode is going to be Cas and Sam vs Dean. That is the impression I get from body language in the promo photos.
-
I take it as more proof Mary's sons and everything they've been through come last to her .
-
Mary had no problem climbing to bed (figuratively and literally) with an organization was shot, kidnapped and tortured one son and was starting in on the other one. So why would she have disturbed by someone who tortured Sam and made his life... oh wait, never mind.

This is a big problem with the show lately. They don't put humanity first. Not since season 8. If they put Humanity first Dean would be a the bottom of the ocean now.

If Jack can't control his powers that makes him dangerous, not a precious cinnamon roll. Its like a toddler with a gun.

These Spoilers Suck: Bitter Speculation About SPN Spoilers

For me s11 always has an asterisk beside it because its hard to say definitely who was in charge. Carver started it, and Dabb finished it when Carver went onto show run Frequency. I actually really liked how the season started. I thought they set up the mytharc well with Dean and his connection to Amara. This was also the season Singer took a step back and was consulting producer (or something like that). So I dont know when Carver pulled back. I have my suspicion when the Amara storyline was all but dumped in the mid-season finale to bring back Lucifer. TBH, I never understood why they signed Mark S to a regular contract. He didn't' have one until s10. I got excited because I thought that meant they had big plans for demon Dean and needed to make sure Mark S was under contract, but that fizzled out and after that they had no clue what to do with Crowley. -

I'm not sure. But Jared, Jensen and Misha have made no secret that they weren't fans of the final few eps of s11. Jensen talked about it at a con that the finale was a collaborative effort with him, Misha, Mark and Jared. he said they never had as much input into a script. I have no idea what Dabb's original intention were but I would really like to read the original copy of the script. -

I don't think this will happen due to network restrictions. Chuck was supposed to die in season 11 but the network said no, they can't kill God. -

I keep hoping that it will be like s9. I despised that season when it started but after First Born it turned it around. Then watching the season back as a whole, I could really see Dean's downward spiral right from episode 1. I gained a whole new appreciation for it. Now its my second favourite season. I wanted to hope Nilishm was going to turn the season around, but I couldn't let myself get those hopes up because Dabb just didn't seem interested in this story. Unfortunately it played out exactly like I thought it would. Vague tells that didn't match the show. (Dean's barely sleeping, but we scenes of him snoring away). Stock footage with no new info with an anticlimatic end. The aftermath of ep 12, played out exactly like I thought it would. I figure they'll explain it with, they changed once they'll change again. As for the Michael, the ma'lak box, if they come into play I figure that will be a Sam storyline. He's the one that is feeling all the guilt, over everything. Dean's valium seems to have erased the fact that he was even possessed from his mind by the amount he's been effected by it. This is why I have no hope for the next few eps. I figure they'll be about NougatSue. Ending with a repeat of Alpha and Omega. This time instead of Dean convincing Amara to help. Cas will convince Chuck to help. He'll make everything all better. I have a speculation about Nilishm and why they introduced it but that belongs more in bitch/jerk. The way this show has been written since episode 14 almost reminds me of season 7. When Sera knew she was on her way out she took the scorched earth approach and got rid of baby, Bobby, Bobb'y house, Frank, and Cas. It almost feels like Dabb is doing the same. With one stroke of the pen he dumped both brothers storyline. Since then neither one really matters to the plot right now. It makes me wonder if Dabb might be on the way out. (But then I tell myself he's just that bad a showrunner so I cant't count on that.). -
It's possible that Jared and Jensen would think the audience would never think the show would kill Mary off again. I can see it being Mary because the show has no clue what to do with her character. To demonstrate she wasn't "just a mom" the show seemed make her primary storyline, finding a man at the expense of her children. I'm thinking Mary didn't give a damn about "her people" but wanting to stay with her new boy toy Bobby. They have no interest in actually having her build a relationship with her sons. The character has gone over like a lead balloon for the most part. So from a writing standpoint killing her off makes sense, From how Jensen and Jared were talking in that panel, I get the sense that the crying in the woods, cutting trees is episode 19. I think Jensen said something like "just the other day" and they were filming 19 at the time. I think 18 will go as follows. We won't know if Mary is dead or alive until the end of the episode. I think when Jack said leave me alone he sent her away. I believe there was a promo of Jack lying in the woods alone. Sam and Dean will spend the ep looking for her. We'll get the angsty scenes, of Sam being worried and Dean's trauma antibodies only making him worried for Sam, and he'll be angry at Cas and maybe the full line is "if mom dies your dead to me." Jack will be worried and wondered if he killed her, making him vulnerable to Lucifer. He'll end up raising Lucifer and releasing him. This will happen around the mid point of the ep. Then end the end Dean will probably be the one to find Mary body but we won't know if its Jack or Lucifer who killed her. (It will be Lucifer to keep the taint fully off Jack).

Here is Dean's fight with the Lucifer stuff edited out.

I don't think it was a joke either. Jensen was quite vocal about the handling of demon dean and purgatory. His one request for Michael was to play him long enough to really since his teeth into the character and develop him. So to comment that they took the character away just as he found his stride was the exact opposite of the one thing he asked for. I don't see that being a laughing matter to him. IMO, it was obvious from Dabb's interviews at comic con. Between the breathing room comment, the accusation about Dean holding back Sam from fulfillng his rightful place as leader, Dabb blowing Jensen off when he asked for help, Michael feeling shoehorned into the pilot, the constant inteviews immediately ending speculation about the storyline, allthat for me all screams loud and clear Michael wasn't nor never was going to be a priority this season.

I would actually love to see something like this, and it would fit.. I'll spoiler tag just incase its still a spoiler. I just have zero faith left in the writers.0
-
In a Con panel. He was talking about playing how he had just gotten the hang of playing him when they killed him off.
-
I know cons are not really an indicator of contract status but Mark P is signed for both cons in 2020 so far. I really hope that doesn't mean he's going to be a back next season
-
Michael is dead. Jensen himself confirmed that.
-
Canon really means nothing on this show. The writers do what they want. As for Chuck, there are BTS pics that show Cas talking to him, so I'm sure its going to be a repeat of Dean and Amara, with Cas convincing Chuck to help them with Jack and Lucifer.

IMO, they will never taint Jack. They're far too in love with their Mary Sue. -

I think she's dead based on spoilers we got from the con. Kim Rhodes was asked who would be the hardest actor to lose. She said it hasnt' happened ye. I doubt its a way ward. There was a scene that sounded very much like Sam, Dean and Jack were building a funeral pyre. There was mention of cutting down trees, plus Dean crying alone in the woods. So I think Mary is dead, its just the matter of who killed her. Because if it was Jack why would Sam and Dean being with him and taking him to Mary's funeral. I think Lucifer will start as a hallucination and he'll trick Jack into resurrecting him and it will ultimately be Lucifer that kills Mary. I just hope we're not leading into around Sam is possessed by Lucifer story.
