  1. To me the best thing about the musical numbers is that there’s just enough of what they are parodying for you to be like “is this…?” But then the song itself is its own wonderful thing!
  2. Oh my gosh please let there be a season three and please let it based on the ‘80’s and the super over the top set dressings and big budget musicals like Phantom and Miss Saigon et al! and then a season four based off the new era of scaled back rock musical like Rent! on a side note, if we don’t get a “Cell Block Tango”number this season, I say we riot!
  3. So… is Jason gonna be processing his divorce through season three? Is that what’s happening?
  4. Surely the chains aren’t attached on chainsaws out in the open in a hardware store? That seems like a major liability.
  5. Oh my gosh, Will as dad! Love love love. also love mini will Trent-way too cute! anyone think we are getting a fake out with Angie? She’s buying the drugs not for herself but to either plant on that guy or to use to kill him/fake an od?
  6. I also hated the HIMYM ending. Just like I did with that show. What a waste of my time.
  7. Eddie is such a jerk. He really doesn’t have the talent to back up his mouth. I have an idea. Let’s all implode in the middle of the tour. Whee! warren is the best one.
  8. Oh Camilla, don’t go making assumptions. He picked you. Of course, he’s still emotionally involved with her…
  9. Do you think Daisy is so awful bc of the movies characterization of her or because of the actors choices? What’s so different from the book?
  10. She really is incredibly selfish and self centered. I’m not saying Billy is tons better, but I feel like he’s at least trying and she doesn’t give a shit.
  11. Each episode seems to make it more difficult to like Daisy and thus, more difficult to enjoy the show. I’ve already invested enough of my time that I’ll probably slog through the final 3 episodes but slog is the key word there. also, Daisy, bare feet on the table doesn’t make you a “whimsical free spirit”, it makes you nasty and gross.
  12. My main take always: what the heck has Jamie done to his hair NOW? I hate Nate so much and watching his inevitable crash and burn is going to be so satisfying. Roy and Keely better be end game.
  13. I am only halfway through and I absolutely cannot stand the way Felicity’s character treats “Joni” face to face. Regardless of what she may say to others, she treats her like an idiot and a burden. OCD can be a debilitating mental illness. Who cares if Joni adjusts some books? How did that affect her in any way? Why did she need to call her out on it? Allowing Joni to engage in her rituals when she can isn’t going to make it worse and stopping her from doing so isn’t going to make it any better.
  14. Yeah, divulging Biily’s addiction and recovery story was not cool.
  15. I tried. I got 20 minutes in, realized there were two more episodes after this one, and decided I was done. It just didn’t hold my interest.
  16. It was an empty section of a casino floor. And not Sr.‘s casino, it was one owned by Barbara. from what sister Clea said, I felt like Charlie’s BS detector revealed something about their father that had a profound effect on his and their lives. Possibly at an early age, at least prior to adulthood. I know Ron is a large man, but that cell phone looked tiny in his hand. I wonder if he EVER wanted to hurt Charlie? I can’t remember if his instructions were anything other than find her. I hope Ben gets a cool eyepatch. finally, I’ve had The Hook stuck in my head since this morning.
  17. 90’s Daisy looks way to fresh faced for someone who is supposed to have lived as “hard” as she’s depicted as during the 70’s.
  18. So… this one went a bit dark, huh? I too wondered what happened to mountain model man. Did he run off without her? I thought David had the ankle monitor in his hand but it was dark and there were sadly a number of bodies in the “spot”. I was hoping Charlie had an out from being in the run but it looks like they found her. I liked how the coconut rum made her think of sunscreen which made her think of that FL vacation. The weird seeming nonsequenter actually did make sense. even if the smurfette monokini did not.
  19. I think it was just an old house that was a bit rundown. People use cinder blocks like that to mark flowerbeds, to prop up sagging porches, to reinforce old foundations when a house has a crawl space. At least they do in the south.
  20. If they don’t renew it, can they at least tell us what’s in the room?!
  21. So, is Penelope secretly evil? She seems legit thus far but tropes are tropes for a reason.
  22. I’ve felt a there have been some “Sherlock” moments from Lockwood so imagine my delight when “Molly” showed up this episode!
  23. I don’t know if it’s bc they are trying to tell a story that most shows would take probably half a season or more to tell in a less than an hour, or if the writing is just bad, or what, but I’m not really enjoying this. It feels very formulaic. There’s not enough character development to make me care about the characters I’m supposed to care about or to understand anyone’s motives. Why did the nurse want to kill everyone? At first it seemed like she wanted a family and that justified why she killed off mom and I could understand that Danny was a problem and that’s why she wanted him out of the picture, but what was the motivation to kill dad and brother? Money? 42 minutes is just not enough time to tell a story with nuance and layers like this. Or, the writers aren’t talented enough to make it happen. this is the third episode and that’s usually how many I give a show before opting out. I might give it one more bc while I thought the ending to episode two was dumb and unrealistic, I liked the deaf representation. But the quality needs to be stepped up considerably.
  24. Todrick was on Masked Singer and came in second. To Jewel.
  25. Quinton and Andie only have themselves to blame. They knew that the game started with 3 traitors. Arie said in his speech as he was leaving that he was invited to be a traitor “late in the game”. That means a total of four traitors. Even counting Arie that’s only three. All they had to do was some very simple math to know SOMEONE was still a traitor. But the were so blinded by their loyalty they couldn’t see that.
