  1. I saw three different interviews with 3 different versions, so it sounds to me more like he was talked into accepting why things had to be that way. And he came to accept it. Jared has been gushing about it. Seems to me Jared pretty much gives it away that Sam and Dean settle down and stop hunting.
  2. Eileen is coming back, so I can see her and Sam hooking up. Maybe they'll bring back Lisa and have Dean run into her in a bar, and he introduces himself. Jensen hated that domestic story. Or Dean hooks up with Amara
  3. Very inappropriate time to bring that up in a five minute interview. Plus, I read on twitter she already told him this at a con and got the exact same answer.
  4. Jared loves the finale. So that tells me its all about Sam. Also Jensen was directing Rob the last two days
  5. Thanks for the link @Aeryn13 This all sounds,,,disheartening. They confirm that the season revolves around Jack. He's the "very big A story"
  6. So Jensen didn't like the ending Dabb chose. This is why i didn't really get excited about Jared and Jensen having input. It sounds like its just more lip service.
  7. That doesn't make a lot of sense. That makes it sound like Sam and Dean haven't been hunting in a long time.
  8. Don't tell me there is no Dean bias. He's not stupid. Dean doesn't do much of anything under this regime. If the new guy is being mentored by Berens, and no incentive for them to write for Jensen. It's going to be a long year Dean fans. I suspect that photo Jensen posted will sum up the entire season.
  9. Posting this here because of possible spoiler. The sign JJ is holding in the middle picture says Atomic Monster and there is speculation that is the name of the episode. *Slightly off topic, but I don't want to post this in the social media thread, because of potential spoiler, but I know a few words in Sign Language and Arrow is flashing I love you. Back on topic I really hope this episode isn't meta. I feel like focusing on the show and paying tribute to its legacy and Sam and Dean's legacy is the best way to write a love letter to fans than just throwing a bunch of fan reference in. That picture that Clif posted of Jensen makes me wonder what kind of script he got.
  10. Considering they wrote themselves right out of a job, maybe they should have been a little more concerned with all the negative feedback.
  11. I agree. Even at comic con last year, during an interview, Jensen said they have the discussion every year but there had never been a finality to it. There was still a lot of enthusiasm at the 300th. I believe it was Jensen who said" no end in sight. ;" So unless they were lying or misleading fans, something changed in those few months. While more time with their families was a factor, I don't think it was the only one. There have been comments (like the dog one, and the writing on the wall comment) that make me wonder if they have issues with the writing, but also sometimes its what not being said. Silence can speak louder than words sometimes Jensen has all but disappeared on Social Media, and Jared has scaled way back.
  12. If Berlanti had been in charge of Wayward it might not have been the crap fest that it was. But I dont' doubt there will be multiple attempts by Dabb and company to see if there might be spin off interest. That is exactly what those teens in the 300th were.
  13. IMO, the excuse the show can't be about Sam and Dean becasue they aren't on screen enough is BS, and just show how bad the writers are. Alex isn't even in every episode but they can obviously still make the show revolve around Jack for every year. Sam and Dean don't need to be on screen for the show to revolve around them. Example- the AU hunters, they could have wanted Sam and Dean dead feeling like they're responsible for releasing Lucifer and Michael. Give a couple of them recurring status and show scenes of them plotting things. The should be able to compensate for Jared and Jensen working less hours, because they're still in every episode.
  14. I don’t know how to link on my phone but it looks like we are very in for another season of JackNatural. Someone on twitter posted screen shots of the comic con TV guide addition. Jack gets his own page and a big we need to talk about Jack headline. Plus two questions on another page. The big mystery of the season is what Billie offers Jack. It will be a “parade of favourites” so that everyone who is loved or hated will get proper closure. AKA a never ending parade of Guest stars. Nothing about Dean, Sam, and Cas. There will be another meta episode along the lines of changing channels and the French mistake. So much for Jared and Jensen having any kind of real influence. Screw Dabb and Singer.
  15. What drunken abortion instagram video? I know it could be family time, but with Jensen he didn't make a lot of posts since after Christmas. So for whatever reason he's pulled back majorly.
  16. He flat out said they made him look like an idiot. Singer is a veteran director. He had to know it wasn't working. I remember reading something about how the production team said it wasn't possible but he was determined. I don't think Jensen hates the show. I think its the exact opposite. He loves the show and the cast and the crew and the friends and family he's made and the oppotunities that its given him, hence the reason hes' always add quality as a qualifying statement as to how long the show would go. They dont' want the show to completely fizzle out. (Debatable whether that has happened as everyone wold have a different opinion). But I found their comments, "Like a dog you love putting it down." And "the writing was on to the wall as to when the show was going to fizzle out, and if he could go right and keep going until it ran out of gas or go left he go out with a bag, he's going left." Very telling, about their feelings toward the quality of the show. Jensen seems to have really pulled back from social media lately too. Danneel also. I don't think we've ever had such a long dry spell from both of them.
  17. I still remember the start of the season. How Jensen asked Dabb for help because he was stuggling to find the voice of the character. Dabb blew him off. There is no other way to describe it or spin it, IMO. Even Jensen remarked. "I'm an island unto myself." That is not the way you treat someone you respect. I can't go with "Dabb trusts him' becasue Jensen asked for help. To make matters worse he allegedly had the time and inclination to take Jared out to dinner to discuss the leadership role. If Dabb had any intention of the Michael story line being anything like he talked about he woudn't have gave Jensen direction becuase he would have needed to make sure Jensen stirred the character in that direction. From that point on they refused to let the Michael story build momenteum because they kept spoiling it. "Nope Michael is not in Dean." Deans' wonky vision went nowhere and was never mentioned by Dean because we had to go into another episode about Jack. Even episode 9 Michael was after Jack. Everything that happened in episode 10 was dropped and handed of too....Jack. In the first two episodes, I think I counted 5 or 6 your so special pep talks for Jack. Dean, whose a lead, got a throw away line from Jody, a half hearted, its not your fault. Then from ep 14 on it was "oh no will Jack go pale beige for 30 seconds. " Because given how they wrote the character the previous 2 seasons. They loved woobie Jack to much to ever really tarnish him. Dean was clearly made the bad guy in the whole lock Jack up thing because they had Sam lecture Dean the following episode and act like Dean forced him somehow. Dean was also completely ignored in the aftermath of his own story. Episode 15 talked about Sam, Jack, Cas and even Rowena Again, IMO, not a way you treat someone you respect. If that is how Dabb and Co. do it I would really hate to see how they treated someone they didn't respect. We can agree to disagree.
  18. Everything revolved around Jack last season. So it doesn't matter where he was on the call sheet. He's the writers priority. If it was still about the brothers I don't think the show would be ending. They brothers were totally irrelevant last season.
  19. I think there is a short window at the end of the panel for audience questions. Its about about 10-15 minutes, IIRC. Because it was an audience member that asked the Charlie question.
  20. I believe it was s11 comic con, after Charlies death that he was called out for it. The question was something like why woman are killed to further men's pain was the decision made to kill Charlie and dump her in a bathtub. I dont' remember the exact comic con where Carver called Dean boring but for some reason I want to say 9 when he was gushing about the Gadreel story line . I would love it if someone asked that question but instead will probably get Jack related stuff. He's the only one that matter to the writers now. Dean doesn't even register. And they dont' have any incentive to bother because there is no contract negociations to write for Dean to entice Jensen to stay.
